Quoted way too much to just replace a fan and contactor in heat pump. Ended up doing it myself for 100 bucks. Easy job too.

I purchased a DIY ductless package from the heat pump store several years ago. I had a rather complex install of a multi-head unit and was able to save a significant amount of money by doing it this way. The system has run flawlessly for going on 6 years now.

Recently, I had them come out and assist in adding a third head to that system, as well as commissioning an additional system that I had acquired used.

The tech, Todd, was able to get both tasks accomplished quickly.and correctly. I had been quoted and had agreed to a flat rate for the job, but he billed as time and materials, which saved me a few hundred dollars. That sort of integrity is rare and will have me recommending them to others for this sort of work.

Apparently they do still offer the DIY package. If you are home improvement savvy, it's worth a look as it can save you a couple thousand dollars on a complex install. If the idea of punching holes in the side of your house, pulling electrical wire, running drains, etc is intimidating, it's probably not the project for you.

We have purchased two ductless systems from the Heat Pump store over the last 5 years and had very positive experiences both times. The first one I installed myself and had them charge and inspect it. The second system they installed. Ryan has great communication and all the transactions were easy and clear. Imo, they're a very professional team.

We love our heat pump (a Mitsubishi four head unit). Never has a home improvement made such an immediate and dramatic change in our comfort and pleasure. Thank you so much. Installation was fast and professional, and the improvement was almost immediate. I've told all my friends about the Heat Pump store.

Todd Parker installed 2 units in our home. He was friendly and efficient. He explained everything to us and made sure we knew how to use the system. I would recommend him to anyone that needs a split unit! Thank you Todd for a great job!

We had a Daikin mini-split installed in August 2015 during a summer heat wave. The sales rep was able to explain the benefits of the system as a replacement for ceiling heat, the installation crew was efficient and professional, and the service reps are very responsive. The system has worked great since it was initially installed with one exception, and the service crew was on top of it until it was fixed (under a great warranty)! Haven't had one regret about the heating/cooling unit or about working with the Heat Pump crew!

They did work for us and didn't submit the work to the city (we did this work in 2021!) and today we are finding out through the city that they never submitted the paperwork and permit to the city and now we owe some fees

Just be aware if you are doing business with them they forget to submit paperwork

I worked with Ryan Gregg at The Heat Pump Store on finding a solution to heat and cool an auxiliary building on my property. The unit they sold me is efficient, nearly-silent, and has made a huge impact on the comfort of my space. The day they installed it they were exceptionally prepared, efficient, professional, and left no mess. I would gleefully recommend and/or work with The Heat Pump Store again for any future heating or cooling needs!

I recently had a maintenance service, and Todd discovered a leak with the coolant due to a failed valve. Todd did the repair, and since the problem was discovered during the maintenance session, the repair was done at a really low cost. Fantastic service!!

I will never recommend this place to anyone, if you want to get bit by a white aggressive dog then go for it. Sad for business.Call before going in, or go else where.

They installed my gas fireplace insert five years ago. They don't work on them now if they aren't working properly.
