The repairman could not communicate with us,they charged 70$ to take a picture and the price was outrageous for an icemaker.
Technician was consummate professional! Explains very well the issue in layman's term and provides repair options. Fridge fixed!!
This place is a scam! It's most likely not even a real repair business, just a scam to get your credit card information. They call you from a very poor reception cell phone line, claim to be "local" yet seem clueless about the neighborhood street names, then ask you for your credit card number over the phone in order to book your appointment to receive a consultation and estimate. Big red flags. Furthermore, they won't disclose their last names or address. They claim to have a website for a business of a different name, The Appliance Repairman, which is down. The one page I found related to The Appliance Repairman is an obviously scammy looking page with phony looking reviews/testimonies that contain a consistency of grammatical errors and content irrelevant to repair service. After I called out a guy today on this and then alerted the police department in my town about this scam, some foreign sounding dude called me hours later from a 1-877 number for this "business". He told me that in order to continue with my appointment, I must provide him my credit card number NOW. I chose to instead string him along while asking him questions about his website and business, just for my own amusement, then I called him out on his obvious lies and deception. Also, look up the Better Business Bureau profile on this "company": even BBB claims that they cannot locate the business's address! Do not use them. Check it out. They were the first company to provide a technician named Philip when our freezer and fridge broke down. Long story short, Philip the technician came, was very ignorant, belligerent, and condescending to myself (a woman) and the homeowner (also a woman). We called the office to report his behavior and they called him. Philip had a temper tantrum, refused to do the work and left our house. If you're looking for timely yet incompetent service, this is the place for you.
I scheduled an appointment, I was told I would receive a call before 9 a.m. on the day of my appointment to give me a more specific time of their arrival. The day of my appointment I received a call at 9:20. Informing me that the repairman was not going to be able to come and do my repairs. I rescheduled for the following Saturday. I informed the repairman that I would be available from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. . That I had a birthday dinner to attend for my father-in-law. I waited until 3:30 , and had to leave. When I return home at approximately 7 p.m. there was a sticker on my door knob from the repairman. I guess to show that he had been there. I have not received a phone call from them to reschedule. Not that I would reschedule again with them.
I purchased an LG washer/dryer tower from Lowe’s 4 weeks ago. The dryer portion stopped producing heat. It took me 4 calls to LG before I was able to get a technician out. The original technician worked for a company in Brooklyn NY. The time slot was from 1pm to 6. Technician arrived at 830 pm without any notice that he was arriving late. He did some troubleshooting for about 30 minutes just to say he didn’t have parts on hand. I contacted LG again and they sent a request to Dosyak in Bristol. They notified me early the next day and followed up with a phone call. The technician named Oleh was a true professional… arrived on time, very courteous, easy to talk to and no nonsense . He fixed the problem in a timely manner. I would definitely recommend this company and tech. Thank you!
