John did a great job cleaning the moss off my roof. He did a thorough walk through when he was finished, explains everything that was done. He was respectful of my property, making sure that everything that got overspray was cleaned up. I will be calling Ghering Softwash to get rid of the moss on my primary home.

The process was very easy from start through finish. We went with the “platinum” package for moss removal. The main reason was for the three year warranty.
Cory arrived right on time and went over the steps. Afterwards he spayed the plants and patio down so the chlorine was dispersed. I appreciate the photos, and while he was on the roof he made sure to show and tell me where we had cracked attic vents.

Great work, careful and thorough, and the tech (Ismael) was friendly and conscientious. He really had to work on the gutters and helped me understand why they are so easily clogged. Looking forward to many good years with this roof thanks to Gehring.

After giving this company much grace and time to make things right, I’m providing my honest review of my subpar experience getting my roof and gutters soft washed. My house and yard were left a complete disaster for over 3 days before (after multiple delays) the manager finally came out with a small crew to finish the job spraying off the gutters and side of the house as well as cleaning up the massive needles and moss previously left around the entire house. I was promised a $150 Amazon card and car washes (both cars were covered in roof debris when they left the job) as a consolation- neither of which have I seen or heard about since. The worst part is the leak in my kitchen which has resulted in a dark stain all along the beam in my ceiling due to their crew spraying which must’ve been LOTS of water through my vents along the peak of the roof. I was told to let them know if there were any lingering issues once I cleaned up the mess. Since then it’s been crickets. I paid over $1200 for a job that ended up taking 4 days to complete and though it finally got cleaned up, I’m left with remnants of a leak. Each member who came out and who I talked to sounded embarrassed though had no problem blaming others. I don’t really care who did what, I’m looking for them to make it right. I will never use this company again.

***Update- they did at least reach out with a genuine apology and they did do a partial refund of $450 to help make things better****

I am not happy with the entire service. We hired them for a roof cleaning and moss treatment as well as a gutter cleaning. First, they came out to give us a quote and then when we called to set up our service, they couldn’t even find our quote or any record of it. Luckily, they still honored our price of $950. Fast forward to service day- They showed up an hour later than their scheduled time to be here (they did text to let me know this at least) causing us to not be able to be at home during the service (we had to be at an appointment we had originally scheduled later so we COULD be here but the hour delay changed that). Then, after their service, there was over-spray and pieces of dirt and debris from the gutter cleaning all along the sides of our house. In addition to that, the service was not at all what I expected. I was expecting moss to be removed but it was only sprayed and left to die and disintegrate over time. I felt this was not clearly communicated when we were given our quote. They communicated this after our service was done and paid for (because we called them to ask) they said that the moss couldn’t be scraped off due to it potentially damaging our shingles. Of course I don’t want our shingles damaged but I thought I was paying someone to clean the roof (as the website says they remove “any and all debris” and their tik tok videos show moss being removed). If I knew I was paying $950 dollars to have my roof only sprayed and my gutters cleaned, I would have done it myself. (They do offer a warranty to come out and treat any further moss for 3 years but that to me, is still not worth $950 dollars.) Now, more about the over-spray off the sides of our house- when we called, they stated the chemical was “safe for all plants and pets and was biodegradable”. NOPE. I have attached photos below of my plants that are now wilting and their leaves dying. No clean up was done on their part to correct the chemical getting on anything. It was on my front and back porches, my plants, AND all over our BRAND NEW $8500 central air unit!!! See pics below. I am so upset to the point that I am even considering filing a small claim to get some of our money back. I feel this was rushed, under-communicated, and unprofessional. I will not recommend this company to anyone.

A truly wonderful experience! Not only did they leave our roof and gutters super clean, they took the extra effort to make sure the rest of our yard/front porch (as well as our neighbors' spaces) were left clean. 10/10 would recommend!

Every part of my dealings with Gehring Softwash were great. The quote was reasonable for how much work we needed done. The technician was super prompt, 10 minutes before a 7am start time! We were sent text reminders counting down to the service, and when the tech was inbound. There was no mystery about if or when they’d show up. The quality of the work was great, and that 3 year guarantee is fantastic. Recommended.

Grant and his team at Gehring Softwash are outstanding at their job. They clean roof, gutters, and siding, and you couldn't be happier with their results. It will feel like you got a brand-new roof, gutters, and siding after they finish their work. They offer a great warranty. The two men did a super job cleaning my roofs and siding. They went hard at it the whole day, from 10am till 5pm. They did a great job of cleaning up the mess that came off the roof. The only thing that concerned me was that they didn't bring the water trailer. I was a bit worried about my well water holding up. Turned out not to be a problem.

Prompt with getting a quote which was fair for the work to be done. Work was done a couple of days later and roof moss is gone. Great job of cleaning up. Only thing stopping a five start review is the did not clean under the eves on the carport. The carport was included in the quote. It looks terrible compared to how clean everything else looks.

Communication was fantastic up to and including the day of service. However, they did not clean up the debris and moss from the roof and gutters as promised afterwards. An area of moss from one section of our roof was also missed. When we tried contacting them about it, they initially responded but no action or follow up was taken. We reached out to them 4 separate times for guidance on the lack of clean up and the residual moss and also included pictures (see below). Again, no response. Their 3 year warranty states that they will come back and treat any regrowth in that timeframe from the date of service. A simple acknowledgment of our texts and a follow up is all I was looking for. We are left with disappointment and mixed feelings because what started as a very positive experience did not end well. This review could have been a lot different if they had simply acknowledged our concerns and offered some reasonable solution. Very disappointing.

Great company and even better employees! Michael C. did an amazing job cleaning the roof and gutters. He cleaned up after and was very polite. I would highly recommend.

Tanner came to my home to give me a quote yesterday, very nice to speak to, explained the process and answered all my question thoroughly, wrote me out a quote which was extremely reasonable especially with the discount. Jesse came today in the downpouring rain and did an absolutely amazing job. My roof and gutters are spotless and all the debris that came off was cleaned up completely around my home. On top of that he went above and beyond and even cleaned my driveway and walkway because he said he had a little extra time.. NOW THAT IS CUSTOMER SERVICE at its finest!! I will be singing their praises to all my family and friends.. Great Job!! Thank you!

Corey was very personable, explained exactly what he planned to do. Roof looks great, he cleaned up after himself and gave me a list of "problems". I was very satisfied!

I can’t say enough great things about this crew. Grant, Corey, & Kevin were super responsive, and did a phenomenal job. We had our driveway and patio pressure washed as well as quite a bit of paver retaining wall. They also did siding, gutters, and our roof cleaning. The property looks so much better than before. I appreciate the professionalism!

- clean the roof (softwash)
- clean the skylight
- clean our concrete patio
- clean driveway and sidewalks

The root had not been cleaned in two years, and the north side was getting moss again. The patio also had not been cleaned two years.

Everything looks pretty good now.

All debris was picked up and removed.

Fantastic job! The job foreman came out on day of service and took time to walk the property with me and determine if there were problem areas or areas of concern. My roof looks brand new and it will be great to see how well the treatment works. It’s great to know there is a guarantee.

The job was done well overall, and the young man who did the work was polite and worked hard. Communication about pricing and service levels was a bit confusing, though. I asked the employee doing the job to be careful with my plants, but his hose still dragged over them and I ended up moving it myself and asking him again to be mindful. Also, the company should pay more attention to worker safety — he was alone and climbing from a step ladder onto the roof with no fall protection, which made me nervous he could get hurt.
