My A/C quit in the middle of August, of course. I called and a tech. came within few hours. The whole unit needed changed and they were able to do it 3 days later. Very professional and quality workmanship.

April 18, 2022 called Rob Peter's around 3:00 p.m. explaining to him that the thermostat was registering at 80 degrees and the heat wouldn't go down even though I lowered the heat to 60 degrees. He had two men stop by at 3:30 p.m. on the way back to the shop. It was an easy fix just needed a new thermostat.

I was glad that the men stopped by that day because the heat was so unbearable. Thanks again Rob for the prompt service.

I couldn’t be happier! I called Peters in the morning and they was here 45 minutes later! I wish I knew the young man’s name that fixed my water heater. He was so nice, took the time to explain what he had done and why he had done it. You can trust that you’re not going to get ripped off with Peters. He fixed my water heater by replacing a $15.00 part..Thank you so much!

I just recently moved into a house that Peter's installed the system. They were great on the fall checkup and when we had an issue, they were there within 3 hours. Techs were great and the owner was very accommodating. I would highly recommend.

Good service at a fair price! Which is so hard to find when it comes to specialty trades. $210 to come out and replace thermostat. That includes the the cost of thermostat itself. We had Kennihan Plumbing & Heating, Inc. come out first just because they had called us back first, and wanted to charge $550-600 for the exact same job!

The installation crew was efficient and phenomenal. Kyle Jeremy and Caleb knocked it out of the park. They even were caring enough to educate and inform our 4 year old of what and how things worked. Not that I want to buy another furnace anytime soon but if I could give more than 5 stars I would.

I have used Peters numerous times for service on our furnace or AC. They are super responsive, usually arriving the same morning. The technicians are very friendly and knowledgeable. They do not try and upsell you like most HVAC companies do, but just perform the necessary repairs. Their rates are very reasonable and the work is always completed on time. You can always rely on Peters for all of your HVAC needs. I highly recommend them!

We hired Peters Refrigeration Heating & Cooling to put a few ductless mini split/heater and a/c units into our rental apartment. Not only did they give us the best price out of all of the contractors we requested bids from, they actually got us a better set up, better equipment and top notch installation. From beginning to completion of work, they more than satisfied us. They crew was knowledgeable, courteous, and made sure when they were done that we knew how the equipment functioned and answered any and all of our questions. The guys at Peter's are absolutely awesome! Our furnace broke the first day of the year below 20 degrees and they were at our house within a few hours to get us taken care of. The service tech was outstanding. He was great with our kids and took care of the issue as efficiently and professionally as possible. Best part...Peter's was able to get the defective part covered under warranty even though this was a system they don't sell and we were not the original owners. We paid up front, but they reimburse us after the credit came in. How many company would have simply said they never got the credit and kept the money. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND PETER'S!!

I had central air installed in my home in May of 2022. From the character, professionalism, and politeness of the three young men who installed the system; to the functioning of the AC unit itself, the entire experience was impressive. The owner visited my home very promptly after my initial inquiry providing a quote, and the subsequent installation went very smoothly. I feel very fortunate to have selected Peters for this project. They are top notch. I’m now “Cool in Cabot”.

Our furnace quit blowing warm air and we couldn’t figure out why. Billy from Peters came out the morning after I called (I called late in the day). He was right on time and very professional. Took a look at everything, serviced the furnace, and it was working again within 30 minutes. He never tried to up-charge me for an unnecessary part or service. Price was very fair and exactly as quoted over the phone. I will definitely be hiring Peters again next time I need service!

Called Peters for furnace check-up. We have carbon monoxide detectors that showed "0" but the wife was getting headaches. Bill came that day and checked everything out. After a complete going over he checked the Combustion Gas. Reading should have been <100 max i think, ours was 2000. Bad heat exchanger. Bill showed me everything and explained it so I could understand it! He gave us an estimate for a new unit before he left. That afternoon we called and said "Put a new furnace in" Three days later they were installing the new unit. Kyle and Jeremy were great. Very knowledgeable and polite. They even let me sit on the cellar steps and supervise without charging extra! After removal of the old unit, you could see holes in the heat exchanger. Rob is the owner and is great to deal with and won't try to mislead you at all. The unit is better than expected!
Bottom line, even if it looks good and is working fine ,call Peters and GET IT CHECKED!
The wife has not had a headache since!

That's how Peter's responds, as soon as they can. They are very professional, and explain everything they do to fix the problem. Their service is competitive, but fair. We have been with them for many years, and will continue to have them take care of our heating and cooling needs. They are dependable.
