Tom, Jon, and THS team just completed a remodel of our basement with the installation of a full bath. They did a really good job and when there were any hiccups they made it right. We encountered about 5-6 of their subcontractors and they were all very professional and really great to work with.

We had a substantial project done at our home by Total Home Solution. We renovated our kitchen, bathroom, basement and backyard deck. The workmanship and design are fantastic and we are delighted with the results. It was a real pleasure working with Tom, Chris, Joe, and the entire team. When we have projects in the future we will definitely have the work done by Total Home Solution.

We hired Total Home Solution to put an addition on our 100 year old home. Construction always comes with bumps but they were great with communication and took care of everything that popped up. We love our addition!!

They managed the make-over of our patio - adding full outdoor kitchen, fireplace and a big roof. It was a large project. Work started when they indicated, and their team was onsite daily until the project finished. Work was high quality and their teams were very knowledge. Good communication through process. The project manager was onsite regularly to talk through an hurdles and check on work progress. They have also been responsive after the job on any little issues that arose, and helped with a bathroom remodel after the main project.

This was our first experience with home renovation and building an addition. Friends told us to expect hassles and delays. They said 'don't be surprised if the project runs overtime and overbudget.' Well it did happen. But not by much and I love my new space. I have a modern space which is bright and has clean lines and I have Tom, Jon and Shannon from Tribe Kitchen. Thank you all.

Total Home Solution is a group of professionals that get the job done exactly as they say they will. They work fast and with quality. THS communicates well, and they counsel you along the way. Their pricing is reasonable and they are upfront and honest about everything. We had three massive projects and THS did a great job each time.

I am thankful for the services provided by Total Home Solution. Recently, I moved into my home and expected there to be "surprises". Only 3 months in, I noticed a questionable "bulge" on the basement wall. My initial contact with Eileen was professional, pleasant and reassuring. Within 24 hours, I received a follow up from Tom, who provided a clear outline of next steps. I feel it's important to support our local businesses and Total Home Solution is one that I'm happy to support and consider as my first call whenever the need will arise!

It took me a few months to finally sit down and give this review. We are so happy with the work you and team did. Mike, the electrician what a great guy, so glad to have met him. The painters, they did a professional job, took a long time, but it was a lot of work and detail. I mean, good work. Did not have much interaction with the plumber, and demo guy, but they accomplished their phase of the job, also. Claudia Campos, and her staff, OMG, what an exceptional cleaning they did. So glad they were available to do this for us, don't know where I would have even begun to start or able to do so, with all that had to be done. Eileen, yes, she did a marvelous job in suggesting the colors, everything just blended together.

Tom, you have a good team working for your transformation, renovation, a total home solution. Yes, its so good when you have people you can depend on and trust, and do their job.

Tom Hawks from Total Home Solution was wonderful. He was knowledgeable, helpful with ideas, and super pleasant to work with. Unfortunately, what I needed done was a project way too small for their services. However, Tom sat with me for over an hour giving me ideas and suggestions. He also referred me to a colleague who turned out to be amazing also.
When the time comes that I have a larger project to do, I will definitely contact him again.

Had a great experience with THS! We did a major renovation and there were a lot of moving parts. Tom and Jon were there for us every step of the way. Anytime I had a question I would just call them or email them, and I had an answer to my questions quickly. Very glad we went with THS and have already recommended them to other people.

If Total Home Solution believes any of the following to be inaccurate, I encourage them to specifically explain which of the following statements are inaccurate in their reply.

I'm posting my review regarding my very disappointing experience with this company even after receiving a letter from their attorney threatening me with litigation should I do so.

Multiple times my review has disappeared without explanation (or been visible only to me), even though I have emails backing up everything.

Perhaps this explains why the reviews here are so misleading. And I can see how this threat of litigation would prevent others from sharing their similarly awful experience.

The short version:

After the owner Tom visited my house he said a bump out addition and bathroom would be possible at approximately $70,000.00-$77,000.00 but would need a $4000.00 deposit to begin the process.

