Adam and the guys were awesome to work with. Reasonably priced. They actually saved us a couple of thousand on the job we needed done. If you need yard work done including moving a shed please call them.

Adam and his crew did a great job with our yard clean up—we had piles and piles of yard debris, blackberry brambles and garbage that was too big and heavy to fit in our garbage bin. They also pressure washed a concrete patio and cut down some trees and hauled all of it away. This saved us so much time and back breaking labor, it was worth every penny. I would hire them again!

Adam is someone that can literally do anything and if he can’t, he always finds a way to get it done. Whether it be roof cleaning, hanging Christmas lights, lawn maintenance, fixing things around the house or just giving advice on what should be done he always does it with a smile on his face. I would recommend this guy to my own personal family (which I already have)!

Thanks for all the great work Adam!

Adam was very professional, prompt, did reasonably priced - but great work. He put up a wooden mantle above my fireplace that was quite tricky: installed keyless door locks; and removed moss/mold from my roof shingles and cleaned my gutters. I highly recommend Adam, and if I need more work around the house I will be calling him again.

Adam’s Exterior Maintenance did an outstanding job on our nasty, mossy roofs. These were steep pitch, moss caked, and fir needle packed roofs on our house and shop. They look so much better! I wish we had done it sooner but at least now I know who to call. Thank you Adam and crew. I would highly recommend you.

Adam’s crew did several landscape projects for us, including installing a flagstone pathway, placing landscape boulders, planting, edging and lots and lots of cleanup. He was great to work with all the way through, took the work seriously and did great work at a fair price. We will hire him again!

Adams Exterior Maintenance is truly a family business; the crew consisting of Adam, his brother and his father-in-law showed up promptly at 9:00 am. when they said they would. We had three tasks for them: 1) drop two fir trees, 2) remove moss from our roof, and 3) prep a garden bed where an arborvitae hedge had been removed. They dropped the trees first, safely roping and removing limbs before dropping the trunks. We had agreed we would remove the firewood, limbs and debris, so they went on to remove the moss from the roof. With safety lines on our steep roof, they wire-brushed moss off of each shingle, blew the moss off, cleaned out and hosed out the gutters, and finally went around the yard and cleaned up all the moss. The garden bed prep started when one worker was no longer needed on the roof. They removed roots, ground cloth, the remains of a drip system, and then edged and tilled the bed. All we needed to do was add soil amendments and start planting. These men worked very hard all day long and finished all three tasks within one day. They are all cheerful and pleasant, professional and very competent. We will most definitely hire Adams Exterior Maintenance again when we need their help, and I have already recommended them to friends and family.

-We have hired Adam and crew a few times now to help with our yard and clean the gutters and solar panels at the end of the year. The job gets completed in a short time and for a good price considering how hard they work.

-So glad we found Adam. He showed up early with two helpers and managed to get all the work and clean up done in under four hours. They cleaned the gutters and solar panel, trimmed some unruly hedges, fixed the fence gate and left everything looking so much better!

Adam and his crew arrived on time and started removing an old shed and fort. These guys are efficient and work hard to get the job done! They had it knocked out in 3 hours or so and hauled away everything. I am super pleased with the work and cleanup they did. Adams a great guy and works hard to make sure the customer is happy before they leave.

Thanks so much Adam for a great job! I appreciate the help...

I wanted to help a local business out and opted to hire Adam instead of a big company and it's because of business-practices like his, that makes it difficult for people in this community to want to trust and support local owners. Below is my experience:

Adam and his brother came to my property to do a roof moss removal. They brushed all the moss off the side of the house and left them on the ground. The process of this caused dirt and black streaks on my windows and exterior walls, they also left moss and leaves on the patio awning. They left in a hurry without cleaning up the mess and even left equipment behind. My tenant was not even aware that they had left because they did not communicate the job was done, otherwise we would have inspected it and let them know in person the dissatisfaction of their job. I reached out multiple times to request for them come back, clean the mess and retrieve their hose.

He also did not remove all the moss. He claims he sprayed with a moss killer but never came back to finish clearing them. There is a ton of green moss still on my roof, when I asked about, he straight up lied and said it was "green stains". I had another roofer come take a look at it and he laughed. He said that had to be a joke and that these "green stains" were living, breathing, oregon flower-moss.

Adam, your contract states a 2 year warranty. You said you would come back end of January to uphold that and finish cleaning the moss. It is now February. The original job was done in mid December.

I hope other Salem-nites find this review and do not support this scam of a company. My home was better off before they touched it. Local, shady, lazy, unprofessional, untimely businesses like this don't need to exist in Salem. I wanted to report them to BBB but of course they're not even accredited. It looks like they already have an unanswered complaint filed.

