Stay away. We were lied to. We asked multiple times how was this free they repeated multiple times they received a grant that we would be duquesne lights supplier that's how it would save us every month. Its a lie you will pay!!!

We've had a positive experience with Ambia so far, as we await the inspection and activation of our solar panels installed a few days ago. Brinton's cold call was enthusiastic and informative. Nate B., who drew up and discussed the proposal with us, is courteous, knowledgeable, and prompt in responding to questions. He provided us with a customer reference when asked and checked in several times during the permitting and approval process. Scheduling the installation with Ashlea's help was a breeze. Our installation crew (Kedian M., James G., and Jacob L.) arrived on time, worked efficiently and cheerfully, and cleaned up thoroughly before leaving. Kedian answered every question I had and even reset the stove clock after the power had been turned off and restored. (A nice extra touch, like the handwritten thank you note Nate gave us after we signed the contract.)

One of the things Nate mentioned when meeting with us is Ambia's commitment to transparency, and we feel that's been the case to this point. After the installation, we received a helpful email detailing all the next steps, so we know what to expect. Ambia also handles the permitting process and the contacts with the utility company, which we appreciate. I hope to remember to update this review after our system is operational, but for now I can say my husband and I are very happy we went with Ambia. The company seems to be in it for the long haul with their customers, not just wanting to make a sale.

Much thanks to Samuel Schoepf for sitting down with us and customizing our solar system with us. He was very professional and was able to answer all our questions throughout the process. He even went as far as to leave a hand written letter!

Our installation and inspection was VERY quick. The whole process took a few hours, where as many of the posts I have read about other solar inspections took a fee months to complete!

Very satisfied with my experience.

Don't bother. They can't even train their sales representatives on what " No Solicitation " means. I pointed out the signs and the representative wasn't sure if that applied to him or not. That lack of professionalism left me with a negative impression on what would be expected from Ambia solar.

Zuri stopped by my house to sell me on your solar. She assured me that "her analyst ran the numbers" and was excited to share the plan for solar for my home, and he would be by between 6-7PM the following day.

I waited for him to show up instead of spending time with my children who went to the pool without me. At 6:51 Zuri texted me to say "My analyst went over your report again getting ready to come over, but he said you’re getting a better deal" with your electric company.

Don't waste your time dealing with dishonest and disrespectful sales people and "analysts". Absolutely shameful.

The installers were very courteous and did the installation quickly and efficiently. They explained everything they were doing and made sure I was comfortable with the installation.

PA crew 1 were a great group of guys who very efficiently installed the panels and made sure I knew what was going on and what to do next.

Our system was installed July 30th and as of October 17th, we are still waiting for activation. First billing is November 3rd. So to say we’re disappointed is an understatement.

Texas crew was great. Polite. Great at answering all my question. Cleaned up no mess left behind. Would definitely recommend thanks

Zack and Sam were polite, fast, and efficient installing 18 panels and electrical hookup in less then 3 hours. The also explained how the system works. A .gov website to show expected system annual output. Top notch guys.

The Texas traveling crew or extremely respectful, communicative, knowledgeable and efficient. Left my property the same, if not better than the way they found it! These guys were great and Ambia is lucky to have them!

I had excellent salespeople and installation teams everyone was personable and did a great job working with me. We had some communication difficulties with the planning people but my install team was able to make it work (thank you Justin!).

I wish that they would send the final layout picture in a more accessible document- I feel like I’m always digging for it and only finding my preliminary from Sam (my sales guy- also awesome)

Thanks Ambia, overall a really good experience.

The experience of getting everything set up was straight forward and very easy. I price break downs were easy to understand and our sales rep Nate set everything up very easily for us and we didn't have to do anything else. The permits and planning were all quickly done and we were approved for everything and installed a month later. We are paying the same price as what we would have been with Duquesne light, but now we have the investment for in a few years the panels cost will be fully paid off and our solar bills and cost will remain low. Very excited for this next step in our home improvements.

Each of the gentlemen performed with a conscientious attitude to complete each job scheduled to bring about good results for our installation. Each was kind, very respectful, had positive communication when asked questions and never gave us reason to disapprove of any actions being taken. I would definitely recommend each of these men to any poential customer in the future. The names I remember were Cole, Dewayne and Chris. When each job was completed, our properly was in the same condition as when they arrived for whatever job they were completing. Great staff members.

Excellent professional workers! Sam and his coworker were on time , respectfully, organized, and left the area clean.
The salesman that came to the house Dreydan, was on point. Knew answers to a ton of our questions even the ridiculous ones. I would recommend him to talk to anyone interested in solar.

I was very hesitant about solar but was
totally convinced and reassured after meeting with Nate Bond. After a month the panels were installed. The installers worked steady and so thorough, wonderful guys. We do understand it will take some time to see our benefits but we are looking forward to being apart of this new era. Progress will be made! A Big thanks to Ambia, Nate Bond and all involved with our Solar System.

Zach and Sam were phenomenal they did what I was told would be a 1.5 day job in one with excellent professionalism.

Nate B who helped me get this process started kept up with me the whole way and made sure things went smoothly.

BE VERY CAREFUL! A sales guy show up. It sounded good. I signed up. The next day, I decided to start researching different companies. This company is by far the most expensive. With a credit score of 800, they were going to charge me $250/month for 25 years. That means I would have paid $75,000 for their solar panels. That is absolutely insane.

I messaged my salesperson the day after signing, saying that I wanted to cancel. He called me the following morning. I explained the prices I obtained from more reputable companies. He said they couldn't match that and he could cancel for me. He said that I'd still receive emails for a week but to ignore them.

I get a text about a week and a half later from someone named Chad at Ambia Solar. He says "I saw your request to cancel the solar project. Can I call you to process that? usually only takes 2-3 minutes to process it."...Um..why? I already spoke to my salesperson and they cancelled it. This is very poor behavior on their part. They are trying to make it hard to cancel. I'm just hoping they know that if they keep proceeding I will not be paying them for any permits they have to get. I cancelled the day after signing which relieves me of any of that. This company is crazy

Crew 2 Michael, Will , and G were amazing. They showed up at a reasonable time, were fast, thorough and professional. They were super friendly and understanding about our 3 dogs and left the area exactly had they found it. They kept me updated all day and made changes to the plan when changes were requested. I was honestly dreading the installation process and these guys made it a breeze, I barely knew they were here. So far our experience with Ambia has been absolutely amazing to date Starting with Brinton who was extremely personable and well informed and professional as well. I would honestly recommend Ambia to anyone in our area. Thanks for you hard work guys!
