Don and his team are best-in-class at knob and tube remediation. We hired Don in August 2019 and his team worked tirelessly to quickly remediate a large amount of original knob and tube from our home which was built in the 1920’s in West Mt Airy. Had Donald and his crew do a knob and tube remediation on my Aunts house in Upper Darby. I’ve spent the last 20 years in the construction industry and am quite familiar with what kind of damage electricians can do while completing their work! I expected large holes needing repaired, cut wire scraps laying all over, etc. I found none of that! The holes were much, much smaller than I expected!! Even though Donald knew I had a carpenter coming behind him to repair walls, he still took the time to make nice clean cuts and only as large as necessary.

I could go on and on about Donald. Do yourself a favor and hire him!!! He’s a straight shooter that does quality work and at a fair price!

I can’t say enough positive things about Don and his amazing crew. They removed a lot of K&T wiring and did a lot of rewiring. He and his crew are incredibly knowledgeable, they explained everything in a way that made sense to a non-electrician. They were incredibly responsive and quick to send updates about the work.

His crew was awesome - they were incredibly professional, respectful and pleasant - they worked really hard and finished our 3 week job about 3.5 days early which was a pleasant surprise!

I was expecting huge gaping holes in the ceiling and walls and was pleasantly surprised to see they only had to cut out a few small patches in each room.

They are top notch and and I 100% recommend them if you want high quality work done in your home!

We just had the Knob & Tube wiring removed from our Havertown home. Essentially a total rewire of the house. Don's team (Dave, Casey, Andy, and Al) were extremely efficient, polite, and considerate of our comfort as we were in the house while work was being completed. After they finished each day, they were meticulous cleaning up. Their customer service is second to none. As an example: Dave suggested a certain light fixture for our basement to replace outdated lighting. So we purchased new lighting and brought it home for next day installment. Upon removing the fixture from the packaging the next day, Dave noticed the lens was cracked. He took the initiative to return a 2'x 4' light fixture to the store for a replacement. We weren't even home when he decided this was the best thing to do for his customer. We can't thank Don and his team enough for a job extremely well done.

Simply the best. Don and his foreman Vincent did a full house rewire, new main panel, new sub panel, new receptacles, new bathroom exhaust fans, new lights, new bedroom fans, and replaced a rusted meter socket! Great communication, super professional, and most importantly really took the time to solve problems the right way and not just the easy way. If you have any kind of electrical work pray that Don and his team have time to work on it.

Donald and his team performed a complete house knob and tube replacement on my recently purchased home. The replacement was required to get house up to code and reduce risk of electrical fire.

More importantly, Donald was courteous, prompt, professional, and upfront about pricing from the time of the estimate through the completion of the project. The high quality work was completed in less than the estimated amount of time. Moreover, the price ended up slightly below estimate due to an additional chase pipe being redundant despite originally being agreed upon. This speaks to his honesty because I would have had no idea.

Also, the mess was relatively small. The knob and tube was able to be replaced with only a few holes made on one floor of my three story home. My older home appreciated this as he did not have to damage any of the beautiful original baseboards. Additionally, there was very limited amount of dust left after all the work ,despite the old plaster walls and ceilings.

Donald and his team were extremely knowledgeable and helpful. They started our K&T remediation the hour after we settled, and completed the job in about 10 days, as advertised. I'm currently painting the walls of the house, and the patch work Donald's team did is great. After they finished, I found a couple outlets that weren't working, and they fixed them promptly, standing behind their 100% satisfaction guarantee.
