Earthquake Tech did a great job with seismic retrofitting for our 1908 home. Everyone was a pleasure to work with, and the work crew especially were detailed and professional. Highly recommended.

They did a nice job on the retrofit. Brackets were installed on the exterior and some interior as I have unfinished rooms in the basement. Their crew was on time and professional. My house is mid-century and the original siding had to be removed in some areas. I had landscaping done recently and noticed some of the siding was slightly off at the corners. They came back and fixed it. This was more than a year after they completed the retrofit. All in all, a solid and reputable company to work with.

Such a great experience! From the sales process through the installation there was always someone available to answer my questions. Earthquake Tech started and ended on time - which during COVID was a miracle. Finished product was great! The complete experience was fantastic and stress free.

Earthquake Tech took on a huge project for us to not only earthquake retrofit our house but also help to alter the space to be a future ADU. I loved working with them. They are friendly people who understand the work they do and have the vision to make it all happen. I would work with them again in a heartbeat.

I highly recommend Earthquake Tech for seismic retrofits! I solicited three bids for this admittedly pricey project (~$5200 for my 750 sq ft home with a basement/crawlspace, no cripple walls, gas valve shutoff included), and Earthquake Tech's bid was very competitive. The clincher was that they included the price of the epoxy for the bolts in their bid (the competition did not). Taylor was very responsive, communicative, and educational during the sales process. He really knew his stuff and explained things well. Tayllor also validated my suspicions about another company's insistence that I put brackets and braces on beams which support the floor diaphragm (not sure the term for those exactly).
When the install time came around all of the crew members, including Steve, were very professional, friendly, and communicative about what was going on. The process took a few days and they cleaned up really well. A tiny bit of epoxy spilled on the floor, but hey, it's a basement.
Overall, I'm very pleased with the company, and I'm also considering hiring them for other home improvement projects including the removal of our chimney. -
Earthquake Tech did an excellent job earthquake retrofitting our 1941 home. I initially got bids from two other retrofit contractors. The first contractor took 10 days to send me a bid, which was about $3,000 higher than Earthquake Tech's. The second contractor refused to make a bid, because our house was too complicated for them - but they did recommend Earthquake Tech instead. Taylor Pease from Earthquake Tech (Mr. Can Do) said the job was no problem and promised a bid the next day, which is when it arrived. The cost was reasonable. The crew arrived as scheduled and did a great job from beginning to end. They are patient, careful, and amazingly efficient. They did just what they said they'd do. Taylor also took care of getting the required permit and inspection from the city. From my perspective, Earthquake Tech is the go-to contractor for earthquake retrofits. Don't waste your time with anybody else.

Earthquake Tech was easy to deal with, reliable, and competitively priced.
We solicited bids from three reputable companies. After meeting with all three, we were leaning towards Earthquake Tech because the staff was extremely knowledgeable. When the bid amounts arrived, Earthquake Tech and another company where about the same; around $4,000. Another company was closer to $5,000. After selecting Earthquake Tech, all interactions with them, both over the phone and email, where quick and easy. Due to a minor concern with our old house, they did have to leave some plaster to dry, and come back a few days later to finish that up. That was not an inconvenience to us, and Earthquake Tech was quite accommodating to our schedule. The workers were always on time, and professional.
For a comparison, our house is a 1938 build, with the main level at 1150 square feet. The house had to be mounted to the concrete foundation. One of the basement corners is now a bathroom, and is inaccessible to Earthquake Tech, without lots of cutting and expense. Therefore, that corner was bracketed on the outside of the house. While the brackets are technically visible, they are not noticeable at all. -
Taylor has been absolutely amazing to work with!
Earthquake Tech is highly professional and innovative.
This is a company that truly cares, their ability to come up with new and creative solutions to retrofitting / foundation issues is incredible.
We will continue to call Earthquake Tech for all of our retrofitting needs in the future. Thanks guys! -
I am tremendously pleased with the seismic retrofit of my home that Earthquake Tech provided. The crew that worked on my house was punctual, efficient, thorough and highly professional. Steve Gemmell is highly experienced in performing residential seismic retrofits and provided tremendous insights and guidance from estimate to job completion. At the end of the job, the crew at my house left my basement even cleaner than it found it. I recommend Earthquake Tech highly and am grateful for its work.

I got a quote from another fence place that was twice as expensive. For what I paid I think I got a good deal. I had a couple eccentric requests and they tolerated me in a professional manner.
-
The fence was built quickly, professionally, well-priced, and with great design style. We went through several quotes with other vendors, and I am very happy to have selected Coras Construction in this project.
-
Do not use this company! They put 4 broken pieces of wood on 30 ft of fence, they put the boards right next to each other leaving no space for wind or swelling when it rains, majority of the nails are bent AND when I texted and emailed them about the problems they would not respond!
-
I have worked with Coras on two different occasions, they were exceptional both times. They use quality material, are professional, responsive and quite careful with existing landscaping.
They are on time, well-priced and work quickly. Their work is impeccable. I cannot recommend Coras highly enough for your fencing and decking needs. -
we got several estimates and Coras construction was the best price. so naturally, we were hoping for the best quality work.🤞🤞 Well, we got it. They were so careful of all of my wife’s plants and flowers. They literally did not even break a single branch on anything.
The quality of work was excellent. I owned the roofing company many years ago I was very impressed. I will definitely recommend this company to anyone. -
I recommend Coras for your fencing. They gave a good priced quote for my fence, came out the day they were scheduled, the fence was built quickly, made a few changes on the fly that we requested, and came out to do some touch up staining on dry spots after we closed out to make sure we were happy. Communication with the workers was a little difficult with the language barrier but they always worked to understand what we were asking, and made sure we were taken care of. They did a great job.

Professional. Knowledgeable. Thorough. Collaborative. I 1000% recommend Austin / Town and Range Surveying. It is rare to find such great service these days. Choose Austin.
-
Called Austin and he had all the answers and experience I was looking for. Was extremely kind, courteous, and fast with the answers I was looking for. I will be hiring him for all future survey needs and land dispute issues. He gave me tools to figure out stuff on my own as well as some of his time to dig for answers. Thank you Austin!
-
I called Austin to answer some questions about possible survey services for a boundary issue and he was extremely helpful in answering them and more. If I end up getting a surveyor, it will definitely be Austin with Town and Range Surveying. Thank you!
-
Austin is top notch! He was generous with his time and knowledge while walking me through some property line challenges that have arisen with the house I just bought. I will most likely not need his services, as we determined, but if anything changes then he'll definitely be who I call on.
-
Austin did an excellent job with a Retracement Survey he did for my property. He did his research before we agreed to services and I appreciate him for being able to answer all my questions. Very efficient and professional, thanks again!!

Town and Range was exactly the right company I needed when selling my adjoining properties. Austin researched the existing easements with the county and wrote an assessment for the buyers which helped the sales go through seamlessly. He was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful.
