Reviews of local pros in Carnegie, Pennsylvania

We highly recommend Schellhaas for your outdoor landscape design and construction. We had a beautiful patio installed with a fire pit and lighting. From design to construction to finish the team was knowledgeable, skilled, polite and delivered a wonderful new addition to our backyard!

Schellhaas Landscape has done 3 amazing projects for us in the past 2 years. We started with a pond, stream and waterfall. Mike and his crew did everything we asked and the result was so fantastic we hired them to do 2 more projects. The second was a new concrete driveway, Ohio Stone retaining walls and new steps to our front entrance. The final project was a 20’ diameter patio area designed to look like a Celtic stone circle. The pictures speak for themselves. Easy to work with from design to the end, Mike’s expertise, insights and suggestions gave us the confidence to let them create these beautiful areas without the need to “supervise” the progress. We’re only sorry that we ran out of projects!

We couldn’t be happier with the landscaping work Jimmy and his crew completed at our home. He was professional, punctual, and truly took pride and care in every detail of the project. Our outdoor space has been beautifully transformed, and we highly recommend Jimmy to anyone looking for exceptional landscaping services.”

Great service and a reasonable price

Excellent company, they do great work

Great and fair price! Wonderful work!

Jimmy Mak’s did my landscaping and they did a wonderful job. Excellent work, looks beautiful and very reasonable

Kevin and his crew did an awesome job installing baffles in attic and vents in back of house

Great to work with! Able to complete all our project needs - from carpentry, to plumbing, electric, painting and patio grout repair. Couldn’t be happier with the quality of their work and highly recommend!

Austin performed the dry wall work in my garage. I couldn’t ask for a more professional job and a more courteous person to work in my home. If you need work done in or around your home you can’t go wrong with Hammer and Nails. You will get a professional job at a fair price. Call them, don’t cheat yourself.

Very knowledgeable, efficient, polite.

Kevin is the best!

Tom is great, very responsive, fair prices, and quality work. Highly recommend.

After having a very unsettling experience with a company last week, I was very skeptical about bringing another unknown into my home to look at my boiler that had stopped working. I'm happy to report, I'm so thankful I did. Not only did I feel extremely comfortable, but every question I had was explained to me in layman's terms, so that I knew exactly what the issue was and what work was going to be done to rectify the problem. I can't thank Kevin Ramous enough for his professionalism and attention to detail. I will definitely be using their services again.

We had all new tiling installed in an accessory apartment. The crew did a great job and the place looks fantastic. I would definitely recommend Hammer & Nails for your home projects. Kevin and Thorn were professional, courteous and worked hard to deliver great service.

Exceptional work! We had some water damage and rotted wood that needed to be repaired and restained on a log cabin. They did an amazing job!

Daniel's crew did an outstanding job painting the interior of my lake house. Very meticulous edging, removed wall covers and light fixtures rather than painting around them, and even got behind toilets. They repaired nail pops, ceiling cracks, etc. and cleaned up. I could not have been more satisfied with their work.

I truly wish i could give more than 5 stars. Our hot water tank broke on a random weekday afternoon in the middle of some of the coldest days we had this winter and Kevin not only showed up with a new tank but he also had the problem completely taken care of…WITHIN JUST A FEW VERY SHORT HOURS. I was expecting this process to take at least a day or two and with 3 small kids, that is not a fun thought. But Kevin handled the entire situation seamlessly, compassionately and incredibly professionally and i could not be more grateful to him for the fact that my kids were able to take a hot bath before tucking them warmly into bed that night. I could not recommend this company more and we will absolutely be calling them again!

Super nice electricians, very knowledgeable and experienced and get that job done right and in a good time frame.

Highly trained (Dept. of Labor accredited) Journeymen electricians. Jared in the office is a good PM
