I have called Transformation Electric three times so far. Everything about my experience has been great. The service, from scheduling with Kristin to the actual work done by Bryan, was fantastic. I have scheduled normal repair work and emergency work and both exceeded my expectations. Byron was really thorough and made great recommendations for my consideration. He is friendly and is always willing to answer my questions or provide additional ideas. His work is need and the job site is exactly as he found it when the job is finished. Transformation Electric sends reminders of my appointments and gives me a call prior to arrival. I will call them every time I have electrical needs!

I highly recommend Transformation Electric! They put a new main panel in, rewired a majority of my home which was Knob and Tube originally. They were fair-priced, professional, respectful. I felt comfortable with everything they did. They were efficient and very careful not to disturb the plaster and aesthetics of the home. Bryon was very responsive to any questions / follow up and explained every detail, he really knows his stuff! Communication was phenomenal and Kristen responded to every question in a timely manner. I plan to use them for my electrical needs going forward.

I have used Steve Bohn several times for various electrical projects. He is very knowledgeable, professional, and easy to talk to. He does really good work. I have not had any problems with any of the electrical projects Steve has performed. I am well satisfied with Steve's work. I give Steve a 5-star rating.

We really enjoy working with Transformation Electric, last year (2019) we were having a few issues in our older home and needed some updates. We had called a couple places and were disappointed, they didn’t show up for the estimate or it would be outrageous. I can’t remember how I had heard of Transformation Elec., but I called. Kristen was super friendly when scheduling and Chris showed up- on time! He explained what needed done in layman’s terms and why. Was very thorough and knowledgeable. The owner Steve was helpful and friendly as well when Chris needed a hand. They were here for a couple days (it was a big project) but they felt like friends by the end of the week. I bought their low priced maintenance plan and just had my home inspected today. Totally worth the peace of mind! I would highly recommend them and have to family and friends.

I called Comet to install a transfer switch for my backup generator to use during power outages. Steve and Rich arrived around 8am. While out, they also installed a new electrical panel, surge protector, and electric meter as my house needed updated. All work was done by about 5pm. I felt that the price I paid for their services was more than fair for all of the work they completed. My house is ready for anything I may want to power now and in the future. I am also setup to use my backup sources when West Penn Power has their next multi-day outage. I highly recommend Comet if you need electrical work done at your home!

We were having power issues in our house and was able to find Transformation Electric. Kristen was excellent at explaining everything over the phone and getting everything ready so that Steve could complete the work on our house. I thought the pricing was very reasonable considering that we had to have a new service and meter put in.
Steve was at the house on time and started promptly and the work done in a timely manner.

Comet has done work for us several times over the years, including rewiring our home from Knob & Tube to Romex, and they only had to cut two small holes in the plaster (all for less money than another electrician who proposed cutting channels in most of the walls). They're always phenomenal to work with, and consistently go above and beyond. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for an electrician.

Steve and his team are top-notch professionals. Kristen in their office was extremely helpful, staying in communication with us regularly leading up to our scheduled appointment. Steve and his crew were on-time (a bit early, if fact!) and our repairs were done in less than 2 hours. They took time to clean up afterwards, which is a welcome change from other contractors we've used. Their attention to doing the "little things" right is what separates Transformation Electric from other "run-of-mill" electrical contractors, IMO.

Though Transformation's repair costs are a bit higher that what we've typically paid to other "handyman" electricians in the past, it was more than worth it for the added "peace of mind" we get. There is comfort in knowing that our electrical repairs were done correctly by certified & trained PROFESSIONALS who stands behind the quality of their work. "Price is merely what we pay...VALUE is found in what we get!"

I have been using help from them for years, before they rebranded to be Comet. Name changed, but the service has not - great all the time! No hidden fee or anything. Technicians get things done quickly and are willing to work with my home warranty. Highly recommend!!

I was surprised that I could schedule electric service between the Christmas and New Year holidays. Comet Electric agreed to come for an estimate to fix a couple wall outlets and add 3 new outlets, 1 inside and two outside. Steve arrived at the agreed time Dec. 26. After giving me a fair quote he was able to complete the interior work that day and will return at a convenient time to do the outside work. This was the second time that Comet provided professional electric services for me. I definitely will use them again.

We had an excellent experience with Comet Electric. Steve came at the times promised and worked hard and creatively to find what was causing some very annoying and potentially unsafe electrical issues that were hard to isolate. We strongly recommend this company (and Steve!) and will use them again when we need an electrician.

We had a second excellent experience with Comet. Steve came back to repair some fixtures that were only accessible when the roof was being replaced. He coordinated his visit with the roofers. He also determined that one cause of dimming lights in an office was overloading of one circuit in the room by a printer and other apparatus. He suggested a fix for this that worked.

We had a third excellent experience with Comet. Steve came and determined that small electric shocks we had experienced were not from defects in our electrical system but from other, not serious sources. He suggested ways to mitigate them.

Again, we strongly recommend Steve and Comet Electric!

My experience with Comet Electric was great! Kristen was very knowledgeable, flexible and handled all the pre work wonderfully. Steve installed an EV charger in my garage was so patient, and informative and waited with me as we tried multiple times to connect to the wifi until we were successful. I would hire this crew again and again!

Upon contacting Comet Electrical due to an emergency, I experienced nothing but professionalism from start to finish. Their office personnel reacted immediately to my situation and had electricians sent to my home within a few hours. They were extremely proficient & knowledgable. I would highly recommend them.

Comet Electric was fantastic to work with. They came in to run new circuits, fix wiring, install new lights and even put in a new subpanel for future renovations. They did all of this work quickly, efficiently and left no mess when they were done. The cost was also 100% worth it for the high quality work that they did! I will definitely be calling them again for any future work I need done on my home!

We needed an upgrade to 240v in our garage. Also had a light flickering issue in the house. Called Transformation Electric and got an immediate response from Kristen (a human who actually answers the phone!). Steve came out quickly and gave a very thorough review of our wiring system, made recommendations for options, and gave a complete estimate. The work was scheduled quickly. Steve and Brian did a fantastic job fixing wiring issues at our main fuse box, installing the new 240v upgrade entrance box with conduit and outlets where needed, and installing a new service line to our house also fixing a grounding issue. They noted a problem at the main transformer and contacted the electric company on our behalf to facilitate repair of their transformer. Transformation Electric was on-time, courteous, professional and did a very neat and complete job. We highly recommend them and will be using them for all our future electrical needs.

Everyone from Transformation Electric was great to work with from scheduling with Kristen and working with the electricians Bryon and Alex. They upgraded my old fuse box and rewired my whole house in 7 days. I was very impressed with all the work they did including all the extra stuff that I requested while they worked. They made as little holes as possible and filled a lot of them which was a bonus since the other quotes I received did not include filling the holes and was told I would need to have a contractor come in after they were done. They even put in an exhaust in my bathroom and ran the exhaust line to my attic so all my step dad had to do was cut the hole to the outside for the vent. They honestly went above and beyond and I highly recommend them.
