Young Electric bid out upgrading our electrical panel and service, moving our meter, and rewiring our kitchen and laundry room at a reasonable price, for a house that few were willing to touch due to its age and the scope of the work. All of their work passed the City rough in inspection with flying colors. Mark the Master Electrician was pragmatic, punctual and very communicative, as was their office staff. They were even able to bump up our project on their schedule when another big project got moved. The only hiccup was the electrical they ran for our laundry room went through the area of the ceiling we were planning to designate for the attic access panel, requiring us to move the panel. The location of the panel should've been noted on the building plans but it wasn't, which was not Young Electric's fault. Moving it was not a big deal for us. Quite happy with their service so far. I'll update this review once the final inspection is done in late April/early May.

We contacted Young Electric to work on our outdoor deck to install lighting and heating. The customer service staff was ever so patient with us as we were also installing a waterproof ceiling to this project as well. This led to multiple calls/rescheduling of the project so both contractors could be around at the same time. There was miscommunication on the "how" of the installation between the two contractors resulting in a delay and a reinstallation of the ceiling panels (which the ceiling company comped but Young electric also offered to cover cost). The end project was well worth the confusion. They equipment (2 electric heaters and a light/fan) work perfectly! No problems at all. The cost was reasonable (about $2900) and the contractors showed up on time and ready to work.

My only complaint if I really had to make one was for Young Electric to have a plan for their contractors to use the facilities during their time on a job. Expecting home owners during a pandemic to have them use theirs isn't very safe for either party. We felt bad declining the request but with an immunosuppressed person in the home we just couldn't take the risk.

The whole company was amazing! Dalton was an amazing electrician and did great work. He was easy and enjoyable to work with. We look forward to working with Young Electric again.

We hired them to install 7 replacement switches for old dimmer switches on our lights that had aged, the plastic degrading and one stopped working. We had purchased some switches online and they turned out to be the wrong ones. They quickly arrived, diagnosed the issue, and explained why what we had ordered was wrong and then ordered the correct parts and installed them a couple of days later, as soon as they came in. The price was reasonable, though no electrical work is cheap, it was somewhat less than we expected. Overall, we would give them 5 stars since we can find no way they could have improved. I have already referred them to others.

Young Electric has been to my home three times to install new chandeliers. They are professional and hard-working and a pleasure to have in the house. The light fixtures were picked out by a designer in San Francisco and are expensive, heavy, complicated and many were imported (instructions in Portuguese was a challenge!) To make things harder, many of the light switches in my home were defective or wired in strange ways. Young Electric did an incredible job with these installations.

Dalton and Austin showed up early! They were professional, yet friendly, and they quickly fixed the light socket, and reassured me there were no damaged wires. Excellent service! They’re my go-to team for any electrical issues I encounter in the future ☺️

I was very satisfied with the service provided. The electrician showed professionalism and punctuality, and explained what he was going to do before starting the job. Everything is working fine, and the job was done satisfactorily in a short period of time. The charges were reasonable. I will definitely use this company again and recommend it to my friends.

We had some recessed can lights that were flickering and we tried to replace the bulb which didn’t solve the problem. Gerryn Energy sent out Nick and Micah who quickly assessed and fixed our lights and were very easy to work with. Best of all the cost was better than a competitors bid. Would recommend and we will use them in the future for any electric needs.

Gerry and his team did a big job at my house recently. Gerry came out for a site visit first, and he immediately felt like someone I would trust to have working on my house- he first took the time to tell me about his company and his training, which I appreciated. On our walk-through he listened to all of my concerns/past electrical issues that needed addressing, and then talked through ideas of how to problem-solve some of the trickier components of the work. When he left, I was already confident that his company would be the right choice, but when I got his estimate and saw that he also had the best price compared to the other quotes I'd received, I booked him immediately.

When the team came out on the appointed day, they were well-prepared and operated smoothly as a unit. They kept every area very clean, and though it was in the contract that some drywall repair may be needed (which I was prepared for), the whole job was done with such precision that all cuts were perfectly sized, no repairs needed.

They not only got everything on my lengthy to-do list completed in great time, but even took care of a couple of small extra things at no added charge. On top of all of this, the entire team- including Melissa in the office- are responsive to questions and friendly. Plus they are a family-owned, local business, which we should always aim to support where we can. I can't recommend them enough!

If i could give more than 5 stars then i would. Its rare to find someone whose professionalism, dedication to their craft and quality of workmanship, are all at high level simultaneously. My home had multiple issues: from daily/weekly breaker trips, bad outlets to an entire section of the house running off extension cords. Gerry is an electrician rockstar! I am a realtor, and I’ve worked with lots of electricians, and Gerry is top-notch. I specifically hired him for this job because he specializes in electric vehicle charging solutions and we had just purchased our first electric vehicle and needed a dedicated 50 amp outlet installed. He did an amazing job with the install, and was really fun to hang with during the process.
