Great place to get feed or hay near Pittsburgh. This is where I go for rabbit food. They also have gardening supplies and decratives and wind chimes an 'at.

The owners are very helpful on how to grow plants that you are unsure of!!! They have wonderful help and everything you need and if they don't they will order it for you 🙂

A decent selection of flowers, and they have some stuff that's hard to find at the national chains (like certain hand tools, Penn State grass seed, and baby chickens) but the prices are a little high.

Glenshaw Feed and Garden Center is the place to find healthy plants, unique plants, and large sizes of your planting needs.

Their prices are fair, and their employees are helpful without being overbearing or pushy. For me it just wouldn't be summer without a visit or 12 to Glenshaw Feed.

Good service. Good quality items for sale. Workers carry everything for you. Mike can answer any question you may have. Way better then Home Depot or Lowes.

I used to get the 1st/2nd cut timmy hay from another feed store, but my allergies became too much and even touching it gave me awful hives. Orchard grass has always been a safer alternative for me, but not many local places sell orchard.

Many of the online stores that I used to purchase from charged $80 or more per bale, and unfortunately, the quality of some of these places has gown downhill.

I decided, on a whim, to call around, and Glenshaw feed was the only place locally that sold a 3rd cut. I picked up a bale (for only $11!) And my bunnies LOVE it. No hay is all perfectly green, but their hay smells fresh and the buns devour it like crazy! The staff is very helpful and friendly, and I get in and out.

Highly recommend buying hay from them if you want reasonably priced orchard grass.

Terrible service. Never ever do they offer to assist older people in taking items to their car. I used to work at Best Feeds and we knew what customer service was we carried everything out to peoples cars and it was always greatly appreciated by everyone.

I love glenshaw feed and the variety of food they have for pets! Ive been purchasing from here since i was a little girl, the dog food on the other hand for about 2 years. Im very happy with all they have in stock.

Very knowledgeable - always able to answer my gardening or pest questions. Staff are friendly and always help you carry or load things into your car. They also sell good quality dog food.

The staff is very passionate about what they do and it shows in the level of service I consistently receive. They have always had the right answers to any of my questions or problems. Everyone there is well informed and more than willing to share that knowledge with you or anyone seeking it.

I have been a customer at Glenshaw Feed for almost 10 years and will continue to be a customer as long as they exist. I've told them often if they just sold some groceries I wouldn't have to shop anywhere else.
Mike and his team have been a great help over the years in many ways, far too many to count. I have never experienced anything but top notch customer service. I have no doubt if there was anyone not acting in the proper manner they would be dealt with swiftly. Mike takes great pride in each customers experience (to put words in his mouth). I hope anyone that had a bad experience recently would give them another chance. Thank you Mike and everyone at Glenshaw (and Bakerstown) for all the great advice and great conversations over the years.

Get all my chicken food here. Very laid back staff, always willing to make suggestions or carry stuff out to your vehicle. Haven't really looked at them for non chicken stuff, but they seem to have a good variety of other stuff, including plants and garden supplies.

I stopped in today to ask a question about a problem I am having in my home to see if they had a product that could help. The owner took the time to show me how he has been solving the same problem at his business. He explained what has worked in the past and what did not. It was so nice of him to take the time, for I didn't end up purchasing a thing. He genuinely wanted to help and educated me as best he could. So few businesses do that anymore. Thank you!!

Update... they now accept phone number for rewards account. 🙂 And I've found a extra rich peat moss that I enjoy using for potted plants. I added fifth star because small businesses like this deserve a few extra dollars for carrying special items, like high-quality, durable gardening gloves that I treated myself to this year!

pet food options. Staff is helpful and knowledgeable. Took off one start because prices on some items are way too high, and new rewards program requires me to keep track of a physical card. I prefer only having to give my phone number for rewards programs vs. having to carry a card.

Convenient but pricey and not a good selection.
