My kitchen sink drain was super backed up. Dan Nelson came out and first used the snake with no success. He then used the hydro-jet and blasted out the 30 years of grease and egg shells that had slowed my drain down to a total stop.
Dan was a top notch professional and did a great job. The price was very reasonable. Zoom Drain is the only company I will call for all of my drain clogs, as well as drain maintenance.

Dan and his apprentice arrived within the time indicated and were polite and respectful of me and my home. I reviewed the issues with them as they inspected and then provided several options with fees to fix the problem. They answered all my questions before I chose the option that worked best for me.Then they began work, protected my floors, cleaned up and went over the fee again before I paid. Clog is gone and draining freely! Yay!

We needed to have a storm drain pipe repaired because, instead of draining to the street, the water would back up and make our gutters overflow.
We had two bids for the job. The first guy listened to our description of the problem and immediately quoted $3,000. That was a sticker shock! We’re retired and could not afford that price, even though this was a non-discretionary repair.
We decided to get a second quote and found Dan at Zoom Drain in Portland.
Dan listened to our description, then pulled out his camera system and snaked it down the drain until he found the broken pipe. His bid was $1088!
Not only did Dan complete the job at almost one-third the cost of the first quote, but he did an excellent job, having to dig through hard clay for 2 to 3 feet until the pipe was exposed. He cut out the broken section and replaced it, then tested it for leaks. By the time the job was done, the ground looked untouched. Dan not only fixed the issue, he filled the hole, and smoothed the ground, replacing the bark dust such that the repair was invisible.
Dan wasn’t just a miracle worker, he was delightful to work with. He’d be the guy you’d like to invite to a family dinner and establish a life-long friendship. Getting the job done to perfection is what you pay for, but working with someone who has such a great disposition is a treasure!

I was very impressed with how quickly the Zoom drain team was able to get to my house and assess the issue. The technician, Dan, was very knowledgeable, and did what he could to resolve our clog. The clog was, unfortunately, irreparable, but Dan was very open and honest with our options and worked with us to find the best solution for us. We were able to take his direction and fix our problem without it costing an arm and a leg. Very appreciative!

Dan Nelson came and worked on a problem drain for me and was friendly, on time, very knowledgable, did excellent work and cleaned up after himself. I would have given Zoom five stars but unfortunately, snaking then hydro jetting the drain did not work. The building is old and the old drain was plumbed in a manner that will not allow modern snakes or hydro jets to access the clogged area. Because he couldn't clear the drain, he did the work for half price, which was little more than what a lot of plumbers charge for just showing up. He also recommended a plumber who can re-plumb the drain, which saved me the trouble of finding another plumber. I will definitely use Zoom Drain in the future.

Great service on an extremely clogged kitchen drain. Caiden came out the day I called, assessed the clog, gave me options - lowest cost to highest cost, explained the pros and cons of each option and performed the service that same day. I appreciated how hard Caiden worked to clear the difficult clog.

Overall it was an excellent experience. Pricing seemed reasonable, no sales pressure from Caiden, and I really liked that there was no fee for him to just come out and assess.

Dan and the Zoom Drain crew did a great job. Was having an outside drain issue with my downspouts that was backing up and flooding into our crawl space. They came out on Sunday night and we setup a plan for Monday. A few hours in my drains were cleared out and we were able to mark them out, so I know where my system is running. Dan was great to chat with and knows his stuff.

Believe the reviews. Phil answered the phone and quickly got a tech scheduled on New Year’s Eve. He called back to report they were running late. And then checked back to make sure everything went ok.
Dan and Caden showed up within the original window time frame. Quickly assessed the issue (drain clog) and then quoted a very reasonable price. I did get another quote that was higher and couldn’t get anyone out until two days later. As the work was being done, they kept the job area neat and contained. Dan spent some time talking about what they found and made some experienced recommendations for ongoing maintenance.
After the site was cleaned up by Caden, I paid the exact price quoted, and off they went and my New Year’s Eve went along smoothly.
Thank you Zoom Drain, glad to know there is a very professional, friendly, and LOCAL company still around. Will certainly recommend to any friends/ family who ask.

From start to finish, the experience was excellent.
Dan Nelson arrived right on time. Before touching anything, he took the time to clearly explain exactly what he was going to do, what the likely causes were, what outcomes to expect, and outlined the next steps if the first approach didn’t fully resolve it. Very straightforward, honest communication that made me feel completely at ease.
The pricing was transparent from the beginning. He gave me a clear breakdown of costs upfront, and I found them very reasonable for the quality of work and professionalism shown.
He was courteous, respectful of my home, and clearly knew what he was doing. By the end, the toilet was working perfectly, and I genuinely felt like I could trust him with any future plumbing issues.

Dan was simply wonderful! Prompt, friendly, professional, experienced, kind - He drained and cleaned the washing machine clogged up pipe to the connecting hose, back flowing onto the floor, and reinforced the tie to keep in place. He ran a cycle to ensure it was fixed and working again, and all good! Highly recommend Zoom Care and will save the contact for any future emergencies. Our kitchen drain was barely draining and backing up a bit. I am so glad I found CT Drains. I was able to easily book an appointment on their website the same day which gave me some piece of mind we'd get it fixed quickly. Chris has great communication and is super professional, knowledgeable and clean. He cleared up our kitchen and basement drain quickly and efficiently. He also gave us some good tips to help keep our pipes running smoothly. Will definitely call them again if we have any drainage issues.

CT Drains is so great to work with. I found Chris online when searching for someone to clean out clogged storm drains. Super easy to make an appt online (which I appreciate!) Chris was on time and very professional. We had a rather complicated issue with water in our crawl space so he's been in communication with me frequently to see if it's getting resolved. (Another company is handling the crawl space issue) Chris has been out twice to help us get this resolved and I know he'll stick with us until this problem is permanently fixed!
