We have used Robert and his crew at 3 different homes, 2 bathroom remodels (wheelchair accessible), a bathroom restoration, kitchen remodel, and now deck rehab. Robert listens to what is wanted and makes it happen. They’ve always been professional and punctual, starting on time and finishing when promised. We definitely recommend his company.

Contacted Rencon earlier this year about redoing my back deck. One we had was 10x10 with standard cedar planks and a 3’ wide staircase.
Rob and my wife and I discussed several ideas, concerns, and a boatload of questions!
We finally got started in the hottest part of our summer this year. Rob and his team were in constant communication with status updates, price changes (due to things we added) and also safety of his crew due to the 100+ temps.
What came out on the end was way better than i could have imagined.

I contracted with them to repair and seal a foundation crack that had allowed water to seep into the crawl space. The foundation and footing were otherwise sound. The two representatives from Western were on time and worked efficiently. The work was estimated to take a full day, but they finished in 4 hours. They explained their process as they went. Their work looks great and they thoroughly cleaned the area when they finished. I'm very happy to have contracted with Western.

Western Construction Systems, what can I say...besides, “Awesome!” The crew of professionals that repaired/restored my 110yr old leaky and crumbly basement, we’re just that, “Professional!” This company’s attitude and work ethic harken back to a time of honesty, respect and responsibility, to the home owner and themselves, for a job well done. My thanks go out to WCS, Tyler, Juan and the whole gang for being, well, “Awesome!” I cant recommend them enough.

I had Western Construction Systems (WCS) install a French Drain then found the house foundation needed repaired. I had WCS do both projects. They arrived on time or early, didn't make a big mess, cleaned up after each work day.
Very pleased with how the crew got along.
I will recommend and use again if necessary.

Western is an exceptional company! Honest about work that is actually needed, creative problem solving, and amazing customer service. Hands down would recommend to anyone for their work. I’ve had experience with their work on crawlspaces, drainage work, structural reinforcement, foundation repair, and many more items. They’ve always performed to the highest level!

Ive had western do a few jobs in the past, and have been happy with the work,, which is why I keep coming back. This job was extremely disappointing.

I have let them know of my disappointment and have heard nothing from them for 2 weeks. I then got an email saying that customer service is extremely important to them and to please write a review. I wasn't going to, but since you asked, and I have heard nothing... here it is.

Your men showed up at the work site, said they were putting in an 8 foot beam, and not leveling the floor. A couple hundred dollars worth of materials and around 2 hours work for $3600. They finished and the dip remained. They said they were not to level the floor. Which was part of the point of having you fix it, who wants a kitchen with an almost 2 inch dip in it?

After they installed the beam, I spoke to tyler about leveling it, so they tried to shim it, and ended up having to dig out a post a bit, and resupport it. They then lifted it, the dip is now less, but because they kept all the original shims in place, there is now a hump near the fridge.

The entire kitchen was also left structurally unsound because half of the kitchen still sits on a single 2x4 as opposed to the beam going across the kitchen that tyler spoke of. Yes, the proposal states 8 feet. I didn't measure the kitchen, tyler did during the proposal quote, and he informed me that there would be a beam supporting the entire kitchen to make it structurally sound and "solid as a rock... it will take care of the mushy parts". Tyler said all the right things. Needless to say I feel like I was a victim of bait and switch, i feel taken advantage of, my kitchen is still not structurally sound, after I had someone come and fix it. I am extremely disappointed with what I was told vs what was done. As I said, I was extremely busy and stressed during the proposal process, and knew I could trust a company I had worked with multiple times with in the past, but mainly with the twins. This is why I find companies I can trust. I didn't even get a second quote, as I didn't have the time or patience to deal with it at the time.

They understood that I had a deadline due to selling the house, and fit me in quickly, we're on time and efficient. The crew kept me informed throughout the process and when the window wells were on back order they came up with a creative solution. Time will tell if the repair holds but I am confident that any fail will not be due to their workmanship.

I would highly recommend Western Construction Systems.

The work team was sent (by permission) at an earlier date than originally scheduled, finished nearly the entire job of repairing and resurfacing the foundation in one day, and it looks fantastic! My house is around 100 years old and the cracks around the basement windows had gotten big enough for rats to get in. It is such a relief to have this all sealed up and looking good. The only part they had to put off to another day was painting and filling in what may have been a coal access hole with concrete. While the estimate was made without knowing the scope of filling the hole, they completed it without adding to the invoice. The workers were excellent at keeping the site as clean and picked up as possible, so all that was left after they were gone was to walk around and admire. Ultimately the job was fulfilled in record time with great quality, and I'm very satisfied with the service.

I really think they did a great job. I would have given them a 5 star but they were unable to complete the job in 1 day as planned due to a miscalculation in staffing. They planned to have 3 guys and only had 2. This unfortunately caused them to have to come back a second day for a half day. This cost me an extra day off of work. The guys here worked hard and were very polite.

Work seems to have been done well. They did save me a significant amount of money vs the other bids. Overall really good. I would use them again in the future for other work but would make it very clear that they need to get the job done in the planned time, even if the owner of the company has to come out and help.

I normally listen to "Dragnet" after lunch, but I was so impressed with the whole process of my basement wall repair that I'll do a quick review and then join Jack Webb. 1. Bids. Scary. High $$$$. Discouraged. David A from Western calmly provided an affordable bid. He arranged for a plumber to do the prep work ( grateful for that---try lining up a plumber for a small job these days!!). 2. The work. Then his guys came. Gotta give Tyler and his men 2-thumbs up--- great work habits and carefully protecting against dust. Communicated each step of the job, even letting me know when they were heading off for lunch. 3. The finished job. Basement walls look great. Now I feel obligated to make the rest of the basement look as good as the new walls.
I'd strongly urge anyone with foundation/basement issues to give Western a call, at least have them come and check out your problem. They know what they can do and won't try and upsell you or their product/services.

Our house was built in 1938. The basement foundation was cracking with water seeping. Tyler was professional from the first visit to scope the project and give an estimate. He found other problems in our basement that had been hidden by the previous owner. The office staff was courteous and available for my questions and scheduling the extensive repair. The repair crew was knowledgeable, polite, and tidy. Tyler and the company owners cared about the work. The job was completed ahead of schedule. I would recommend Western Construction.

I appreciated the depth of experience and understanding of the basement leakage problem we had on our residence. They have years of experience resolving these matters and quickly completed the repairs needed. I would definitely recommend their business organization for any future repairs.
