Did an amazing job of blocking the entire entrance to our building.

Using 2 vehicles, this company managed to prevent deliveries from at least 1/2 a dozen people over a period of 1 hour. Street parking was, literally, 50 feet away and their vehicle on the left was their passenger vehicle---they didn't want to walk the 50 feet. This picture is 2 companies that were not able to make their deliveries due to MacDonald-Miller Portland staff actions.

Honestly one of the best companies in Portland and Washington. Nathan pays extreme attention to detail. Very well organized very fair pricing, and it is very punctual and on time. I have had him complete several projects on various homes bath remodel and new construction and they were executed with excellence. Always cleans up after himself and leaves the job site better than when he came in.

I would highly recommend this company if you’re looking for any HVAC needs, or mini split installation, or air conditioning installation. They also install furnaces with ease.

I highly recommend this company. We had our ducts and gas furnace cleaned by them recently and they did a great job. They were on time, professional, and even took their shoes off inside the house. They also took the time to explain to me, a first time homeowner, what they were doing at each step and even helped show me how to properly install my air filter. We were happy with the pricing rates of their service also, as they charge per register rather than total square footage as some other companies charge.

We are breathing much better now- and we would gladly call them for service again if we needed it.

We were having repeat problems with trying to address dryer vent issues. We hired several other services in hopes of addressing the problem but to no avail. We found Eddie on thumbtack, and simply put, provided end to end service of the highest quality. He was able to address our problem OVER THE PHONE, demonstrating his depth of knowledge. It might be small, but he was the first contractor I have worked with who took off his shoes coming into the house. He treated his work as someone who is in someone else's home. The work he needed to conduct was more complicated due to the original construction, but he worked diligently and explained what he was doing the entire time. There was no additional cost due to the complexity and he even guaranteed the work he performed. Eddie thoroughly cleaned his work area after completion as you would expect from a professional. We also appreciate his follow up call to ensure the job worked.

We just bought a fixer upper house and the previous owners had dogs in it. Winter will be coming soon so we wanted our ducts cleaned. This company was highly recommended by my brother in law so we decided to give them a shot. I gave Eddie a call to schedule an appointment...he asked me how many ducts I have and what the costs would be. All I can say is...wow!!! Came on right on time as scheduled, told us what they were going to do and got it done. They were clean, courteous, respectful (took their shoes off in the house!! Wow!!!!)...And did a fantastic job cleaning the ducts. Never tried to upsell us or anything... Fantastic owner/operator small business. We will recommend them to everybody we know. Thank you guys!! Had Eddie clean our ducts on the recommendation of our neighbor who had used him twice. He was prompt and professional, gave me the game plan and explained how long he would be there and what he would be doing. I could not be happier with how he explained everything about the ducts and answered all of my questions. He went above and beyond pointing out issues and suspected a small gas leak. I called NW Natural the same afternoon and they came out and confirmed that we did indeed have a leak. We will def. use him again when we need our ducts cleaned and would recommend him to everyone. Excellent service. Eddie and his son arrived on time, explained approximately how long it would take and cleaned up after their work. They even vacuumed the slatted wood doors hiding the oil furnace that were needing it badly! The whole process was very quick and easy. I look forward to a better running furnace. Thank you!! Super happy with these folks. Eddie arrived promptly, did an incredibly thorough job. Did both the house ducts and the dryer. They went above and beyond. Moving things and replacing them that I should have done for them. 11 years worth of gunk gone,

American Power Vac did an amazing job of cleaning our ducts and we would highly recommend them to anyone! After the thorough cleaning they performed (pulling out objects that clearly had been in our ducts before we bought our house 17 yrs ago), we realized we had never truly had our ducts cleaned by the companies that we hired in the past. We would recommend American Power Vac to anyone and definitely plan to use them again. Great service provided and a great company; no complaints!

Ed and Zach did a fantastic job cleaning out my HVAC system. My House doesn’t feel so stuffy now I can breathe a sigh of relief. A far far cry from the little guys that showed up at my door with a shop-vac and a leaf blower. And I think we all know who they are. Comprenday.

American Power Vac is a family owned business. Eddie is the owner and he works with his son, Zach. They did a wonderful job for us. I reiterate all the glowing comments made by other happy customers. He understood our system better than we did and made a minor adjustment to the automatic air flow. He’s been in business for over 30 years. I so appreciated how respectful they were of our house laying down material for their duct work and removing their shoes and vacuuming up after. It was cleaner than when they arrived. We contacted American Power Van to clean outr 1907 home that's been modified many times over the years. The crew was on time and ready to go. Very professional and knowledgeable, explained the plan in detail prior to starting. Work quickly, and after a few hours, they were done. Nice crew, thanks, Eddie.
