They were great when booking the contract, but like every other community contractor in the area, once they have secured the contract they provide sub-par work. They sound great on the phone, and the workers can be bribed with doughnuts etc, but homeowners are not available every visit to monitor and supervise thier crews. They do seem like 'nice people' but crews do the absolute minimal requested otherwise, leading to safety hazards and grossly under-managed contracts.

I had been asking them to fix a broken sprinkler head and after a month I ended up doing it myself. Also my grass has alot of weeds and moss patches. I'll probably have to fix it myself because all they do is cut grass and leave.I will bring up replacing them in our next HOA meeting.

With a large account like Forest Heights Homeowners Association, you would think that BrightView would be at their best! The guys who cut the grass and maintain the landscaping are fine but the guys who maintain and oversee the irrigation are not doing their job! Many areas are not getting enough water and other areas being overwatered, also leaking valve boxes, sprinkler heads that don't work or are missing so on. Hopefully the HOA will look into and make some changes!!

They do an awesome job maintaining diverse landscaping areas and can handle any job no matter how big or small!

I have repeatedly called and asked them to turn on the irrigation system in a common space behind my home and they have not responded. The beautiful shrubbery and other plants are wilting and dying due to their unwillingness to have someone activate the sprinkler system.

BrightView has been replaced with another landscape company. The plants are now being watered.

I am on a landscape committee at a large HOA community. We have been using Brightview Landscaping for a few years now. They do a good job of taking care of our communities landscaping. We have many gardens, trees and grassy areas throughout the community. They handle all the up keep of the property as well as the irrigation system.
We are fortunate to have an account manager from Brightview named Cesar. He has been very responsive to any issues that pop up. He keeps in close contact with me , as I am the lead for the committee. When he sees a problem or something that may become a problem, he contacts me so we can discuss the best course of action going forward.

I’ve enjoyed working with BrightView on behalf of my condo HOA for a decade now. Our account manager, Craig, is professional, knowledgeable and always responsive. We’ve appreciated continuity of crew leads who have gotten to know our hillside property and take pride in keeping it beautiful. On rare occasion lapses have occurred, BrightView leadership has engaged, visited and remedied. We look forward to years of partnership ahead!

Genuinely atrocious service. I only have to deal with them because my HOA won't hire anyone else. They damaged my wife's plant, despite there being no reason for them to touch it. Then dropped off a random plant on our front lawn, then took it back before I even responded to them. They spray pesticides even when we ask them not to. They only do their job when my neighbors complain about them on the community board. They run leaf blowers all day even when no leaves are on the ground. When the leaves do fall, they let it sit for weeks on end until someone publically complains. They can't even maintain our tiny lawn that is smaller than most bedrooms. We asked them to remove dead shrubs that they let die, and they cut one of them and left all the roots in place. They charge insane rates that go up every year, and not a little. They've quintupled their prices in the last seven years. I have no idea what we pay them for.

The team at Brightview are good at their job, but mostly, they are great at meeting humans at a human level. They know we are real people, with real concerns and real needs to be met. Their job to beautify our surroundings brings pride of homeownership and the feeling one gets when the sun comes out. Keep smiling, and choose BRIGHTVIEW LANDSCAPES.

Brightview has provided Landscaping Services to our community for the past 3-4 yrs. I really appreciate their efforts at positive communication, suggestions for areas of landscaping improvement, and quick response to our communities needs. Cesar Del Cid is very responsive when issues arise and he is greatly appreciated.

I have had the opportunity to work closely with Craig, the account manager supporting one of our Portland assets. Craig has been extremely proactive, consistently looping myself and the PM team in on projects to help ensure the tenant is maintaining the property properly.
Each month, he provides detailed updates with photos highlighting completed work, areas needing attention, and overall condition of the site.
Notably, Craig has helped bring this site from poor condition to a well maintained, attractive site over the course of a couple of seasons.
Based on my experience, Craig has done an excellent job and continues to do so.

After an exhaustive search to find the best landscape service for a 50+ year old, seven acre campus, we met Brightview! It is an ongoing, collaberative effort to address the old vegetation, create an aesthetically pleasing and welcoming environment.

My name is Glenn Whipple. I am the current President of Conifer Park HOA. I want to take a minute and share our experience we have had this last year contracting with BrightView Landscaping. Excellent service, beyond what we expected for the price of the annual contract I signed. This company is truly professional and conscious of our needs and committed to ensuring we are satisfied with the care and maintenance of our property. The service manager, Craig Broberg, personally takes time each month to reach out to me asking if we are satisfied with service or any other needs or concerns we have. The company truly cares about their customers.

We have 2 large green spaces and a playground. We also have about a mile of asphalt walking paths. Many trees with leaves….after all our HOA is called Conifer Park. There is a lot of work here keeping the streets cleaned and the parks groomed, just to mention a portion of what they do here. I have never had a complaint. We actually get more service than what is expected with our contract agreement. And the price….unbelievably astonishing! I have gone through 4 landscaping contractors and by far BrightView has been the best. I am sure residential residents get the same service as commercial service. A truly great company. I see us have a long standing relationship for many years.

We’ve been working with Brightview for 3 years now. We’ve had very good communication, reasonable pricing, really good resolution of issues we’ve had on our property and quick responses. We’ve have multiple areas redesigned and replanted. Our common spaces in our neighborhood are mowed, and edged and blown weekly except in the winter. Cesar has been incredible to work with and is always willing to come out and do walk throughs in the neighborhood. We lost Cesar for a brief time on our property and were thrilled to have him back. He’s knowledgeable, extremely professional and truly cares about his properties. We trust his opinion and knowledge. If we have any issues, he’s quick to resolve them.

I’ve worked with executive staff at Brightview when they have had turnover and they were great about working with us until we had our neighborhood landscape stable and beautiful with the transition.
