Outstanding service... I normally do not reach out to post comments, but these folks are too good not to comment on and deserve all the great reviews they already have and I'm quite certain there will be many more to follow. I already have recommended this tree service to all my neighbors who have not already used them as well as friends living in various places in both Multnomah and Washington counties. They are flexible and willing to work with a person and the job site clean up is way more than I anticipated. All workers we're top-notch and expert in what they did.

I scheduled an on-site assessment of some trees I wanted trimmed and pruned. Joe and his employee came by and were kind and professional. It seems they are knowledgeable and I have no reason to think they don't do good work. But I'll never find out for sure. I was ghosted after they left. After reviewing and discussing my project, they left telling me I'd be receiving their estimate in an email. After some days and not receiving their estimate, I needed to move forward with my project. I even emailed and said I'd like to consider them if they can get me the quote. Unfortunately no word back. Customer service from this company, in my opinion based on my experience, is trash. I hired Lainez R. Tree Service instead, who gave me a great deal, completed the job the very next day after I selected them, and did an amazing job.

Great work! We had 4 huge arborvitae’s removed from our small courtyard and a few other trees pruned. It was a big job in a small space right next to the house so I was a little worried. Two workers handled the job quickly and efficiently, then two more people came to assist with the cleanup.
Everything looks so much better, and we felt the price quoted was very reasonable!

They were great. They were the most reasonable bid, and they did a very good job with the tree trimming and shaping, very pleased.

Heard Joe Grab was coming to the neighborhood gave them a call the day before asking to see if I could get a few trees trimmed up while they were near. They stepped up to the plate, got my neighbors job done and my place done, and gave me a deal as they were already in the area. Their customer service was top notch, the crew was efficient and very friendly. I have 18 trees on my property and will absolutely use them again for my future tree needs. Difficult spot for a tree removal. Right on the fence line. Joe's crew was was there right on time and took down a very large Sweet Gum tree over 80 feet high,filling 2 trucks. Every thing was cleaned up and back in order by 4:30.

I've hired Joe Grab Tree Service 2 x for tree removal. They earned 5 stars both times. They got back to me quickly with a reasonable quote and the crew was great and very professional. They did a really good job with minimal disruption. I will call them first next time I need to have a big tree removed.

Joe Grab is extremely knowledgeable and his office offers great communication and customer service. The crew took down a gigantic dead tree for me as well as removing some smaller trees and pruning - did an awesome job! They were personable and professional and it was clear they take great pride in their work. I will definitely use Joe Grab again and recommend to anyone looking for a competitively priced professional tree service.

Well this my 2nd time with Joe Grab, That should tell you something. As before they arrived at 8am and were gone before 12pm. Took out and big Maple. These guys are the best.

The owner came over and provided a reasonable quote with options. A week later several other people spent several a few hours taking down and carting away a 50-foot fir that was a few yards from the house (overhanging the roof). Paid quoted amount online without issue.

I needed two 80 ft sugar pine trees cut down and removed. I also wanted the stumps ground down & the chips removed as well as this was in an area where we walk through often. The quote they provided was very competitive which placed them high on my list for this job.
The crew arrived 7:30/8am the first weeknin August. The primary tree climber on this job did a fantastic job! There 4 other workers to assist the climber and process the wood in the chipper & to clean up. I would have like a little better clean up but it was ok. If you need large tree removals this crew was excellent!

