Ethan has spent many hours roughing in a basement ADU project, working closely with other subcontractors. I've never met an electrician who was so thoughtful in his craft and closely monitors what other trades are doing so their needs are met as well. Courteous, efficient, and professional are the words that come to mind.

Very friendly staff and easy to work with. Had a glitch with newly installed closet lighting but they came back to remedy the issue.

The team at Shift is remarkable. Scheduling was easy, and the electrician showed up right on time. We needed a car charger installed, but we also have an older home and have struggled with flickering lights, non-working dimmers, and old light fixtures that needed repair. Ethan skillfully installed our charger - checking in with us to ensure it was easily accessible and aesthetically pleasing. Then he went to work on all the old fixtures and dimmers! What a change! Our old home is now flicker-free, all the dimmers work perfectly, and all our bulbs are bright and new. What an upgrade!

After working w a shady contractor I was sceptical about hiring anyone .
I had mirrors installed in my salon from contractor that had wires hanging out and looked like a 12 year old put it together.
They came in and did exactly what I wanted . If I could give them 6 starts I would .

We hired Shift to hardwire in a new hot tub and it was one of the most seamless home projects I have EVER done. From my first email requesting a quote to them sending an estimator over to the actual work itself, I am so blown away by everyone's professionalism and positive attitude. The admin team seemed genuinely excited to get us in our hot tub by the weekend and got us booked in quickly. The electrician, Jathan, showed up exactly on time and worked so hard all day. We were up and running only a few hours later.

We've used a big Portland electric company in the past but they were really slow to respond and the price would always be double whatever they quoted us, which is why we were trying to find someone else. I couldn't be happier to have found Shift. I won't work with any other electrician in Portland now!

Shift Electric Co. was fabulous to work with! They scheduled my service, showed up on time, installed a new beautiful light fixture, and then took all the packaging with them! Along the way, he asked my preference for height and bulb selection. I even found him vacuuming his way out even though he had fully covered the area during the installation. I am so impressed, and we will be using them again.

Shift Electric are by far the best electricians we’ve worked with. They installed the electric for our outdoor sauna and reworked our electrical panel to make room for the extra output required for the sauna. We loved working with them because they are (1) expert electricians, (2) friendly and easy to communicate with, (3) extremely reliable with scheduling, (4) they offer competitive pricing, (5) they get the job done quickly and right. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Shift was wonderful to work with and Matt, the assigned electrician, was outstanding - from the second Matt showed up, I knew we were in good hands. We had to install an outlet in our fireplace for a gas insert and Matt knew exactly what was required. The installation was efficient and is barely noticeable (given we had to pull a new wire from our breaker to the fireplace). Would absolutely use Shift again.

Cut my family off in traffic in a company vehicle almost causing a crash. Probably should drive less aggressively in branded cars.
