We had Young electric come out to install an EV charger in our garage. Kannon did an excellent job with the installation. He was professional, on time, and completed the work quickly and to our satisfaction. We had an opportunity to work with Alex on a follow-up service call and were equally impressed with his work. We will definitely look to use Young Electric again in the future and recommend them to anyone looking for quality, professional electrical work

The best electric installation service experience, proactivity and clean work done from their staff of our L2 hardwired EV Charger

I wanted to support this company because it said veteran owned and had high ratings. I called to set up service and the girl who answered the phone was kind of rude and said she would send an email to me so that I could send pictures of the project. Never sent the email, so I called back later that day to make sure they got my email address. It was a different girl this time. Said she would send an email but never did. So I had to find another place that actually wanted my business 🤷🏽‍♀️

Bailey came out to give us an estimate to address our electrical issue and breaker box (We had a couple estimates prior)
He was friendly and upon Identifying a hazard, he called Ted (electrician) to come over and advise if there was another way to fix our issue. We had options but because of the safety reasons and genuine concerns they showed, we wanted them to perform the job. Dalton showed up early the next day. He was very professional and kept us informed constantly about the process. Answered all the questions we had and was so patient too. It's also worth noting how tidy he was and the work he performed was beautiful. Who knew a breaker box could be a work of art. Absolutely amazing- Highly recommend!

Great work, fair pricing. Only thing keeping it from 5 stars was a bit of a delay in scheduling, but once they were here, they knocked it out of the park. Definitely worth the wait.

Adam was polite, knowledgeable, punctual, and just generally a joy to work with. The installation went very smoothly, and he was even able to run the wiring through the existing cover for our AC venting, which made a potential eyesore instead look sharp as heck. Scheduling was a breeze, and prices were very reasonable. If I need electrical work in the future, Young Electric will be my first call.

So, had an electrical issue that lasted for months and we a paid our warranty company along with 3 different companies $$ just to come and take a look. Each one declined the work and kept the show fee. Today I called Young Electric.. first, free estimate! Second, appointment made for that day! Third, Bailey was early and went right to work. He was personable, patient and fixed our issue! Call Young Electric! It is a local company and they made it happen for us today! Thank you! And the price was reasonable!

Steven N was very kind and helped fix our issue. A little pricey, but apparently that is everyone these days. Would recommend.

Young Electric was fantastic to work with! They were quick to respond and incredibly flexible with schedule adjustments. The team, especially the project manager Darin, was professional, friendly, and a pleasure to work with. We are extremely satisfied with the quality of their work and their expertise in seamlessly integrating additional EV chargers into our existing multi-family residential network. Highly recommend!

I scheduled an appointment for an estimate on an electrical job. The estimator was a no show. Within 20 minutes of the appointment time I called to find out where the estimator was. I was told they had written down the wrong address and could not find the address. But rather than calling me to get clarification on the address, they just no-showed. I had to call them to follow up. I asked if they could send the estimator over and that it would only take a few minutes (and it was only 20 minutes after the appointment time). They said the best they could do was to reschedule the appointment for the following week. Personally, I think a business should try to accommodate a customer when the business screws up. They apparently have a different philosophy. Very disappointing.

Yet another UPDATE:
I had to call the city of Beaverton, and then an inspection got scheduled quickly. The inspection FAILED, because Young didn't install grounding rods, and because according to the inspector they HAVE to fix the wall. So now I get to chase Young, so they fix the issue. The inspector suggested I report them to the state, which I will do promptly. STAY AWAY FROM YOUNG ELECTRIC.

UPDATE: I am having to update my previously positive review with a negative review, in the hope Young electric will finally take care of the lack of permitting in the panel replacement they performed at my house two months ago.
We paid for the permit and the work promptly, assuming young had done due diligence on getting the permit before starting the work. We were told to expect an inspection, which never happened. A month after radio silence, i called to follow up, and I was told "they were waiting on the city to schedule the inspection." Another month went by, and now I was just told by young that they never got a permit from the city, and they are waiting on that. " So they basically did the work unpermitted, and now I'm in limbo, having to call young back again and again without any follow up on their end." I'm now left with no recourse but to report Young to the better business bureau, and probably having to go to the city myself to get this straightened out. It's incredibly frustrating, especially since we paid for work that we assumed wrongly was being done correctly. They also left a giant hole in the dry wall that we are not supposed to fix until the supposed inspection happens. Two months of winter with a giant hole in the garage, and an unpermitted electrical panel. I do not recommend Young after this terrible experience.

Dustin was great. Punctual, friendly, professional and fast. I'm confident the work was done well and now I can have peace of mind not having to worry about electrical issues in my new home. Everyone I spoke to on the phone was very friendly, helpful and polite. Will definitely be using Young electric for all my future electrical work.

I had Mark and Lalo out to my place to install some lighting fixtures in my kitchen, and they finished fast and efficiently! I'm a new home owner and expressed concerns of not knowing whats best for my place, so Mark was polite enough to survey my whole house to check if anything was out of sorts and found that my panel was out of code in addition to some other things and got me an estimate same day for it.
The office crew contacted me by end of day to get the rest of the work done the next week! Thank you for everything, I will be recommending you to my friends and family in the future!

I wanted an exterior light and outlet installed while wall opened up during siding replacement. Darin arrived exactly when expected, quickly understood what was wanted and working with siding guys efficiently installed the new wiring during the brief time wall opened up. He came back on short notice the next day to trouble shoot a short caused by a nail in new siding. I was impressed at how quickly he traced the short and then repaired it.

We had them install a Tesla wall charger with a new breaker. After installation I noticed 5 drill holes around where they attached the conduit to the wall. I contacted them to resolve the issue. I was told that per our contract, they were not responsible for drywall repair. "Service may require wall/ceiling finish removal/caulking (often sheetrock or lathe and plaster). Repairs are not included and no reimbursements for any damage".

My belief is that some drywall damage as a result of installation could be expected. But this is just lazily using a drill as a stud finder.

Really quick and professional. Arthur went above and beyond with making sure our level 2 EV charger was installed cleanly and without any issues. The quote was accurate and the work was done well. Would recommend.

Mark is an excellent electrician who did an amazing job in installing a Level 2 EV car charger. They did their job quickly and professionally. Answered all my questions with patience and provided suggestions about out panel board. I am happy they arrived 2 weeks before the scheduled date to get the job done at a good price. Thank you Mark and Young Electric.

Dalton came in and did a GREAT job! He was very informative, very helpful. Very efficient and a nice young man!

Brandon was super friendly and knew what he was doing, and he even taught me a couple things. I had a two new circuits run in the garage. Three new outlets on a 20 amp and a 240v 50 amp plug. The price was a bit high at $1300 but the quality and warranty can't be beat and I'll definitely hire young electric again when I need more electrical done.

2023 edit: deducting a star after another electrician showed me some shoddy work inside the panel. One of the knock outs was so bent the collar didn't hold and 50amp wire was rubbing against a sharp metal edge.

Arthur of Young Electric was great to work with. He removed a ceiling fan and installed several fixtures for me in just a few hours. This is my third time hiring Young Electric and I recommend them highly for their prompt and professional service
