Constraction reviews in Salem, Oregon

Rogelio and his crew extended our patio with pavers and added a turf run for our puppy. It looks beautiful and we highly recommend R & G General Construction.

Wonderful and professional! Thank you so much, everything looks incredible!

Rogelio tiled a bathroom shower for me. He was professional and did great work. He gave me an accurate estimate and had helpful suggestions about the job. I also very much appreciated how at the end of each day he cleaned up the all the debris and mess from the days work. The shower looked beautiful when completed. I would definitely hire him again for any home projects.

The team worked quick and did an outstanding job to make sure that we were satisfied. They went above and beyond, giving us great results. They also went ahead and did extra things just to meet our needs and expectations. We would heavily recommend and we will be letting them know whenever we need projects done around our home.

Rogelio and his crew replaced our fence and did a great job. They were very professional, efficient and responsive to any questions I had, in spite of how small of a project I had. It was obvious that he cares about making sure his customers are happy with the job he does for them. I hope to use his company again for other projects we have in mind.

We have rentals and our own home. One of the rentals needed practically everything. They replaced the siding from LP to concrete plank. Replaced a fence, refinished oak kitchen and all rooms. Repaired dry wall and painted all of the inside. The outside too after the new siding. There are numerous jobs they performed throughout the years. We sold this rental and all the interested buyers were impressed with the looks and quality. Sold fast in South Salem. We continue to call the owner for any work we need and have recommended them to our friends and neighbors. We consider the price of all their work very reasonable.

Rogelio and his crew installed a paver patio in our back yard and did a first-rate job of it. They were on time and worked very hard and very steadily. This was a couple of years ago and the patio still looks great and serves our needs well. We felt the price was very good and the work was very good. Highly recommended!

R & G General Construction helped us design and they installed all of the hardscape pavers and wall on the front of our house wrapping around to the back patio and beyond which includes a fire pit surrounded by a lighted wall. They also installed a state of the art lawn and drip irrigation system.
The crew were very adept at what they did, courteous and respectful of our property and definitely both jobs that they did for us were very affordable.

I never gave reviews. But I own them a lot. Amazing work with the patio, bathrooms, frontyard landscape, syntetic turf in the backyard, fence door, chimeney ceramic, etc, . High quality. I will say: artistic. Everyone that see their details are very impressed. In addition, the honesty and commitment in Rogelio is unvaluable. Complete trust. The value of my house was up repaying every penny and more of the investment. And living in so amazing house, after the remod, doesnot have price. Very grateful with him and his crew of professionals.

We have used Rogelio’s company for about 9 years now on multiple projects on our house and we highly recommend him! My parents, who had used him before on several projects, had given us his contact information. Throughout the years, he has transformed our house into a beauty! He did our backyard building a beautiful backyard patio from pavers, replaced our fence, has remodeled our bathrooms with beautiful tile work, was willing to come to our house on the weekend for an emergency call due to a burst water pipe in our lawn, and most recently replaced old breaking concrete in our driveway and steps leading up to the front door with pavers in a gorgeous and meticulous pattern. Rogelio and his team are detailed-oriented, hard working, friendly, and will produce an amazing final product. They’re our go-to team for our house projects! I highly recommend them.

Poor communication! Will never do business with these people.

Edit: Exactly! You didn't do any work for us. We had a meeting set up and just 10 minutes prior to the meeting, I called as a curtesy to comunicate that my husband was having issues with his car. You immediately went straight to rescheduling 2 weeks out but I wasn't canceling. You were still a good 9 minutes away and I called you immediately back with a solution to meet you. You didn't answer my call so I left a message that we would be at the house to meet you (still at this point not going to be late) I called again and you answered and said you turned back around and essentially canceled our meeting. So frustrating because we weren't canceling. It was a waste of our time, it was frustrating and it felt like you just didn't give a care. I did not appreciate the way this was handled on you end whatsoever. I have a extensive background in customer service and customer care and you did not show any towards us. We are new homeowners trying to get some work done before we can move in to our house so the timeliness is crucial.

