We contacted Comet to have some wiring, and our breaker box checked. They responded quickly, and Steve came quickly. He checked everything out for us. He was very friendly, honest, and a good electrician. When/if we need an electrician in the future, we'll be sure and call them. I highly recommend them!
Edit: We had Steve install a Generac generator for us last week (June 12, 2024). He and his helper were on time, did a great job, and the price for everything was fair, we thought. He had been here a couple of years ago, when we had no water. He figured out the problem, pulled the pump out of our well, and re-wired it. We'll continue to use Comet Electric!

Steve did great work. I had a variety of electrical and lighting issues around the house and he was able to quickly identify the source of the problems and make the appropriate repairs. Everything turned out great. I highly recommend Comet Electric.

This was our first time using Comet Electric's services, and we were very pleased with all aspects of the process and work done. Steve was on time, performed the work exactly as we had discussed/agreed upon, and left all work areas clean and tidy. Steve was also very professional during the initial visit and during the visit to perform the work. All in all, we are very pleased with our experience with Comet, with Kristen (office) and Steve our electrician and would not hesitate to use them again or recommend them to family or friends. Very pleased!!

Maybe would use again, not so sure. The technician was a nice guy. He told me my husband had put the wrong bulbs into the fixture (my husband is deceased on 11/14/24). He told me which bulbs to purchase which was extremely helpful. I paid him $100 for this advice. When the bulbs arrived, one of the wall fixtures works just fine, but the other one is still not working correctly despite the correct bulb. I will not call back for more help.

Have been using Comet Electric for many years. Most recently we had them replace our kitchen light fixtures. They installed the lights in no time. They did a great job! Love my new lights. They provide great service for a great price. In the past we had them install a 220 line, outdoor lighting fixtures, and a foyer light fixture. Will definitely use them for my next electrical job. Highly recommend if you are looking for a reliable and reasonably priced electrician for any electrical needs.

Great company, Steve was an awesome technician. He was super professional, detail oriented, fast, and listened to what I needed done and answered all of my questions before starting the job. The price was very competitive but the service and quality was out of this world. Will definitely be using Comet again!

I heard about Comet Electric through a friend who had work done at her house. She could not sing their praises enough! When they showed up at my house to do the initial inspection, I could see why. Steve from Comet Electric was great! From a detailed estimate that was clear, to answering questions quickly, to doing great work including 2 car chargers, running lines through brick walls, improving the service to 300A, adding outlets - it was a big job with a lot of work. The best part is that the price came in under the estimate, reflecting the actual work needed. I can't recommend them enough!

Steve from Comet Electric did a great job for us. We needed substantial rewiring as part of our kitchen remodel. Comet gave us a fair price, and was easy to schedule. Steve showed up as planned, I reviewed the scope of work with him and he went right to work. We discussed all of the scope changes and agreed prior to him doing the work. The work was professional, orderly and done on time. We would highly recommend Comet.

I have used Comet Electric for many years and would highly recommend them to anyone that would ask for an electrician. Steve is alway professional and his work is efficient and reasonably priced. He recently installed three light fixtures for us and everything looks wonderful.

Would not recommend. Last fall Comet Electric put in an outlet for my framed in dishwasher and billed us for installing it under the kitchen sink. Last night the dishwasher quit working and I went searching for the outlet. I looked in every cabinet but didn’t have the tools handy to demo the counter and pull out the washer. Today I called Comet so they’d tell me where the plug is. The owner had an incredibly caustic tone and was annoyed that I’d made multiple attempts to contact her. She claimed that the dishwasher didn’t need an outlet and the power was run directly from its own breaker (half of that is true). Thankfully I know enough that I told her not only should it have an outlet, it should be Readily Accessible according to code. She sarcastically responded “Well thank goodness YOU’RE the electrician.” She then said she’s “only a secretary” and doesn’t know the electrical side of things. After calling her husband, she let me know that the outlet is behind the dishwasher, which is not Readily Accessible and yet another lazy decision this guy made and billed us extravagantly for (like using surface mounted outlets and wire mold to replace existing work).

At one point she mentioned that she’s a busy person and is a mother, secretary, church goer, business owner etc. I’ll be praying that her church will teach her and her husband the value of honesty 🙏🏼