I was lucky enough to be able to schedule my tree job with Joe Grab's tree service company at the same time as my neighbor. This helped us save money on the initial assessment and being able to clean up both sides at the same time was helpful for everyone. The 1st day I had an amazing team I called the climber and the carrier. Both of these gentlemen were not only highly efficient but totally thorough, knowledgeable and professional about everything they did. I actually have to admit my backyard is getting sunshine for the first time, and it's so uplifting. The second day I had the same climber, but a different carrier, and I was nervous that it would not be as good as the first day. Not only did they meet all my expectations, but at the end of the day, every carrier and climber were in the backyard, picking up the final branches, right down to the tiniest of twigs. It's almost embarrassing that my backyard has never looked cleaner than it does today.
I had 3 estimates and cutting plans developed with 3 different companies before Joe Grab came into our lives. They were kind enough to review the prior plans and assured me that they too were going to follow similar plans of cutting hangers and deadwood, and thin out so that there are not problems in the future, for much less money. I can't even guesstimate how many pounds of material they took out of here, but I'm sure it ran in the thousands. They gave my little forest continuity and a very clean look, and they gave my house sunshine. Ice storm took a terrible toll on our church grounds!!! SO GRATEFUL that our paths crossed with Joe Grab Tree Service and this was a huge job. What a mess.
We had the pleasure of working with Justin as the lead. He was knowledgeable, professional and helped us problem solve when it came to options and best approach with a focus on making the grounds safe and cleaned up.
The crew spent every moment working and coordinating from start to finish. They were a professional and friendly crew of guys that worked really well together.
In the end our church grounds were made safe and they did a great job cleaning up the entire work site. The price was very fair in fact we got more than we paid for.
We/I would not hesitate to recommend JOE GRAB TREE SERVICE and will definitely call them for any future needs.

Joe Grab & crew leveled overgrown blackberries, cut down cherry trees threatening the house, pruned and chipped a large and messy plum tree, trimmed and chipped fir branches overhanging the roof, and hung lights on a tall tree. Easy people to work with who did more than expected at a good price.

I honestly felt such a weight lifted after Joe Grab Tree Svc completed the work at my home. The yard had been over-planted by the previous owner & this was a second overhaul! Joe Grab Tree Svc removed 3 giant trees, 3 arborvitae, 2 large bushes, pruned MANY large trees/arborvitaes, and ground so many stumps (from prior tree removals, too). I had been told a stump grinder could not access my yard, but they did it! I’m very happy with the pricing and a job truly well done. THANK YOU!

Joe, Courtney and their team did an outstanding job at my property. They safely took down a very large fir tree, ground the stump for that tree as well as another large fir that had been removed a few years ago, and also cleared out some smaller trees and bushes to prepare the site for my new home build. Throughout the process they were very friendly, knowledgeable, and took great care to keep the site clean. Their pricing was also excellent, especially considering the amount of work involved. I couldn’t be happier with the results. Joe Grab Tree Service is a company I would highly recommend to anyone!

We have been using Joe Grab for the past 12 years. Always professional, completes the work as contracted, arrives timely, and cleanup is never missed. This has been consistent over all these years. Joe Grab's pricing is competitive but more importantly, their work is thorough and thoughtful. Foreman always checks with me to see if they're meeting my expectations, and if something appears out-of-the-reasonable approach the foreman gives me alternatives to consider. I've had tall/large trees felled and removed, stump grinding, arborvitaes topping, bamboo root-ball removal and grinding (do not ever plant bamboo). You will be pleased with the results.

There was prompt service, showing up when they said they would and quotes given onsite that day. There was some concerns with the power lines that ran through the 2 large trees on initial day to start work that we ended up aborting the job until we could make sure it was safe. After that the owner came out on a Sunday with his wife and we talked through the job and any Safety concerns, no issues were found. In the next 2 days the owner showed up with 2 helpers. They proceeded and did quite a bit of Branch cutting and installing 2 cable securing lines to tree trunks for prevention of main tree trunk splitting/spalling off in a storm, they worked safely and cleaned up their mess, did not damage my property or the neighbors. They chipped all the branches with their chipper, taking all debris with them and were done in 6 hours or so. The end result was better than I expected it to be. I received a discount without asking for it, over the power line confusion on front end of job that set the job back a few days. The receptionist was very pleasant and responsive through the process. I wanted them to do the job Safe above all else and they did. The owner is a person of integrity, something that is hard to find these days.
Their main concern was that we were completely satisfied with their work, I was 100% Satisfied!