R&G Construction did an excellent job repairing and replacing boards that had rotted on the exterior of our home near the roof top and around our porch. We are completely satisfied with the workmanship. After getting several bids R&G was the most affordable plus explanation of the job and what to expect and over all customer service was far superior then the other contractors. Will definitely recommend and will use them again for future projects.

We had R & G General Construction remodel our backyard. The project is fairly large and scope of work is very detailed. My wife and I had many concerns with ripping out the deck and replacing everything with pavers. Our property is on a slope and we had a lot of anxieties of many things that could go wrong. Our biggest concern is putting in a swim spa on top of the pavers. We met with Rogelio (owner) several times to review the project and he eased our concern and layout a game plan. Rogelio and his team were very professional and thourough making sure to ask my wife and I questions along the way to ensure we are satisfy. Overall we are please with the quality of work and the timeframe it took to complete this project. I would recommend R& G and use his service again for future projects.

My wife and I, we met Rogelio a long time ago, and we consider him a very good and trustworthy friend.
More than 15 years ago I think, Rogelio and his team have built us a very beautiful paved driveway...Since then we haired him for many other related construction jobs, and to this day, we consider our selves very lucky to know him, and to trust him w all of our projects.
He is very reliable, very detailed oriented and always going "extra-miles" in order to please his customers.
No question that we strongly recommend him (and obviously his company...), to anybody who would need to hire an affordable and very reliable construction company...

I am delighted to provide a 5-star review for the R & G General Construction work done at my parent’s house. The professionalism and attention to detail exhibited by the construction team were truly excellent. From the initial consultation to the completion of the project, the communication was excellent, and the work was executed with precision. The team demonstrated a strong work ethic, ensuring that the project was completed on time.
They are an awesome team! I am extremely satisfied with the quality of the craftsmanship and the overall outcome. The drive way was done beautifully and we keep getting complements of our drive way from our neighbors. I highly recommend their services for anyone seeking reliable and high-quality construction work.

Rogelio did a fantastic job on our small paver job. He came out quickly to quote and made up a drawing to submit to the HOA. It took a while to install because we were traveling. He worked around our schedule and got it in before the HOA deadline. His crew was friendly and helpful. 5 stars!

Great company to do business with! They are responsible, honest, & hard working. Definite would recommend them for any type of remodeling job.

I’m the type that value quality work and want things done right the first time. After researching, I ended up hiring R&G to do my paver patio. Another selling point for me was they warranty their work for 5 years. The access to my backyard wasn’t easy. It was sloped and the gate was too small to allow large equipment through, but that wasn’t an issue for them. The team took down the fence and rebuilt it after they were done. Overall, the team was efficient and got it done in 4 days. Rogelio, the owner, was very nice and address any concerns I had along the way. Also, I needed river rock at the edge and Rogelio offered to bring me the rocks using his trailer so I wouldn’t have to pay delivery fee. The paver patio looks great and the family has a nice hangout spot in the backyard now. Thank you R&G, I will use you again for future projects.

We engaged Rogelio and his crew to replace the defective original siding on our house, then paint the exterior of the house, and finally construct a patio in our side yard. Their workmanship was quite good as was their attention to detail. They stayed focused on our job until it was finished. We really appreciated that the crew was neat, cleaned up the area at the end of each day, were so polite and easy to be around. We are very pleased with the job Rogelio and his crew did for us and would not hesitate to recommend them. Many of our neighbors noticed the great job they did and have hired them to work on their homes as well. Rogelio believes in doing a great job and always does something extra like filling the planter he built on our patio with soil and then planting my jasmine for me.

They did a terrific job. My patio was a mess and now it looks like new.
Professional, curtious and affordable.

Would highly recommend and use again. Team cleaned up after themselves and tried to keep the concrete dust off our covered patio by using a blower which I really appreciate. The curved border along the path turned out great and was exactly what we wanted.

We have seen their work before. On those projects years after pavers still look good and no weeds coming through the cracks so we anticipate minimal maintenance. Yay!
