Jack and the crew from JG Landscape were great to work with and removed my huge sycamore and stump. There were challenges along the way but they handled it professionally and with poise which is not easy to come by these days. I will use their services again.

We had 2 dead trees removed and I have to honestly say the whole team was super friendly, polite and very respectful of our property and our neighbors! They cleaned up like the trees were never there...truely an amazing job! AND they beat out 3 others landscapers with the price, so happy we finally found a local landscaping company that does an amazing job...thanks again JG Landscaping!

JG Landscaping did a superb job in removing the high grown tree and bushes from my lawn. I recommend them for anyone in the area. Very professional work and they even have the robotic equipment to grind the tree stumps to the roots. 5-Star work for a reasonable price.

JG Landscaping provided weed/shrub clearing services on my property. Jack and his crew were professional, efficient and did a great job, They were courteous, cleaned up all around the area and worked through snow squalls! Jack and his crew were the best! They took down two trees in a very tight space, removed all the debris and left my yard in great shape. They went out of their way to protect my soggy, rain-soaked lawn from heavy machinery and could not have been more accommodating. You can’t argue with polite, reliable and responsible! We had two other landscapers come out and give us outrageous prices!! JG landscaping came out gave us an amazing price!! They were here within days and done in an hour!! The entire crew did an amazing job And got the two dead trees down without damaging the small new trees we planted underneath! Very fast and very efficient will definitely use JG landscaping again!!

We hired JG after Jack Gormley walked the property and gave a very good quote on the spot. It’s a local, family-owned, growing company. The work required removal from the ground and someone to climb up into the trees. Scheduling was easy and quick. It was a one-day job for a three-person crew. They brought four, a chipper, and a small mechanized lifting tongs machine to move heavier logs. Jeremiah Nolet (independent contractor) was the tree climber. This guy is fantastic – very skilled! He worked quickly and carefully. He stayed safe and didn’t rush. He knows trees! He and the JG team worked to get everything done properly. They minimized damage and disturbance on the property. They did things the way I wanted but also gave advice when I needed it. They really clean up at the end. They were great to work with.

JG cleared an area of overgrown forest at the back of our property, removing scrub, vines, brush and forest debris built up over many years of neglect. They were incredibly efficient. Their work is excellent. They are very easy and pleasant to deal with. Reasonable pricing. Professional and honest. I would highly recommend them. . I will certainly use them again.

The JG team was amazing. We had a big project (removal of two very large trees from a rowhouse backyard not adjacent to the street) with an impossible set of circumstances (cars did not move per street closure permit, police were slow to respond and approve towing, the team was operating in very narrow streets coordinating multiple large vehicles). Despite all of this, the team pulled off the job with the highest quality and safety in the same day.

All of this was made even better by Jack and his team's flexibility. Jack was instrumental in coordinating with the police enforcing the permit and tow trucks to clear the working area. After that, the team made it look like a piece of cake.

Other notable positives in working with JG Landscaping: they were prompt in my request for an estimate, Jack came out to the location the same week of my sending a request (it was a nonurgent request), flexible in scheduling the job, estimate was extremely competitive based on other estimates received for the same job (this may be in part due to the fact that they own their own equipment where others rent it for each job), estimate = actual amount charged despite logistical challenges, positive attitude and high degree of professionalism from Jack and team the entire time.

This was my first job with JG. So long as I live in the greater Philadelphia area, I will only work with this team.

My entire tree removal experience with JG Landscaping was very positive. The quoting process was quick and efficient, I didn't even have to be present, just sent the pictures of the trees in question. The price was competitive. The tree cutting and stump milling were done quickly, the site was swept clean. Though one of trees (a pretty big cedar) was very close to the house, there was no damage to the roof or adjacent smaller trees. Would highly recommend.

I am very pleased to be able to highly recommend JG Landscaping & Tree Service Company. I had several acres to be cleared and a 300 year old maple tree stump to be removed. From the first interaction with Jack, to the completion of the job, he was forth-write, helpful in planning, responsible and mindful of cost. What was promised was done, and completed in a timely fashion. I found Jack and his crew to be extremely professional, reliable and diligent to detail, even when they had unexpected challenges. Jack and his team did a wonderful job trimming the overgrown cherry trees in my background. They also did some work on the trees/shrubs in my background as well. Ultimately, this family-owned business was professional throughout. And you get a sense that they have a deep respect for the work that they do and how this sense of care translates into their services. All-in-all, I am happy with their work. They made my background look very elegant and classy due to their attention to detail and professionalism.

They did a phenomenal job. It's rare that I hire a contractor, and not wind up disappointed. But I was so happy and I feel they went above and beyond the scope. I hired JG to do some clean up, tree trimming, weeding, and mulch. They did everything I asked and then some. Prompt, courteous, and fast. I'll be using them for any of my landscaping or tree needs in the future.

Normally my husband & I do things ourselves but this task of removing our over 40 foot tree was out of our hands and placed into the hands of a reliable, hardworking, motivated crew that I have ever seen!
