Edit: The company resolved the issue and finally made contact with me to schedule a service call. To recap: over two weeks I made two attempts to reach out and schedule - once via a webform on their website, and a week later by leaving a message with their answering service. I never got a response so I left a message here as a 3rd method of contact. It worked - one of the owners reached out and I had a furnace inspection, cleaning, and repair (the furnace was showing an error code) within 24 hours.

The service was excellent, the technician was extremely knowledgeable, and I'm very satisfied with the results. I'm confident the communication issue is now resolved.

Rose City Heating and Air has my business permanently after they impressed me so thoroughly with our HVAC install.

Our 20 year old condenser unit died in early summer and Rose City H&A had a diagnostic team out asap to get started on a resolution. From the start, Sterling inspires much confidence. He put together custom install plans for our new HVAC system in the basement of our home built in 1880.

The install team consisted of Scott and Ricky, who were both extremely professional and clearly experienced in their work. Their attention to detail is evident during the entire process, which results in an incredibly nice, polished installation of new equipment. Its immaculate to say the least.

I honestly couldn't be happier with the entire process. Everyone I met on this team: Sterling, Ryan, Ricky and Scott, was superb. You could not ask for a more professional crew. 10/10.

Ryan was great! Super personable and friendly, not to mention pretty fast considering he worked in two pieces of equipment. He also followed up with helpful pieces of advice moving forward with the maintenance of my equipment, which I really appreciate.

Very friendly technician (Ryan) who arrived on time and immediately got to work. He provided explanations and was able to get system back up running correctly. He was very thorough and I’ll happily be a return customer…just hopefully not soon!

My AC went out over the weekend. I called Rose City when they opened on Monday. They amazingly enough had a slot at noon the same day, and the tech was able to come out and fix the burnt out capacitor. We’re back to normal level levels of cooling… all within seven hours of making the original call. I have nothing but positive things to say about the service from Rose City. They installed the original furnace 15 years ago, and the AC 10 years ago.

Gave reminder before arrival, notice that he was on his way, and arrived when scheduled. Answered all my questions, provided advice on maintaining filter. Was friendly and informative. Was a pleasure!

My HVAC professional, Pat, was timely, quick, and very thorough in explaining the repair of my air conditioner and its associated costs. He was friendly and did a great job. Everything about Rose City Heating, from first phone contact to estimator to installation, was absolutely first rate. Quick, punctual, expert, and friendly. Excellent communication at every stage. I couldn't possibly be more pleased. They changed getting a new furnace from a big worry to a pleasure!

We have a 12-year-old furnace and a newer heat pump. After routine preventative maintenance, our existing HVAC provider recommended a $4,759 furnace repair. That seemed high, so I reached out for other opinions.

Rose City came out and suggested having a technician inspect the unit first before spending that kind of money. Ryan stopped by, checked everything thoroughly, and confirmed the furnace was working properly—ultimately saving me $4,759. He also pointed out inconsistencies in the original repair recommendation.

We own three rental units and will be signing a maintenance agreement with Rose City going forward. They’ve proven to be honest, knowledgeable, and customer-focused.

Pat was extremely personable, professional and insightful. He knew what he was doing and did it with efficiency. Also helped me by programming my thermostat and giving me insights into heat pumps. I was very appreciative of his service and manner.
