A devastating fire engulfed part of my apartment around midnight the day after Thanksgiving. Frightened, shaken and lost, I was not sure where to turn. Fortunately, someone recommended that as soon as I complete my insurance claim that the next step was to hire an emergency restoration company. I hired G.S. Jones to help me clean up the damage from the fire. By 8:30 am the next morning I was meeting face to face with one of their managers who explained the steps needed to get me back to normal---and there were many, many steps, many of which I had no idea were needed/important. There is a clear sequence of what needed to be done and dedicated teams would be scheduled in a timely manner to take me through the entire process. The next day five people came and began a multi-week process of cleaning, airing, disinfecting, repairing my apartment. Professionals were brought to repair walls, ceilings, patch, prime, etc. A team cleaned to content of every room, leaving no object untouched. Large exhaust fans were brought to air out my place for several weeks. Drycleaners, furniture cleaning people, painters, wallpaper hangers, an art restoration company, oriental rug cleaners, electricians, company to clean my blinds, etc., all came through the apartment at the appropriate intervals to do their part. All along, the project manager(s) were on top of everything. My phone calls were returned promptly and they were also particularly useful in being a conduit with the insurance adjuster. There is not one person/contractor/ that they brought to the job that was not professional, caring and attentive. At a time when I felt most vulnerable, they helped me put the pieces back together again. It never felt transactional. The human touch was always there. It’s a deliberate and slow process and at time I was impatient with all these steps but, in the end, it was done with care and attention. I would highly recommend G.S. Jones. At a time when I needed to cede control to the professionals so that I can take care of my own emotional needs and deal with the trauma of a fire, they were there and took care of business.

I used GS Jones after a house fire with severe smoke damage throughout the entire structure. I can not say enough good about GS Jones and how professional, responsive, and friendly the entire team was throughout the process. Greg, Anthony, and Derek were a pleasure to deal with, very friendly, honest, and professional. What was initially estimated to be a 12 month project was completed by GS Jones in just 6 months time. Anthony and Derek did an amazing job helping us reconfigure the kitchen and 2 baths, as well as give suggestions on certain updates we were hoping to make during the renovation, and areas where we could save money on certain projects. Greg was especially helpful in facilitating the conversation and process with insurance and making sure that everything went seamless. They were very professional, easy to work with, and I was always able to get ahold of them any time of the day. GS Jones made sure that everything was exactly how we wanted it and up to our standards. We received constant follow up on the progress and were always contacted if any issue arose or they had any questions about what we wanted done. GS Jones even facilitated our move back into our home, supplying the truck and about 10 workers to help pack and move our belongings back into the house. I would recommend GS Jones to my family/friends and anyone who has a restoration need. Truly can not say enough good about this company and Greg, Anthony, and Derek.

I experienced both a sewer pipe and storm pipe break under the foundation of my townhouse complex. It was a dire emergency ! I was recommended by Angie at Rusmur Flooring to call Dena in their office or Clinton, who actually came out to assess the damage. I called at 11a and Clinton was at my place by 5:30p that evening. He went over and above after his work day ended, to try to help me. Clinton was professional knowledgeable and compassionate in an emotionally charged situation. He arranged to have my personal belongings removed from the property two days later. The crew that arrived that morning was also very professional, hard-working, and a well honed machine. They removed my entire contents within hours !

A return date was set, and I was thoroughly informed of the cleaning/restoration process for all of the items. My belongings were stored at their facility until the repair work at the property was finished. The delivery was the day and time it was promised, and they delivered and unloaded/unpacked everything in a timely and caring manner. My belongings were returned in the same condition that they were removed, but now cleaned and restored !

The ‘heavy lifters’ treated my furniture with respect, and as if it was their own. Coordinators Elaine and Denise stayed with me to help unpack boxes, hang garments and just to provide support. They took boxes and packing supplies back to their facility, so that I didn’t have to worry about that either.

This company and its staff were a Godsend to me, and I am so grateful for everything that Clinton did to make this all work !! Thank you, GS Jones.

I've worked with GS Jones on several projects usually with Don Bair. Very professional and always with great results. When it comes to mold remediation and disaster restoration they can't be beat

GS Jones did my father in laws home after a fire. Now looking at the job they did …. Would never use or recommend them. Did not seal the attic, can still smell fire , brown dripping down walls, paint job so thin on all walls, caulk on walls 4” out from cabinets in kitchen ( would never of known until try to paint), floor under stove moving very very poor job. Very nice people but poor work.

I wouldn't think that somebody would want me to constantly be hounded for a review when I wasn't really pleased with their work.

The project was going well until I noticed pink styrofoam used as blocking to support a section of the shower surround. There was a section of the base that had water damage prior to the start of the project. I didn’t expect the contractor to repair this area, but I did expect them to install a suitable material to support the new shower assembly. For the cost of the project I thought a professional install was included

I had a great experience with Pj Fitzpatrick and the repair tech who worked with us, Daniel C. They did everything they promised, no surprise extra expenses. Great communication, no hard sell, super nice and polite, left everything clean. I will definitely call this company again. I highly recommend them. Daniel C. was awesome and honest. A different company had come to give me an estimate the week before. They used a drone to view my roof and told me that I needed a whole new roof. My roof is only a few years old and all I needed was a repair. When i told them i just wanted a repair they stopped answering my phone calls. So, I called PJ Fitzpatrick. Daniel C came as scheduled, checked out the roof, fixed the leak on the spot and helped me make arrangements to have my gutters cleaned and gutter hoods installed a couple of weeks later. Daniel was super nice and asked me to keep an eye on the leak and to let him know if it continued to leak when it rained. It did not leak again. After gutter hoods were installed I was so impressed I felt safe enough to schedule an estimate appontment to get another area of our house upgraded. PJ Fitzgerald and Daniel C. fixed my house and saved us from spending money on a whole new roof that we don’t need! Thank you!!!
