After contacting several construction companies Andy with Seymour went above and beyond expectations. From start to finish of the project he help mold the way to a clean and quick remodel. I will definitely be calling them back for phase 2 of construction.

My son and I are extremely pleased with the quality of work and speed in which our job was completed. Our newly purchased Victorian house needed 2 new staircases as well as other repairs. All of this was done quickly and creatively. One staircase (to the basement) was originally so steep it looked like a ladder - Andy and his team designed and built a new one with landings and handrails that is both beautiful and easy to use in order to get to the laundry room. The other staircase went to the second floor. The original one had uneven steps, inadequate headroom and was also dangerous to use. The new staircase is gorgeous, safe and provides ample headroom . We are very pleased with the final product. They also renovated the mudroom/small room that leads to the backyard - by adding a new door, flooring (and leveled it) and sheet rock on the walls. It all looks great.

We are just about wrapping up a basement remodel with Lux and couldn't be more pleased with the way the project has been handled. Lux Construction recently performed two projects at our house, including a balcony replacement and extensive concrete work, plus a new front porch. They have done excellent work and we are very satisfied.

Aspects of the work that stand out are attention to detail, quality carpentry, initiative to get things right without being asked, plus a clean worksite at the end of each workday. Their subcontractors performed some of the work, including concrete, and the finished product is excellent.

I called Andrew for an estimate on a small project and even with it being out of their scope he was so quick to help me find help and a contractor that he recommended. Can’t wait til I have a bigger project to use them in the future!

I tried to get an estimate but they being very selective and decided its not worth it since I told them I'm familiar with the marketplace and already received other bids. Typically this means they're cherry picking for the higher end which is fine if you got loads of money to spend. Frustrating time to get work done, lots of contractors are highballing though.

Several years ago I had LUX do my largest renovation to date on my 100+ year old Craftsman bungalow. The second floor (originally the attic) had no bath room or heating and limited head space. The LUC team transformed that space by recommending a shed dormer. Now I have a bright and spacious upstairs bathroom and living space to complement the existing primary bedroom. The mini split HVAC units ensure year round comfort. I gave a large degree of design freedom to Andrew and Ian and I am very glad I did so. I was living out of state at the time and unable to “hover” over the project. I have no regrets. They listened to my needs and budget issues and “Nailed It.” I love what they created for me.
I like working with Andrew and Isn. They are intelligent, polite, professional and honest. Over the subsequent years I have used their team for several smaller projects and have worked with many of their crew. Neal, who was the lead on my most recent projects, was delightful and even received complements from two of my neighbors.

We have worked with Lux for many home projects including retrofitting our home and building our new garage. Their work is of the highest quality - our garage is beautiful and functional- and Ian and Andrew are professional, approachable, and incredibly responsive (always same day, usually same half hour responses). They talk through all options and support us in making best decision for us. I trust them implicitly and know they give us the best service and product possible. Can't recommend them highly enough.
