Blessings is one of the most professional companies I have ever worked with. From start to finish they have kept me informed every step of the way as to what they were doing and their timelines. The end result was exactly what I wanted. About 5 years after project completion there was a problem with the bamboo. Jesse personally came out and viewed the problem and it was rectified immediately, at their cost. Everyone in the crew was friendly, professional and some of the hardest workers I have ever encountered. We have recommended Blessings to several friends and they have all been very pleased with the results.

Blessings was well worth the wait. Their communication was fast and transparent. Each person that helped was very knowledgeable and easy to work with. Every aspect of the installation was done with extreme precision and care. It's a little hard to keep my neighbors away in that they all want to discuss our landscape with us. I look forward to continue working with Blessings for years to come.

I'm not a regular client, but contacted them to help prepare our house for sale. They were responsive and gave me a variety of options for making the place look great. They were able to meet my rather demanding schedule, and I couldn't be happier with the result.

Damon came out in July, to give me an estimate for some pruning work. We settled on a day in mid-September for the work to be done.

Today was the day. Blessings was scheduled to come out at 8 am. I had arranged my schedule so that I was home and available.

At 8am, a Blessings truck arrived in my cul-de-sac. However, no one came to my door. This continued for 40 minutes. At 8:40, I went outside to speak to the driver of the truck. What was going on?

He was very nice. He politely explained that he had been told to wait for Damon, who would tell them what to do. He said Damon would arrive shortly. This seemed strange, but I said OK.

A while later, another man came to the door. He was very nice, but he explained that no one had told them what to prune. He said that Damon needed to be there, and for some reason he was not, something to do with double-booking.

At this point, there were a number of men in front of my house, waiting. They had not received the authorization to begin work (and they didn't know what work to do).

I called the Blessing office, and spoke to someone there. He talked about software glitches, and computer updates, and other things that were not my problem. He said that the other managers were in a meeting and could not help me.

I finally spoke to Damon. He said he had been double booked, and didn't know (?) about my appointment. He apologized, and adding that "next week might work better for me."

The way he phrased it was annoying, as if he was doing me a favor to reschedule the job. I said that this morning would've worked better for me. It was also clear that the other job that he'd booked was more important than mine.

I understand that mistakes happen. But it was management's defensive responses that caused me to write this review.

Update: Blessings offered to "make things right" by rescheduling the job.

We have used Blessings for a variety of landscaping projects over the last 10 years and have always been pleased with the quality of the work. They have been very easy to work with during the planning phase and the quotes and pricing are very clear. They are very adaptable and will work closely with you to scale the project to your budget. They always show up when scheduled and leave the work site very clean. We now use them for routine garden maintenance every two weeks and are very happy with that service as well.

Our first introduction to Blessings was at the Portland Home & Garden Show in February this year where we met Rebecca. We visited about our landscape needs and she took our information to set up a consultation. We got a call not long after that with a time to meet with the landscape designer assigned to us. In about a month, we met with Roger Anderson to discuss our project and he said that he would have a plan/proposal for us within 3-4 weeks. Roger came to the house with a video, pictures of all the plants, pricing, and a plan for how the project would proceed - very impressive, but the best part was that Roger had listened to what we wanted and didn't want and came up with a plan around exactly that! We made a couple of changes in plants, but for the most part were absolutely delighted with Roger and the plan that he came up with for us!! He considered the different seasons of the year, as well as different colors and textures, and left room for the plants to fill in over time without looking all overgrown and bunched together! They had an opening in their schedule, so things moved pretty quickly after we got the boulders and paver pathway cleaned, which made a big difference in making the whole project sparkle. Installation took 3 days, with just excellent attention to detail by the crew handling it (kudos to Euclides Perez for his leadership!!). We decided kind of at the last minute to add lighting to the project and are very glad that we did!! That just happened to be another area of expertise of Roger's, so he hit it out of the park there, as well!! Most any project has a bit of stress that comes with it, but this one was four months beginning to end and we are just so pleased and it didn't really seem all that stressful!! For sure, Roger is our guy if we ever need any more landscaping done!!! He is just the best!!

