Very attentive staff that makes sure your needs are taken care of!

Terrible customer service. Made me feel I was putting them out by trying to make an order. Very disrespectful

    2

Counter sales are confused most of the time when looking for specific square d items. Not a lot of stocked items compared to platt, crescent or north coast. I only come here when I absolutely have too. Would not recommend this place of business to co-workers or friends.

I needed a new electrical panel upgrade
On my recent investment property. Rose city was very helpful with answering all my questions. At first I was hesitant because of some reviews but they assured me that was the old management and they were true to their word. Everything went smoothly.

Excellent service. They have fair prices! Would 100% recommend.

This company gave a bid fully two times higher than the next lowest bidder. Is there no sense of providing honest value for an honest price anymore? Ridiculous.

this operator named Cassidy confirmed an electrician was available and eventually ended up not able to provide service due to them not having any electricians available that day! wasted half of the day for nothing and costed thousands of dollars worth of medicine due to her INCOMPETENCY

The job was changing knob and tube to Romex and replacing the breaker box. I didn't realize just how complicated it all was when we started but these guys did an amazing job. They set up additional circuits for when we finish the basement.

Had an issue with the plug over my sink/disposal. Jay was on time, very professional and discovered some unsafe wiring. He took the time to replace it and did an excellent job. Would highly recommend. Thanks Jay!

My power went out at midnight due to a faulty electric car charger issue. I called these guys at 6:30 a.m. and they had two electricians (Art and a colleague) to my house by 8:15 a.m. They quickly fixed the issue. The fee was reasonable and service was great. Thank you!

The service itself was great, the technician was very nice. Minus one star for having confusing billing practices. This job was for installing a ceiling fan and timer switches on outlets. As they charge by the hour, I started putting the fan together ahead of time and took down the chandelier it was replacing so the tech wouldn't have to do all that. The whole job took 1 1/2 hours but I was still charged for 2 hrs. I understand they round up but given I already saved him some time this was a bit frustrating. Also, the invoice has something called a "van fee" for $50. What the heck is that for?

These guys were awesome. They were running a little behind schedule, but The Tech reaches out to me and let me know. Once he got there he got in and got the job done. They had to come back for another small job. They were ahead of schedule and again, the tech called to offer an earlier time. Job well done and great communication! Thank you Jerry for having great employees!

Rose City Electric Co. did a great job taking care of some outlet issues at our older home. They responded quickly, were excellent at diagnosing and resolving the issues, and were pleasant to work with. Thank you, Roger!

A friend of mine at work recommended Rose City, so, my husband and I had them install electrical and light fixtures in our basement we were remodeling. We weren't certain of exactly what would look best, but, they were great about giving us suggestions and completing the work in the time frame we discussed. We were also impressed about how professional and knowledgeable they were.

Says they're 24 hours but doesn't offer emergency services. So they're not really open 24 hours

These guys went above and beyond!
Our house is pretty old and we really wanted to put in a dishwasher. This was a brand new install, and required multiple different contractors. One for electric, another for plumbing, and a third to actually rip out the cabinets and hook up the dishwasher. We hired Rose City to wire up several things, including the dishwasher.

After they came and went, the other contractors also came though and in the end our dishwasher didn't turn on. I saw some loose wires in the basement marked dishwasher, and it turns out that the guys who were supposed to install the dishwasher hadn't fished the wires through. I didn't know that though, and had assumed that Rose City had forgotten to do it. So I called them back out, and even though it wasn't technically their fault, they still took care of it for me. They also fixed my shower head, which was totally not in their realm of things that they were supposed to do.

    Thanks guys!

Rose City is a great company to work with. They absolutely nailed my kitchen remodel in a good amount of time and for a great price! Jim really knows his stuff and did a great job explaining what options I had for various situations so I could make educated choices.

I called Rose City Electric to convert some pendant lights over my kitchen table to recessed lights. The tech went in the attic to find that I already had the recessed boxes up there that the previous owners had patched. That meant the tech just needed to cut new holes and buy the recessed covers therefore saving money!
Rose City was on time, very professional and had competitive pricing. I trust Rose City’s judgment and their ethics implicitly. Thanks BBurgers!

We can not recommend doing business with the current ownership of Rose City Electric Co. I encourage you to check out prior complaints with the Oregon CCB (Construction Contractors Board), Yelp and the BBB first. I wish I we had.

Our electrician did a great job and the office staff was very nice and professional. This was not a dispute about the cost of services or quality of work as you might expect. An error occurred in the electronic payment process where we were charged a $60 processing fee which, in their own words, should have been “waived when paying by Bank Transfer.” The owner insists I must have entered in the incorrect amount and he refused to pay the $60 back even though the business did not incur a bank fee. Rather than address the error amicably, the owner corresponded in a way that was, IMO, unprofessional and insulting. He ultimately paid our money back, but no one should have to go through what we did for something so clear.

There has to be some good electrician business out there that value customers and treat them fairly, so investigate your options carefully. Good luck.
