Went in looking for a washer, I was welcomed right away. They had a good selection, they were helpful answering all my questions. I was pleased to find out that the washer came with a warranty. I recommend them, thanks Hanks appliances

The worst business conduct I've ever experienced. This feels more like an appliance racket than anything.
Apparently store credit for this company magically depreciates because it's "been a while".
Won't be waiting my money here again. I emplore you not to either. -
As of may 2021 hank and his wife delores have retired and the new owners are Orlando Black and Jos'e santiago and they are operating the business under the name of Jo's Appliance.
Orlando Black is the person making the daily decisions for the business, but has failed to make it clear on any online platform.
If anyone has a positive post or a complaint i suggest that they contact the better business bureau, oregon ombudsman, yelp, or leave a review on line but please refer to Jo's appliance not Hanks Appliance because hanks appliance has no control over what Orlando Black or Jo's appliance does on a daily basis.
If anyone would like any information on Jo's appliance i suggest that they visit Oregon's small business online business registry -
Took the day off work to meet them at my home, they never showed up or called - when I finally reached out, he was extremely rude on the phone about why they blew me off. I’m a new mom, so doubly irritated that this was a waste of time when I’m desperately needing to use my washing machine! Waste of time and extremely unprofessional customer service.

He was great. Very responsive and got the job done quick. We appreciate everything he did. I will definitely recommend his business to everyone.

Was treated very well from all 3 ppl that helped me. I have not seen customer service that good in a long time. Had trouble with a washing machine and they diagnosed problem and had it fixed in just a couple of days.Highly recommend Hanks appliance

I believe there are new owners here that really don't seem to know what they're doing. I have an oven door that will not close and the technician just told me I'm not putting it in straight. Well I am and the oven door doesn't close. I have had four men look at it and they said the same thing. The place is not very clean. There prices on used appliances seem a bit high. I don't think I need to go back

Hank is amazing! He has been out to our farm on several occasions. Always on time, fast and gives us options. He really knows his business. Great find.

Hank solved the problem with my washing machine with a phone call. I appreciate his help without doing a service call and service fee. Will definitely call him again when need.
-
Hank was responsive, super accommodating, quick turnaround on repair, & fair price for the rapid service. Definitely my #1 recommendation in town for addressing broken appliance asap.
-
Very happy to work with Hank's team, diagnostics, getting to the root of the issue. And also being able to purchase and place a upper scale used appliance for a very very reasonable price.

Thus far, the machine we purchased was broken upon arrival. The door wouldn't stay shut. When we called to have it repaired, we were told it would have to be taken back to the shop. The machine was taken, "repaired" and delivered days later. When dropping off the machine, it was reported that the servicemen said it was broken because we were careless and were "slamming the door". The serviceman dumped it in our laundry room, stating he couldn't hook it up because he was late opening the store. The machine was also FILTHY with black dirt, possibly grease on it. (It was mostly clean when it was picked up.)
I hooked up the machine properly and went to put laundry in and discovered that the old part that had been replaced had been left inside the washer. I took the part out, put a load of laundry in, and started the machine.
A little later, the machine began to leak. Not a small leak, but a FLOOD of water covered the floor. It was hemorrhaging water from somewhere underneath the machine. We called the store and asked them to fix it again, but were told that they weren't going to do anything about it because they "didn't touch anything but the front" and mentioned that we "didn't hook it up right.".
Thank you Hanks Appliance Repair, for insulting my intelligence, and maintaining your solid record of horrible customer service.
If you (the company) are reading this, I challenge you to make this right. I may consider writing a more favorable review. -
Had to replace a verrry old refrigerator. Orlando was very helpful. Picked one out @2pm, had it delivered & set-up same day. Reasonable price. Looks good so far. Thanks.

Dishonest. Told me, my washing machine was unrepairable, that rhe baord had failed, but when i called another repair service they told me it was a sensor on the motor that they replaced and it fixed my machine. Either Hank doesnt know what hes doing or is too lazy to do the whole job.

These guys were great! My fridge went out and they came over ASAP and tried to fix it but had to order a part first. Took the people almost a week to get the part to us but as spon art they got it they came over to fix it. Really nice respectful and always explained what was going on.

I had been watching the folks at Hanks while they sat up and wanted to remember it because i was starting to think about a used washer and dryer. Yesterday 4/4/13 i walked in to a small but sufficiently stocked with what i was looking for. The woman came out and talked to me a bit, told me there price on what i wanted. For the amount of the machines i also got free delivery and set up. I have by now been looking for a week or two and i really just needed someone to sell me a set and take responsibility for its working for 90 days. Also, he stayed and ran it through a cycle before he left. I think if you were to go in and speak to the folks there, they will help you, and if you want a good experience, do your part. Ok Thank you people at Hanks Appliance. L.G. Todd

Bought a dryer from them. After a few uses it stopped working, hank came out next day to fix it. He was really nice about it and explained what happened. Its been working great since l and its been 6 months since we bought it. Will be returning there for a freezer soon. Thanks Hank!!!!!

This business is now operated by Jo's Appliance. I called early (8:40 am) I wasn't aware of their hours of operation. So I figured I'd call and if they're open great, if not I'll leave a message. He did end up answering only to tell me to call back at 9:00 am. What was unprofessional is, as I asked if he had the part to resolve my issue, and if there is a chance he would be able to help me? He hung up on me! I'm at total confusion why you answered the phone in the first place and then to have the audacity to hang up on me even when I thanked you and was polite to you for taking my call. Very Unprofessional and rude. Thank you for showing me your real side early on before doing business with you!

Love the price and the service, but their store hours are ridiculous. They're never there, even during their posted business hours, and they don't return calls. Nice people, doing good work for a fair price. Wish I could rate them higher, but I'm writing this sitting in front of the store trying, FOR THE THIRD TIME, to buy a stove from them only to find no one here during their stated business hours. Get it together, guys.
-
Paid the $150 fee and had our stove looked at. My husband and I were told that they would find a part and call us. NEVER heard back after that. It’s been months. We somehow managed to find a part even tho they were “so rare and hard to find” and fixed the oven on our own. Complete waste of money.

Hank and Juan were able to come and fix my washer and dryer on a Saturday, and not only that he came within two days where other appliance repair we're quoting me up to two weeks out! I'm totally happy with his service, and with the price I paid.
