Place is truly awesome, don't be dissuaded by the one-star review that is apparently a road rage-fueled rant about a truck driving too slow. Staff is really knowledgeable and fun, and I got my stuff for literally less than half of what Platt charges (and I get Platt's contractor pricing).

Had some work done to install outlets and recalibrate smoke detectors. Ask for Larry, fair pricing, he is experienced and knows what he's doing - I recommend Dickinson's Electric.

Called for estimate on commercial project. Without discussing any details, he laughed and said, "I'll probably just drop this because I won't be able to fit you in" and that was it. About 30 seconds on the phone, no talking, no attempt to give me a future date on the schedule, no attempt at an estimate. Must be nice to be so busy that you won't even discuss a project with a potential customer.

Called them because I was having an electrical issue in my garage. They talked through the issue and we were able to fix it without them having to send a guy out to my house. If I ever have an electrical issue in the future, 100% Dickinson's Electric will be the first person I call.

I had a small commercial project that needed to be done. Dickinson's came out and did the whole thing in one day. They were quick and considerate of my clients. They did a great job of cleaning up and all I had to show for it was extra lighting that I needed and a few new plugs in the wall. These guys are stellar.
