I had some pretty extensive revamping Of my landscape beds after 17 years. Brad was my landscape project manager. The design that he chose is so beautiful that I dont want to come inside! He was patient with my changes and great with suggestions!! He made me feel like we were a team. This is a real professional. Very very impressive.

The crew was so professional and meticulous in their job. Everything was done precisely and neatly and cleaned up at every turn! No mess left.

I just can’t say enough about Tuma, Brad and the landscaping crew!! Dont go anywhere else!

After two years of being a loyal customer; Tuma has “dumped” me without any warning! I was on their schedule for grass cutting, leaf removal etc. I always tried to be a good customer for them. This letter I just received has “punched me in the gut”.

In addition; I paid a lot of money for landscaping, which included, unfortunately, the planting of sickly plants. Repeated attempts to nicely get this corrected, have gone unresolved!

I recently received some bids from Wade Tuma for the planting of pine trees, redoing my patio, etc. He and I talked and, finally, I felt like my landscaping issues and problems would be taken care of. I thought that Tuma would stand behind their work and replace the sickly plants and move the pine tree for me.

Apparently, this wasn’t the case! I received a letter yesterday from Cheri, the office manager, that I was being dropped as a customer! They are blaming it on a “labor shortage”. If this is true, then why are they still on Angie’s List, advertising for more customers?! Up until yesterday, my review would have been good.

Now, if I could give zero or negative stars; I would! A reputable company doesn’t treat loyal customers this way! Now, the landscaping I need done and the lawn care will have to go to someone else. Looking for a reliable lawn care company!

It started out great. I got a nice design and Wade was easy to work with. The crew seemed great and overall I was pleased. Two years later I'm replacing more than 50% of what they planted. Wade Tuma claims that it's best to plant in "native" soil, but that doesn't hole true when the soil is pure clay. One tree that died was so packed in clay that I actually broke a shovel trying to dig it out. I spent thousands of dollars, now I'm spending hundereds more every time I have to replace something that they didn't plant correctly. No, I'm not happy!

I have only good things to say about Tuma Landscaping. The quality of job was exceptional. Brad was always responsive and always went the extra bit to make sure the small requests were taken care of. My lawn looks awesome and has changed the look of my house. I took 3 estimates and the estimate from Tuma was extremely competitive and reasonable. So, I would strongly recommend Tuma Landscaping - you cannot go wrong both in quality and also financially.

We needed a very old hedge removed. Tuma's service was outstanding from the initial phone call, the proposal, the work done to the final invoice. We will be using Tuma for our other landscaping needs.

The crew was professional. They worked well as a team and were quiet.

I absolutely love my new patio! Brad and his team were very professional and polite. When I decided that the patio needed to be a little larger, Brad was able to accommodate my change. There was a small issue with a railing that I didn't notice until the last minute. He Heard my concern and was able to provide the railing I wanted. Did I mention I love my new patio!

We needed some assistance in getting our landscaping and yard back into condition and Brad along with the team at Tuma did an outstanding job. Brad worked with us to determine our needs, and patiently refined the proposals as we tweaked what we wanted. He let us know the time frames the team could be available, and when we signed, hit those dates. His designs and recommendations turned out quite well, and we are so pleased with the final results, and the process that got it done. I would highly recommend Tuma for any landscaping and lawn needs.

Tuma earned my continued business! I hired them to cut my grass and fertilize my lawn for the past few months. That's all it took for me to know I'm going to use them again in 2025. First off, their office always communicated clearly and quickly. I know what to expect on my bill, it comes on time, and every question I ask is answered in 24 hours. Second, the crew that cuts my grass is always on time, quick and clean. Finally, their fertilization program works amazingly! We went from a dead, grub filled lawn to green and grub free within the first two months. This is the best our lawn has ever done over the summer. If you want effective lawn care with professional customer service, go with tuma.

Tuma did an excellent job redoing our landscaping. Very reasonable price. I highly recommend to anyone needing landscaping services or grass cutting.

Absolutely-unbelievable-amazing work that Brad, Justus, John & Jeff did on building the wall, laying erosion netting & planting junipers then mulch on the incredibly steep hill behind my house this past week of Nov. 10-12. It was so cold, windy and snowing but those men did not stop. Tuma was recommended by a neighbor and she was correct. They are such a reputable company that has been in the area for decades. I am new to the area and so happy I found them.
And if you able, it is always a good idea to cook for the people who work so hard for you whether it is cold or hot outside. They are very appreciative but then so are we as consumers for something that adds beauty, value and eliminates backbreaking work at our homes.

Tuma is fantastic. Frank and his team did great work. They did our front a few years back. We’re having them back to do some things on the side and rear of our house. Some before. Mid. After. Current. Will add more after their work in a few months. Highly recommend!

Had sunset landscaping replace my retaining wall this spring with a versa lok wall. Price was fair and work was completed in a timely manor. Everything looks great!!!!!

Edit after owner reply: firstly they took 4 months to reply to this review. Secondly their website says they offer snow removal services so I don't understand why you wouldn't answer your phone in the winter. Thirdly the number I called is a mobile phone not a landline.

They do our HOA....One guy who was weeding out front only did part of it. When I asked him if he was going to do the rest, he started yelling and screaming at me. I approached another guy (Mike) who said he noticed that it was half done and said he would get someone to finish it and within a minute, someone was doing it. Shout out to Mike and and shame on the other guy.

Sunset Landscaping rebuilt a fallen retaining wall on the upper portion of my yard, graded the lower portion, and placed river rock on the slope.
