We had a very large, tall and unwieldy tree in our small backyard in the city. One side rested against a cinderblock wall and the branches had grown over the backyards of 4 neighbors. The only way to get rid of the pieces was to take them through our house from the back, out the front door. Quite a challenge. Wil, the very responsive owner, along with a crew of 5, worked diligently, professionally and in a timely manner. All the properties that were effected were cleaned up of any tree debris. It was a job well done and I'd highly recommend them.

They were professional and efficient from quote to clean up. They took down 4 very large trees (one very dead). The work was done perfectly and the yard was cleaner than when they arrived. They also quoted the very lowest price!

They may be good landscapers but their customer service sucks so I'll never know. I initially called three weeks ago and left a VM. Several days later, I got a return call and was told there were no appointments available until today [Monday June 4, two weeks later] -- and that the owner [Will] would be at my house between 10:00 and 12 noon. Nobody showed up so I called again. Finally, someone returned my call at 12:10 to tell me that not only was nobody coming but that they couldn't do the job because they're too busy do work at my house until next year!!!! I said then why didn’t you tell me that 3 weeks ago?!?

I was very disappointed by the service of this business. I had contacted them to have someone come out to my property to provide me a quote/estimate. They told me the person would get here between 10-5pm. I waited and it was getting close to 5pm, but no one came. So I contacted them and they told me that they are busy and the person is still stuck in another location, so they will reschedule me for the next day. The next day, I contact them in the morning to get a time of when I should be expecting their arrival and they said 12-5pm. Again, I waited but no one ever came...horrible service, no updates, and unreliable.

Mercado’s took out 2 large weed trees and alleyway debris for us in South Philly. They were quick, efficient, and careful, I would definitely recommend them! Thank you for doing such great work!

Excellent, professional and clean work. Mercado Landscaping completed a project in our back yard this spring. The project included paving, buidling large planter boxes and installation of a K9 grass area. Mercado's Landscaping was a pleasure to work with, gave a fair price and completed the work in a timely manner. We could not be happier with the quality of work and the results of our backyard. We now have a usable outdoor space to enjoy this summer and for years to come.

Absolutely wonderful! They did a fantastic job, removing my tree, they were on time, fast, efficient, courteous, and they leave area clean as a whistle. Wonderful! I highly recommend Mercados, I will definitely be a return customer.

We got 3 tress removed but not fully by Mercado's Landscape. They were supposed to remove it completely (stump and all) because we wanted to make a new driveway in our backyard. The asphalt company came to start the driveway and couldn't start the job because the stumps were still there. I called back gave us the run around and ultimately said to find someone else to get it removed because they are fully booked and was not part of the original quote. Also, said the asphalt company should be able to handle that. No, Mercado should handle since we paid for it. I do not recommend Mercado's Landscape, they do not answer phone calls on time, cannot return phone calls on time and very unprofessional when it comes to solving customer's issues/concerns.

I am very pleased with the level of professionalism, from the customer service over the phone to the work completed. Just a great group of people. They've been courteous, empathetic and responsive throughout the whole process. I will have more work to be done and Mercado's Landscape will not only be my go to, but I will highly recommend them to anyone in need of their services.

This is our second time using Mercado's. They are wonderful. Very affordable, and came early to take our tree down. They even helped out taking a branch that had fallen from out tree on our neighbor's phone lines by taking it off when the phone company tried to charge us for having them come out to look at it. I highly recommend them and will be using them in the future for tree-trimming our other trees.

We had a 2 1/2 story tree cut down in a very small backyard. The tree was over 40 years old and created a lot of problems with clogging drains and over grown weeds. The tree grew into a chain linked fence. The Mercado team arrived early, all the men were friendly and professional. They removed all of the tree limbs, tree trunk pieces and saw dust particles from our yard, the alley, and the front of the house. They even cleared debris from the neighbors sidewalks and the street. I would recommend them to everyone. This was not an easy job, due to the very small yard. Thank you so much for your hard professional work ethic.☺️☺️☺️

Definitely recommend this company! We needed two very large trees removed from our front yard. The guys came out on time, were very polite and respectful. They worked well in the cold, and left everything cleaned.

My experience with Mercado was unmatched for the following reasons
1. Came out to quote faster than other two quoted parties I contacted
2. Priced more competitively than the other two quoted parties
3. Were able to complete the job faster than the other two quoted parties
4. Were, easy to work with and professional. This included ease of payment through online portal, and good contact through text and call.
5. Could not have done this job better. This included removal of LARGE trees between tight row homes. No damage done or sings of any issues. Perfectly executed.

I can recommend Mercados 100%. They sent someone out right away, and delivered an estimate immediately. They were able to get us on the schedule within a week, and today they came out, removed the tree, ground the stump, and cleaned up. Excellent work + great team!

I was originally going to write a wonderful review for Mercado regarding their tree removal service. We had a large tree removed from a small street and they were responsive, polite and did a wonderful job with cleaning up afterward.
We were going to use another service (MARK) to fill in the concrete block where the tree once stood, but Mercado said that they also fill the concrete at an additional cost. They cost more than MARK, but we figured that it would be easier to use the same company for both services. They filled in the concrete block, but did not put up any type of barrier and almost immediately someone accidentally walked over the block and left footprints. We called to ask if they would smooth it out, they said no and that they're not responsible for what happens during the drying time. I understand if that means people who write their names in wet cement, etc, but the footprint would have been prevented by a simple barrier. They explained that the contract said that we are responsible for the upkeep and the upkeep means that we are responsible for putting up our own barrier during the drying time if we want to protect it. We wrongly assumed that anyone working with wet cement would take enough pride that they would do something simple such as putting up a barrier to protect their work - similar to how painters would put up wet paint signs.
They seemed offended when I suggested that it would be helpful to put up a barrier to help protect their work and she replied that since I offered that suggestion, her suggestion to me was to learn how to read contracts.
It was very insulting and we admit that we should have not assumed they would do the most basic simple preventative steps, and we were in the wrong based on the contract. Overall, if you use Mercado be sure to dissect their contract and question them on their wording to make sure you're on the same page. We are fortunate that nothing happened with the tree removal or if any damage would have happened during the removal - because with the way they treat something as simple as cement, I can't imagine how they treat any instance that may happen during a tree removal.

Awesome company, Will is the owner/manager who is very generous and honest. I have called several tree removal companies and Mercado is the only one offering an unbeatable price, but their service provided would worth at least double of the price. They got a professional team that get the job done efficiently and left no mess behind. Very impressed about the service and I would highly recommend it to others.

I am very pleased with the work that Luis and his team did to cut down four trees in my backyard. They were prompt, hard working, a strong team and they communicated with me along the way. They cleaned up my yard and also my neighbor's as they worked. Their office staff was really easy to connect with. Great systems in place! I highly recommend Mercado's Landscaping.

The Mercado's did a professional job at a fair price for my church. There were three large trees in the small backyard that ruined the basement and sewage drainage. The job was much needed but was a delicate one because it has to be coordinated with the owner of the parking lot in the backside of the church. The Mercado's was willing to work with us and the parking lot owner and got the job done, as promised, and without causing any damage to the parking lot. I really appreciate their service and recommend their tree service to anyone.
