Plumbing reviews in Portland, Oregon

Fergusons has a very large amount of stock and goes the extra mile to serve the Plumbing Community. Professional and caring they take care of the needs of our Service crews. Many varieties of fixtures, including Kohler and their own brand, supply is always fast and has in stock nearly everything we need as a Plumber.

Organized, fast service, well stocked.

Meh. A fairly well-stocked plumbing supply store. The order accuracy could use a little work, and when I dial the number to a local supply house I expect to talk to that supply house not a central call center in the middle of the country. Ferguson will do in a pinch.

Great staff. Was frustrated after visiting another similar business to try and seek information/ make a purchase for two upgraded Toto Toilets and Washlets. Worked with Chris Jr, even though I arrived nearly at closing time and didn't understand that appointments were recommended. Chris behaved as though he had all the time in the day to help me make an informed choice. He patiently talked me through the options in order to make a great choice. Let's face it, we hope we are not replacing toilets every other month so this is a decision you want to get right and be done with it. Thanks to Chris and Ferguson, I'm all set.

The staff at Ferguson especially Jacob Smith was extremely helpful. He helped us go through a challenging and detailed order with a few revisions of a product that is rare. Amazingly quick follow-up on every communication and I would happily recommend them to anyone else

Had great service from Shannon and Matt who went out of their way to get me the part I needed by a critical deadline AND a great price. I will be shopping there more.
[THOUGH if you go to will call for the first time try the north entrance off of Denver. I used the main gate per Google and got trapped between traffic and a 5 minute long freight train. Very dangerous.] -
Amazing customer service, especially for a DIY-er like me. On two days recently Craig Campanaro and then Justin Corzine spent at least 30 minutes helping me find the right hard to find parts - back and forth in the store, on the phone -- above and beyond. I would have been up a creek without their help. Good luck finding that kind of service at a big box store.

Every single time we come here, it takes a minimum of an hour. We literally picked up 2 things that they had in stock that my husband actually pulled off the shelf to make it faster, it still took 45 minutes and there was nobody else in there. I cant wrap my mind around what on earth takes so long. When they ring people up......its like they are creating a new computer program every single time to check people out.....that is how long it takes!!!!! The staff is very friendly and helpful, so it frustrating because its not like the entire experience is awful because its not.....its literally just how long it takes!!!!

Ferguson has to be one of favorite stops during my weekly runs. The staff is always very helpful and friendly even during busy times of the day. I know that when I go into the store I will be helped as soon as possible. I know my orders can be difficult but everyone up front is always patient with me and my dog Wesson. Would like to say thank you so much to Russ, Lu, Justin, Gage, Jake and Ben for being so amazing at your job!!! Keep up the great work!!!

Disorganized and outrageously expensive.
They charged me nearly $400 for a single 2"x10' copper pipe. Then, the next day, I placed an order for 18' of pipe insulation and spelled my name out to the person on the phone several times to prevent any confusion. When I showed it to the store, my order was no where in their system. Then, when I reordered at the counter, they tried charging me $75 for FOAM. How this place stays in business is beyond me. -
These guys saved my Life! Lived on N Mississippi Av for 15 years and didn't know these guys were crossed the tracks until my pop told me. Was looking for an individual faucet nosel that I thought was impossible after months of searching online. Heard about them and walked in assuming it was hopeless... Alas, there were 3 knowledgeable gentleman that literally took me right to the piece I need.... IN STORE!!! Lifetime customer after that interaction. Love y'all!

Run for the hills. The showroom has no prices and had their lights on dim. I asked "are you open?" It was a weird place. One person said something would cost a given amount and the next person charged me more. Pot holes, out of way dirty location, train tracks. Just nothing is good. A counter person gave me misinformation. A pro who goes here just doesn't know better A lot of pros are knuckle heads so it sort of makes sense. The odd thing is that it is a bit expensive and has a limited selection. I am going to take a hard pass. Everything wrong. Buy your stuff online and do h-depot in emergences. Also it is old fashioned. They sit on their computers and look into it like they are studying the Tora. Good lord - it is such a project in it's self.

You think you know what customer service means, and then you go to a place like Ferguson and feel like someone remembered your birthday when you forgot.
Thoughtful, expert assistance. You will pay less and leave feeling better than from any box store, do yourself a favor -
I’ve been shopping at this plumbing supply store for several years now, and it continues to be my go-to spot whenever I need anything for plumbing repairs, upgrades, or home projects. One of the biggest reasons I keep coming back is the staff—they're consistently helpful, knowledgeable, and genuinely friendly. Whether I walk in with a specific part in mind or just a vague idea of what I need, someone is always available to guide me in the right direction.
What really sets this place apart is the personal attention you get. The employees don’t just point you to an aisle—they take the time to understand what you're working on and offer thoughtful suggestions, often steering me toward more cost-effective or efficient solutions. Even when I’ve had more obscure or older parts to replace, they’ve usually had them in stock or were quick to suggest an alternative.
The store itself is well-organized and easy to navigate. I can almost always find exactly what I'm looking for, and if not, they’ll either order it or help me find a suitable substitute. It's rare to find this level of customer service nowadays. I highly recommend this store to both professionals and DIYers alike. -
I had an ungreat experience.
Called asking about a specific part and was told it was in stock and available. Immediately drove across state lines to go buy it only to be told that part was not available around here and would have to be ordered.
-1 stars, boo -
I just needed to get a part for a piece of commercial plumbing.
First I went to the store and was told they have never heard of replacing any parts and I should call the manufacturer directly. I contacted the mfg and got a specific part number and told to order through a wholesaler like Ferguson, who probably should have just messaged their rep in the first place.
I called and was told they would have to contact a rep for pricing and to give me contact info and they'd get it ordered but it might take a few days, then no contact for a week. I called again and they didn't have any idea what I was talking about, but took my info again and said they would put in an order. Another week went by with no response and I'm pretty sure they blew me off again. I tried calling one time but after about 30 minutes on hold I give up.
I ended up going to standard supply company, they took all of ten minutes to get the part ordered and sent me invoices. Apparently I'm not the first person that's had this exact same issue that they've helped recently. They're much more polite and actually seem competent. -
We had a great experience purchasing 300 feet of pipe for our project. We drove in from Vancouver. I was great by Sam/ Derrick and luscious in the showroom. They jumped on the computer to find my order, that only took a second. I was greeted by Josh outside on the forklift, very nice gentleman, that help us load our few items in the rain 🌧 with a smile on. I appreciate going into a place and getting taken care of in an orderly fashion. Thanks team Ferguson. You guys are the real deal. 😁

Local and responsive. Have used Burfitt a handful of times.

They replumbed our entire house a few years ago. Did nice work.
We noticed a severe leak in our underground sprinkler system, UNDER the corner of our patio. Two other outfits wouldn't touch it. Burfitt to the rescue! Should have been our first call. -
I had a very positive experience working with Alan and Amon. We had them repipe our home, replace our water main connection, move our water heater, and install a earthquake gas shutoff valve. He went above and beyond to find a set of tub faucet handles that would work with our very old tub - no easy feat!
Great workmanship, clear communication, fair price. I would recommend them to friends, family, or colleagues. -
Burfitt Plumbing is a high integrity operation under Alan's leadership. I don't t usually bother to review, but this is the third time Burfitt has been over for pluming repairs (this time for toilet installation and angle stop replacement). While no plumbing is inexpensive these days, Burfitt pricing is fair, and lower than many. Alan's apprentices perform well under his tutelage, and will soon be in a well paying, AI PROOF TRADE.