Tom also confirmed, through email, in September that if at the time of arriving at "soft numbers" this no longer looked possible I would have the option of exiting and receiving approximately half of that amount back. It was under this condition that I sent him the $4000.00

These "soft numbers" finally arrived in March and were $132,000.00-$145,000.00

I tried to rescue the project by fitting the bathroom in the existing space, and sending drawings for reference, Tom kept redrawing them and locating everything incorrectly, had no HVAC plan beyond "ambient", and failed to even have his plumber look at the new scope, all while pressing me to file for permits.

When I made it clear I wanted to exit and discuss the remainder of my deposit, his employee Jon informed me they would not be returning anything and soon thereafter their lawyer informed me they would file suit should I post negative reviews and/ or go after them in civil court.

Needless to say, I regretfully relied on this platform when selecting them, and would encourage anyone considering hiring them to look at their reviews on other sites and focus on the newest reviews you find.

I am in love with my new kitchen tile, Derrick was very transparent throughout the whole process. Would definitely recommend.

THS did a kitchen addition for us and we are very happy with the final result. Tom, Jon and team kept the lines of communication open throughout the entire process and explained any delays or changes that popped up during construction. Would recommend for future projects!

We had our original 1960s pink primary bath updated by THS this year and we are thrilled with the end result. Tom and the team work well together and everyone is kind, knowledgeable, efficient and professional. The project manager Jon was an excellent leader throughout the course and kept us updated with progress and next steps every day. He was also easily accessible for questions. He is calm, organized, experienced, and can handle issues that arise unexpectedly with ease. The subcontractors were all highly skilled and professional in our home. We look forward to our next renovation!

Ludwig Home Renovation Project

Total Home Solutions did a fantastic job on our home remodel. We used this company for our kitchen, living room and dining room renovation.

This was not a small project which took a lot of planning and organization and was completed while we stayed in the house.

They removed the main central support wall and additional walls and installed an almost 30-foot engineered, hidden, beam which fully opened the space. Removed the old plaster walls to allow upgraded plumbing, electrical, new insulation and installed new drywall. The existing oakwood floors, in the living room and dining room, were extended into the kitchen with new wood flooring, the new and old wood matched perfectly and refinished beautifully.

Total Home Solutions provided the kitchen design through Tribe Kitchen Co. and worked closely with us to pick out the cabinet styles, layout (including a large island), pull types, counters, tile, and colors. With the choices complete they provided 3D drawings showing exactly how the finished rooms would look.

Throughout the project, Total Home Solutions management provided almost daily communication, discussing completed and upcoming work. Additionally, at the end of each week, an online video meeting was provided to address any concerns and to make sure we were happy with the progress and our comfort while living in the home during the renovations.

As in all major construction projects, there will be some desired changes or modifications. Total Home Solutions and Tribe Kitchen Co. handled everything professionally and without delay. The finished renovation was timely, complete and beautiful.

We would like to thank Total Home Solutions and Tribe Kitchen Co. for providing us with a great experience and an awesome new living area in our home.

Tom wasted my time. I had him in my home to give a quote for a total bathroom remodel. We discussed budget while he was here and he agreed that about $20-$25k would be a fair estimate. Also had him check out another area of the house that we agreed could use about $10-15k in work. He said he would give me a quote for both projects in a couple days, but just heard back from him that both of my projects are "too small" for his construction group and no quotes were provided. We discussed the budget for both projects while onsite, so not sure why he couldn't be honest when we were face to face. Instead he wasted a good hour of my time, plus a couple days waiting for quotes that were never completed.

Do not recommend this company at all.

We used THS for our master bath redesign. They were professional, timely and solution oriented. Their staff was good and knowledgeable. Their processes were thorough and left little room for error. They were flexible to accommodate our travel and work schedules (we lived at home while the work was being done). They were responsive at all points in the project.
While I found their initial pricing considerably higher than other bids that we received, their professionalism worked in their favor.
They stuck to our budget needs and steered us in the correct direction.
For the most part, their subcontractors were very good. They arrived at the house on time, were courteous and respectful. The quality of their work was good. If something needed correcting, it was corrected.