I couldn't be happier with the Christmas light installation service! From start to finish, the process was seamless and professional. Him and his crew provided a detailed quote based on photos, which saved me the hassle of an in-person estimate. The design was personalized and brought my holiday vision to life. My house looks absolutely stunning, and I've received countless compliments from neighbors. I highly recommend them for anyone looking to add a magical touch to their holiday season!

I have dealt with several contractors over the years, some have been great, and others, not so great. Adam's work falls far below par.

We had him perform some minor exterior siding and fascia repairs on our home in Eugene, and now I am forced to re-do nearly everything he did. We were not expecting perfection, however, we were expecting our home to be in better condition after the repairs. This did not even come close to happening. He left large gaps in the garage door seal (which i already fixed). He cut in a piece of trim to replace a rotten section around the garage, which does not even come close to lining up with the existing piece. He cut out a section of fascia on the 2nd story and very poorly replaced it with a piece that didn't come close to fitting properly, and he ruined our gutter section to get the piece in. Now the brand new roof we just had installed does not effectively shed water in that area.

If there was a way to rate zero stars, I would do so. We are astonished of how poorly this job was performed. I would expect this level of work from an unlicensed high-school kid, not a licensed "professional" contractor. Extremely disappointed, and I want my money back. Adam seems like a very nice guy, and I'm sure there are some jobs he can do well. But be forewarned, exterior home siding repairs are not something I would hire him for at any point in time. The way he left our home is absolutely not acceptable in any way, shape or form.

Oversold Skills on an Undemanding Job

I didn’t hire Adam for elaborate stonework or tiered landscaping. The project was simple: remove and level dirt in a few areas, lay bark dust along a fence line (with no trees or bushes to work around), install pea gravel in a small dog run, clean moss from the roof, and create a basic gravel-and-paver area for a fire pit. These were entry-level landscaping tasks that should have been completed cleanly, efficiently, and professionally. Instead, the execution was inconsistent and amateur.

The fire pit zone is misshapen and not remotely leveled, with a paver border that looked hastily placed. Bark dust was dropped without care or proper edging, and the grading left areas uneven and patchy. Moss removal led to debris strewn across the patio, lawn, and dog run—rather than being hauled away, piles and buckets of gravel were left on the lawn and on my neighbor’s property. Adam said he’d return for cleanup, but never did.

The only element that showed any craftsmanship was the short dog run fence—built precisely by one of Adam’s crew members, not by Adam himself. That clean, intentional segment stood out against an otherwise careless job that resembled a trial-and-error DIY attempt rather than professional landscaping. For someone who promotes polished results on his website, Adam’s delivery fell far below the standard. He's friendly and might be suited for very small, contained tasks, but this experience proved he’s not equipped to deliver the quality he advertises.

I recently hired Adams Exterior for my Christmas light installation, and I couldn’t be happier with their service!

The quality of their work was excellent, with attention to detail that ensured everything looked seamless.

I highly recommend if you’re looking for a hassle-free, beautiful Christmas light installation! I’ll definitely be using them again next year.

We are thrilled with Adam's work. If he promises something, he delivers! Quality work, punctual arrival, reasonable pricing, and completely reliable.
We hired him for one project as we settled into our new-to-us home and were so pleased that we've had him complete another five tasks. He's made it possible for us to move forward with the things that are easy and fun for us, inspired by his great work.
He's built a fence, installed ceiling fans, put up hardware, and more. If you need help in your house or yard, CALL ADAM. He's amazing.

Adam and crew did an excellent job installing our Christmas lights. Extremely professional and courteous!
We will use him for any household needs.

Francisco and his team do a great job with our yards. Easy to talk to and offers up ideas as well. We love JC Garden Care!!

    5

Francisco Juarez of JC Garden Care has been our gardener on our third of an acre spot for five years I have been pleased with his attention to this varied hillside landscape.
He has studied irrigation at Chemeketa and on his own about plant materials and often executes positive shifts in the landscape and hardscape. His advice on plant acquisition and placement is professional
He is reliable and has often come on short notice when plants needed to get into the ground in a hot spell. His helpers are as hardworking as he is. We find his pricing fair.

I am one of Francisco Juarez’s first clients and his lawn and garden care services are excellent. I have used other services in the past but none compare to Francisco’s work. His landscaping ideas are creative and he does an outstanding job on hardscaping. I also love his suggestions for plant purchases and their placement in my garden. His efforts have lead to lots of compliments on how beautiful my garden looks.

D&R has been taking care of our landscaping for years! Always courteous and efficient.
