We had an issue with our AC unit, which developed a leak even though it’s only three years old. Javier at Able Heating and Cooling went above and beyond to make the situation right. He took his time to carefully explain every detail to us in a way we could understand, and he was always available whenever we had questions or needed him to walk us through the process.

What really stood out was Javier’s professionalism and dedication—he truly cared about resolving the problem, not just getting the job done quickly. He made sure we felt informed and comfortable every step of the way and did everything he could to ensure our system was taken care of properly.

It’s rare to find someone so patient, knowledgeable, and committed to excellent service. We are very grateful for Javier and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him and Able Heating and Cooling to anyone in need of HVAC services.

Able’s technician Francis Masataka did a very good job at our house repairing our gas furnace. He was skilled and had meters and was congenial. We really liked him.

James was prepared, disciplined and diligent in diagnosing and repairing our furnace. One might want a sensor replacement to go more quickly, but the assurance of a correct diagnosis plus confidence the sensor failure wasn't a sign of larger problems, make everything about his visit entirely worthwhile.

Able Heating’s usually prompt communication about delays did not happen today. But once James arrived, the problem was resolved quickly, and additional system reviews were done. We are very grateful to have our heat working again.

Had tech come out to check on system after receiving an red error code on thermostat turned out to be a communication problem due to a brown out and nothing wrong with system so diagnostic call turned into a routine system maintenance call and then I decided to pay for the annual maintenance plan so that in the summer for them to come out and service the heat pump it’s already prepaid. James was very knowledgeable and gave me valuable information on what I can do to help with temperature issues in static rooms.

Jesse, James, Kevin, Andres, and Brandon led a team to install a new Trane furnace and Mitsubishi Heat Pump yesterday. They did a great job. All employees were friendly, hard working and efficient. They arrived on time and completed the install over several days. The new furnace works fine. I recommend Able Heating.

Brandon from Able Heating did a thorough diagnosis on my heating system and replaced a few parts that warmed the house up finally from 58° to 68°. Brandon was on time, efficient and courteous.

Our heat pump flaked out twice over the past several days so I called Abel heating. They were able to get me someone out within four hours of the call, same day! Brandon, the technician showed up, was competent and professional and did a thorough diagnostic test suite which he thinks has identified the issues.

Received excellent service from Able Heating and Cooling (furnace maintenance). Francis was very friendly and professional. Arrived on time, Worked efficiently and cleanly, and aswered all my questions so I would know the workings of the furnace. Excellent service. I recommend them.

Technician James McDonagh came two ahead to do a non-cost gas furnace inspection, very helpful verbal explanation and detailed write-up. James provides these services: 1) Installed Hot Surface Ignitor; 2) Cleaned Blower Motor & Wheel; 3) Put in new filters. Gas heat running nicely, no problems. Highly recommend services of ABLE for both heating and cooling.

I am super fortunate to have found Able Heating shopping for bids for my dual fuel system replacement. Louis was extra friendly and seemed happy to answer any questions and address my concerns. On the day of the install everything moved smoothly. Kevin, Daniela, Jesse, and Brian were kind, efficient, and extremely thorough putting in my new Mitsubishi/Trane system. I couldn’t be more happy with the installation and glad I picked this company and this team. Highly recommend!

We had three major HVAC companies come out first, all insisting our inducer motor needed replacement and quoting 5-8K, while aggressively pushing a full furnace replacement for 12-15K. Then we called Able.

They were friendly, transparent, and—because they’re TRANE parts dealers—told us upfront they could get the part at a fair price. They came out the next day. Our tech, Brandon O’Brien, arrived on time, was extremely knowledgeable, and explained everything clearly. He confirmed our furnace was in great shape and did NOT need to be replaced for years.

His quote for the motor and labor? $1,115 total.

He picked up the part, returned within 20 minutes, and had everything installed in under an hour. Professional, honest, and efficient.

Brandon with ABLE Heating & Air serviced my furnace and AC unit today. He discovered that my AC unit was extremely low on refrigerant so I agreed that he should add enough to bring it up to the recommended level. He was punctual, thorough, professional, and clearly explained what he was doing and what I could do. I will definitely continue to have them service my units.

Able Heating and Cooling installed a heat pump and air handler for my family and removed the old gas furnace and AC unit. The installation team was fast, professional, and communicated with me on everything they were doing. They answered all my (probably dumb) questions like they've never been asked that before and were extremely respectful of my house while performing the work both inside and outside.

From the quote process, Louis Wolf took the time to listen to my concerns and offered potential solutions to zoning an older ducted system. Louis and the office team met with me and helped schedule immediate install, as well as deal with any contract/quote concerns I had (timeline was compressed due to grant funding for a portion of the project).

The install took 2 days (really 1 and a half) and they had a whole slew of people to get everything done quickly and professionally.

Andres was the lead installer and was very helpful and patient. Day 1 they had Daniella, Kevin, Brian, to assist in removal of the old system. Since we were without heat, Louis came by to drop off a radiator for us to borrow.

Day 2 had the same group, as well as Joseph, Luis, and Jesse. The team ran the line set through the attic and minimized wall penetrations, they worked with me to make sure the routing of the line sets were aesthetically pleasing.

I don't write many reviews, but Able Heating and Cooling had a terrific team, and they've been a great group to work with. Again, the whole crew was professional, respectful, and extremely helpful. I would recommend them to anyone with HVAC install or repair needs.

Their electrical subcontractor, Elevate NW Electric, was also extremely helpful and responsive.

Luis and his teammate were exceptionally courteous men. They worked hard and knowledgeably with little of interaction with me unless necessary. They added some touch ups which made the end result look very nice. Good workmanship!
