What an excellent experience with Dan, Seth, and their team. They rebuilt our fence, reinforced a retaining wall, terraced our yard, seeded our lawn,, and built some absolutely beautiful stone walls and steps. Big project, well executed, and they were extremely communicative and thoughtful throughout. They were courteous of our neighbors and their needs throughout the project too. Would highly recommend and will certainly use again if needed.

I hired EcoLandscapes to re-design my backyard last summer and I can't recommend them strongly enough. Daniel is exceptionally professional. He is responsive, incredibly knowledgeable, and working with him was indeed a great pleasure. I admire his integrity and commitment to using only organic materials and local and sustainable plants. The team who landscaped my backyard--Mike Brown, Sean, and Mario-- were equally professional, skilled, helpful, and lovely to work with. And I love my new garden! Daniel also followed up when they were finished with detailed instructions on how to care for my new garden and a guarantee to replace any plants that didn't survive being introduced to my yard. These guys were fantastic to work with. I had a small job for my yard - just a flower bed and hedge. Daniel had very detailed and clear communication with me via email and in-person throughout the process. Based on his renderings and photos, I knew exactly what to expect on installation day. The crew that installed was timely, neat, and communicated well. They installed a drip line on a timer too so I really didn't have to do anything to get my plants established. I had a couple of plants die, and they sent someone promptly to replace them under warranty. I'd use this team again and will not hesitate to recommend them to others!

Sean, TJ and Vince did a fantastic job transforming my front yard from a field of weeds to a woodland garden! Sean communicated with me every day and kept me up to date - explaining the details of the project. They also did a super job removing my ancient vine-covered chain link fence and putting in a high sturdy vine-resistant dog-proof privacy fence in the back. We loved them and so does the dog!

Daniel and his team of Jason, Brandon and Tim exceeded expectations when it came to replacing an old wood fence with a new vinyl fence. At the end of each day the site left clean and orderly. They communicated well with me and were always available to answer questions. Great work!

Daniel and his team were excellent to work with on our patio installation last fall. We've enjoyed this extra outdoor space, especially during the pandemic, and the garden has been in constant bloom since the spring. The design process was really enjoyable, and Daniel was always quick to respond to questions and adjustments. They even installed a sun shade which has made the space even more useable. Communication across the team was detailed, thorough, and timely. The the initial proposal and design was a collaborative process which resulted in beautiful gardens of native plants that gives us the "Pennsylvania Wilds" feel that we wanted.

We hired EcoLandscapes to rip up a grassy area in front of our home, remove a slate walkway, tear up a garden bed full of weeds, cut down two large holly bushes, and plant an assortment of native plants that would create a chaotic cottage garden/meadow effect. They did all this in a week while battling a yellow jackets nest. The crew was organized, detailed, and even weeded a garden bed near the new installation! Dan, the landscape designer, was very responsive and took the time to carefully select the plants that would be in our meadow. He is extremely knowledgeable about plants and the local ecosystem. I’d recommend this company to anyone!

Dan Cleary of EcoLandscapes inspired confidence from the moment I met him. I showed him a picture of the type of low maintenance, Asian-feel landscaping I wanted in my backyard. We discussed it, and he sent me his vision for it within a couple of days. I was very impressed with what I saw. After discussing benefits of different plants and making some adjustments, his crew of three came in. With Dan's direction, they transformed my backyard in just a week. It's absolutely beautiful. They first took out my existing lawn. Then they used flagstone paving stones, gravel and river rock for the hardscape areas; ornamental grasses, various shrubs, and a chartreuse japanese maple for planted areas. I have never had such a gorgeous yard. They also took out and replaced an Alberta spruce I had in my front yard with a crepe myrtle, and replaced the lawn with mulch so I can plant perennials. In addition, I have never had such a good experience with a contractor and crew. Dan did what he said he would do, responded to any questions I had very quickly, and clearly knew what he was doing. His crew - Mike, Matt and Jeff - were incredibly hard workers who were always a pleasure to talk with, and very patient and polite when I had questions or wanted small adjustments made. I recommend EcoLandscapes to anyone who wants a superb landscape design and installation job done.

Dan, Taney and team at EcoLandscapes transformed our overgrown pool area from an eyesore into an oasis. They were able to salvage the good plants we had and cleared away the overgrowth, leaving us a space that was more inviting, felt more open, and was easier to maintain. Very easy to work with, knowledgeable and professional from start to finish. They were a pleasure to have at our house and we'll definitely call on them again for future projects.

Communication was excellent from the start, and end result is exactly what we wanted. Crew that came out spent a full 5 days on our small yard project. They were always ready to talk and explain what was happening, and as a bonus were a pretty happy bunch, at least when I was around. They were never put off by complications, and there were a couple at least.
They did our fence, took an overgrown, gravelly plot and made it a tiny nature walk, and also touched up the front yard. Cost was extremely reasonable for the time and attention. It was a straight up good deal. I cannot wait for the plants to fully grow in and bloom.
Full 5 stars well earned. Highly recommend!
