I've used Century Electric for several projects over the past few years and have always been very satisfied with the work. Troy is extremely professional, easy to work with and offers great value for the quality of work provided. He also showed respect for our home (carpets, etc) and cleaned up thoroughly afterwards. I originally learned of Troy from a friend's referral and have since referred others to him. I would highly recommend to anyone needing an electrician in the area.

I was lucky enough just using my 6th sense to find Troy. It was his humble photo that hooked me. Troy 1st stopped by to assess my situation, discuss the potential resolutions, and book an appointment. Troy is super friendly and totally professional. On both visits he covered his shoes with booties even though I walk around here in shoes. And he cleaned up totally leaving no evidence of any work having been done in the surrounding area of my control panel, which he fixed.

Steve & his team did a thorough, timely job removing and reinstalling my solar panels when I had my roof replaced this summer. Here's why those folks were so valuable:

My home came with solar panels when I bought it, yet the seller didn't know who sold or installed them. To my surprise, when I called around, I learned that a lot of the solar panel companies who sell & install require you to exclusively use them throughout your ownership. Since I didn't know who made & installed mine, most places couldn't help me.

Once I found PSNW, it all went smoothly and quickly. The team neatly arranged all of my parts in a small section in my garage, there was nothing broken or damaged, and reinstallation was a breeze. I'd certainly use these folks again for anything panel-related.

I recently had my solar system installed by Pinnacle Solar NW, and I couldn't be more satisfied with the entire process. From the initial Bid and consultation to the final installation, their team (Dan, Steve, Tim, and Sky) demonstrated exceptional professionalism, knowledge, and customer service.

We had a wonderful experience with Steve and his team. We have been trying to get this job done for years and finally found pinnacle and they did it with no problems. They did everything they said and the communication was great. Now for the best part even after the job was done they still answer the phone and try to answer my questions. They were a joy to do business with.

Steve and his team were AMAZING to work with. We attempted solar twice with other companies that got stuck and gave up with the permitting process. Steve’s is the only company that came through with permitting in our difficult county. They were timely, wonderful communicators and did very careful, professional installation of our battery wall and solar panels. We are so impressed and would recommend them to anyone!

I am the ultimate obsessive researcher before making a big purchase. I created a detailed spreadsheet for the 6 installers I researched. I was proven correct every step of the way!
For people like me who would like more details, here goes:
(Note: I had to delete three huge paragraphs detailing my journey and comparisons because it got to long for Google. The short version is that the more expensive companies were paying for infrastructure, not product or service.)
Then I took a deep dive into Pinnacle and another local company that had been around just a bit longer than them, about 5 years. They both had similar business models and appeared very similar in most respects. I liked them both. Pinnacle was pricing 1/3 less for the best product of any of the companies; this just slightly older competitor was somewhere between the two book ends in price and very tempting. Every technical question I asked them supported what Pinnacle and my research were telling me, so that increased my trust for Pinnacle. And then I stumbled upon a neighbor who was so happy with his panels and installer from over 10 years ago, which turned out to be Dan Tracy of Pinnacle Solar! Though he had worked for a different company at the time, this reassured me that he is top notch and I can trust him and Pinnacle. I also met the owner, Steve Nye, who struck out on his own for good reasons, and who previously worked for another solar company that was recommended by my awesome installer of a standing seam roof that integrates beautifully with solar panels. I also liked that Steve had been a graduate research assistant at UMass, Boston in an environmental area. Both Dan and Steve answered all my questions directly, fully, and knowledgeably. I spoke directly with the manufacturers of the REC panels (top of the line for efficiency, and longevity and the only criticism other installers could levy is that they are more expensive and were they to use this, their already inflated prices would increase!) and NPhase inverters, and I was comfortable moving forward.
I’m notorious for reading every word of a contract, asking for clarification wherever things seem vague, and asking for what I was promised in plain English to be written into the contract in plain English. Dan and Steve graciously accommodated my request. And other than the 1K downpayment that went toward the engineering report, they did not collect a penny from me until after PGE connected my system! This sealed my trust with them. Their project manager, Alan did all the work in the background to coordinate everything efficiently. Their electrician and installation guys were lovely, efficient, clean, and so very personable (my son plans to meet up to jam on guitar with one of them!). Pinnacle offered a completion date well ahead of the other companies and from start to finish, they completed everything on time or better with incredible communication. I was so impressed!
A special plug for Steve’s artistic eye. The design looks amazing! He got enough panels on a tiny roof to completely offset my electricity costs such that I will be paying only the connection fee once we cycle through a year. We started on some cloudy days and my system was producing, and then on our more recent sunny days it’s been cranking. I’ve had it for about a week now, half of them cloudy days, and my app says that I consumed 119.4 Kwh and produced 190.6 Kwh, which means I banked 71.1 Kwh and I think that’s pretty darn good!
In sum, I wholeheartedly recommend Pinnacle with max stars on every measure! Thank you Pinnacle!
