Unfortunately I cannot give zero stars. Like many people I’ve seen online (Yelp, etc) reviewing Badger Electric, I’ve never left a negative review before. They are truly inspiring.

They are currently doing work on the basement of my 1940s apartment building, directly below my apartment, and the noise is horrendous, starts at 7:30am, and they are unwilling to start later. This work is apparently being spearheaded by the electric company, so my building manager hasn't had much of the information about what's going to happen and when. So, I was painfully awakened by continuous and loud banging, scraping, and other noises around 8am on Monday, that I did not have a heads up for - incredibly not trauma informed.

I believe in approaching things directly, with curiosity & compassion. When I have approached the Badger Electric people (twice) to get information about when they will be making noise, the person called "Brian" has been rude and dismissive, and mansplained at length about all of the wires they are running, instead of answering my questions directly. I understand that noises are required for their work, and am not asking them to not do it, but simply was seeking information about when so I could have a trauma informed experience of this very disruptive period of what sounds like it will be three weeks. However, They are inconsiderate, seem to have no understanding or respect for the fact that they are daily entering other peoples' homes and making a lot of noise at a time when many people are sleeping. I really hope that Brian and the decisions they have made about when they "have to" start working every day, and how to so rudely respond to the logical questions of the people they are impacting with their work, are not representative of other experiences of working with this contractor, but based on this experience, if you want to not be treated terribly, do not hire this company.

Kindness would be a great tool to add to your toolkit if this is the line of work you choose.

Shannon at Badger Electric was so helpful today. She not only helped try to diagnose and fix the problem over the phone at no charge, she referred me to another electrician because they were booked too far out.

Despite not hiring out Badger, I will absolutely be calling them again in the future.

I am more than happy with Badger Electric. Very professional, easy to work with, honest, pet loving (!) and courteous. The crew of Brian, Peter and Chad worked 2 days on a job for my home and garage. Can't say enough about their fantastic work . The bid was reasonable and fair. They are honest and hard working and very personable. Mary in the office was very nice too. I will recommend Badger Electric and this crew to everyone. If I could give more than five stars I would! Thank you!

We used Badger Electric for a 1931 home remodel where the electric work done by the previous owner was subpar. They fixed all the plugs that needed it and wired an entire new kitchen along with putting ceiling lights in the basement and adding plugs to places that needed them. Most the work was done by Andrew who is an amazing electrician who figured out how to work through any challenges and he also was knowledgeable about how to create the best lighting in the new kitchen. I highly recommend Badger for any electrical work needed!!

Great job. Those Badgers were on time, professional, friendly, informative, and a pleasure to work with. A++. Highly recommended.

I just want to say that Shannon and Patrick were amazing! We truly needed them and they helped us in a bind! Prioritized us and made wiggle room at the last minute to solve our need and emergency! They brought us up to code and we feel safe knowing they were on the job! Highly recommend this company for any electrical needs and will be using them again but fingers crossed not soon!

We had a not so great experience. Badger came to our hone to add electricity to a shed. They dug a ditch and now are refusing to fill it unless they are paid more. They made a mistake involving a security light and refused to fix their error. We paid them $110 to move things out of the shed and they refused to put the stuff back in. Think twice before signing any contract.

UPDATE! They came out and corrected the situation. Therefore, I 'm updating the review to reflect that they made this right. It was done in a timely manner without upset.

We are pretty handy with electrical and handle most issues ourselves, but we had quite a mystery with a failed circuit. After troubleshooting it for a week, we called Badger Electric, and Jeremy came out to look at it. After a perplexing 90 minutes where we were both stumped for a bit, we traced it finally to an outlet that had an arcing connection and he quickly and efficiently remediated the problem.

The team was efficient, professional, and I appreciated that Jeremy didn't discount the work that I did and listened, and helped to challenge the assumptions I had already made. I couldn't recommend the team more!

Great staff! From the front desk to the estimator / owner and to the electricians themselves! I have worked with them for years both personally and recommended them to my clients and friends. I cannot say enough good words about this electrical contracting company!

Mike is great to work with. Always very communicative, sends one of his guys out in a reasonable amount of time, and even answers questions when I have an issue that’s an easy fix.

I was very pleased with the process of getting a quote for my garage project- with Kevin- and with the work performed by his crew in Sept. 2020. Responsive, on-time, work done in accordance with the quote, etc. The young men who did the work were very good, talking with me about what we wanted done before each step of the process- very personable- just all around a very good experience for me. I know I will use them again [a few more projects in mind] and recommend them to others.

I've used Mike and team at Precision NW Electrical several times for projects and repairs around the home, from replacing GFCI outlets to wiring a new home office addition. Mike always responds quickly to requests and the work his team does is high quality.

Terrific service! Owner Mike McDonald is very accommodating to my sometimes erratic schedule and a delight to work with. His staff finished one job in the dark so I'd have driveway lights for a party. Everyone at Precision is customer driven, professional and at reasonable rates. Old fashioned quality and service not often found today.

My Wife and I have been using Precision NW Electrical for 9 years as we have needed an electrician for our renovations. They have always done quality work at a fair price, but the main selling point for using this company is the owner Mike. He is friendly, knowledgeable, and communicative. Most importantly I have full trust in him that if something doesn’t go as planned (which is inevitable at some point working with a company for as long as 9 years) that Mike will make it right.

Additionally, he has a genuine interest in helping people, and has regularly gone past the scope of the hired job to help me. I recently got myself into a bit of a mess with the City managing my own permits and even though the mess had nothing to do with him, Mike went above and beyond in helping me figure out what I needed to do to fix the issue.

There will always be things that come up or don’t go as planned with any company, so I’ve come to value above all else working with people who I know will make sure things are right at the end of the day, and Precision NW Electrical is one of those and for sure the kind of company you want working on your home or business!
