Very happy to find an electrician who responds to messages right away and Elgin was here on time, explanatory and affordable. And it wasn’t a small job! Outdoor wiring was eroded and needed to be replaced as well as fuse box and some fuses. Above and beyond.

I'm very happy with the work! I've been calling around everywhere and it's hard to get an electrician or any repair guy to pick up. Not only did he call me back, he came by the next week and got the whole job done in a day. I've got an old house with weird wiring history and my attic fan and light are finally working!

Eljin the electrician, saved the day. I had trouble with my panel and I lost power to half of my house, which meant no furnace for 36 hours over Christmas weekend. I started calling around to find an electrician but all I got were answering machines or services. On the Monday after the holidays, Eljin was the only person that answered their phone (the other companies never returned my calls). He arrived at my house within a few hours and had my power back on in about 45 minutes. He took time to explain the situation and answered my questions and the bill was very reasonable. I will be using his services for future projects!

Quick and efficient! Responded to my message on Yelp at lightning speed with a quote and replaced my light switch the very next day. I am so pleased that I was able to resolve this issue in under 24 hours. I highly recommend this company!

They came for do a diagnostics. Charged $175 for the diagnostics - not fixing anything and telling me I needed to spend thousands of dollars to get electricity into the side of the house which had none. I consulted with a second electrician and he fixed the issue 90 min later and for only $300. I do not recommend.

We have had Eljin out twice now to do some electric work. The first time was in the dead of winter when an outdoor outlet failed, which was powering the heaters in our koi pond and could have proven fatal to our fish (one is 20 years old!). He came out within hours of the first contact and spent a very long time figuring out the problem in absolutely miserable weather, and stuck to his quoted price, which was incredibly fair, despite being here much longer than planned. This time, we had him and a helper out to work on two outlets, one which was shorting and another that had previously been worked on by another electrician with the job left half done. They did both jobs efficiently and Eljin was able to get to the bottom of the problem the previous electrician could not, stating that the situation was really not that complicated. He is really smart, skilled and his prices are more than fair. We will not hesitate to call him anytime we need electrical work done. Thank you!!

This was the first time I used LightWork and I was very pleased. Eljin spend a goodly amt of time to thoroughly check possible solutions to a rather bizarre problem. Once he discovered the problem, he made another appt to come back that same day after he had gotten the necessary parts and checked on another project. He returned and promptly replaced the malfunctioning parts. SUCCESS! Throughout, he was prompt, professional and personable. I will definitely use him again and would recommend him to everyone.

Do you have an inspection coming up? I did and preliminarily I had another electrician evaluate my panels and I didn’t have a good feeling as he was making claims about my electrical system that just didn’t seem right as these panels had been previously inspected. It was inferred that I would need thousands of dollars worth of work. NOT TRUE!! Elgin made a couple of modifications and I passed with flying colors!!

The price was extremely reasonable!

Would highly recommend!!