We have a large lot in inner NE Portland, with lots of decorative beds and shrubs, and had a full season of yard waste from a massive black walnut tree, whose pods are incredibly difficult to manage. Blessing's team was amazing - worked with us to quickly define scope, negotiated a fair price, scheduled the cleanup within a week, and completed raking, waste removal, bed cleanup and edging, winter perennial pruning, and mowing in a single day's work. They were very responsive and came back free of charge to clean up a small area that was missed free of charge the next day. Highly recommended without any reservations - we will be hiring them for regular maintenance - rates are really reasonable.

Blessing Landscaping performed above and beyond our expectations. Everyone was a pleasure to work with. They listened to our needs, offered excellent alternatives if necessary, were prompt every day, responded immediately to emails/texts/phone calls when we had questions, cleaned up the site upon completion and left it better than they started with, were conscious of our neighbors lot lines and reassured our neighbors as well. We hired them back to winterize our sprinkler system and they came out the very next day. This is a close knit and family oriented group of experts. It was our pleasure to do business with them!
Today, Euclides Perez did an excellent job planting (at our request) two arborvitae in 100 degree heat. He was thorough, paid close attention to possible issues with the soil in that area, and made necessary adjustments. We are more than pleased with his service!

If I had more stars I would give them more. I had a major yard clean up. To put it simply it was out of control. My grass was overgrown, and I had black berry vines all over my fence. They came out in a timely manner with a reasonable quote and transformed my yard. Thank you so much!

If you're looking for a one-stop-shop landscaping company, then look no further than Blessing Landscapes! We hired this company to design and install an overhaul of our small backyard from a boring rectangle of grass to something we enjoy seeing and using every day. Elizabeth's design took into careful consideration our somewhat unusual requests, and was super patient with our many questions, and the result was exactly what we were hoping to achieve. Rick, Carlos, and Luis then installed the project in record time, did so with care, and made sure to keep things clean after each day's work. We were so impressed with their work that we decided to continue working with Blessing Landscapes for ongoing maintenance, and if we ever need additional landscaping services in the future, I'm glad to know that I won't have to worry about calling anyone else.

Benito and blessing Landscapes did a great job trimming the large trees and revitalizing my backyard. Benito really cared about the work he was doing and treated my yard as if it was his own. Thank you!!

Damon and his crew at Blessing landscape are the absolute best! They were quick, thorough, complete and professional. Moreover, when a broken pipe showed itself to be a casualty of the job, Damon and his crew came out within 24 hours to fix the break. Can't give enough stars to them!

I want to recognize the exceptional effort performed by Luis Sanchez to remove stains from our paver patio. Although we understood the stains were probably permanent, Luis staunchly persued every possible means to diminish the visual effect of the stain. To his credit, he did make a significant difference. Thank you so much, Luis.

Benito and his coworker did an excellent job replacing gravel and cleaning up landscaping. Very pleased.

They communicated with me throughout every step to ensure we were satisfied with the way things were looking. Ricardo stopped by several times to oversee their progress. We highly recommend Blessing Landscapes, and their entire exceptional crew!

They were extremely professional and there was a great deal of flexibility as the project developed and we changed some details. They were minimally disruptive to our lives as the project developed. We are quite happy with the results and feel like the added expense was worth it. Luis Hernandez was an excellent construction foreman.

The team at Blessing Landscapes did an amazing job with our landscaping project from design/concept to implementation. Euclides and José executed the concept with great care and professionalism and cleaned up after themselves each day of the 5-day project. Rebecca and Rick were a pleasure to work with as well for the designing and project management pieces.

Admittedly, this project was a bit over our initial budget, but the end product was very much a “you get what you pay for” and we’re happy to refer the Blessing Landscapes team to others.

Ignacio Juarez and his crew did an exceptional job in cutting back my wife’s lavender plants to her liking. This was after they did their normal trimming and additional request was presented! It added additional time but they took the time to meet the customers request with no pushback or how they needed to get to their next assignment! Solid work in eliminating the weeds and taking care of all the other plants! Thanku
