Showed up earlier than expected and did an excellent job for the problem I had. Tech was Dalton and I can't say enough about how thorough he was. Highly recommend South Hills Electric.

I highly recommend using South Hills Electric LLC for any problems you experience with your home electrical system.

We recently had a strange problem where the circuit went out to our microwave oven, several kitchen lights and one outlet in my upstairs home office. I checked the circuit breaker panel and no breakers were tripped. I checked all GFCI outlets inside and outside of the house and found no issues. I even checked the wiring behind the bad light switches and power outlets but no luck.

At that point I knew it was time to bring in the experts from South Hills Electric LLC.

Jake the technician arrived on time and did an outstanding job troubleshooting the problem, identifying root cause and quickly resolving the issue. He was very knowledgeable, professional, and friendly.

He quickly determined the problem was caused by a separate functioning push type outlet in my upstairs office that was bad and breaking the circuit - something I would never have thought to check.

Jake completed the entire job in about 1 hour and for a very fair price.

I am glad I use South Hills Electric LLC for all of my home electrical needs - so should you!

Jake at South hills electric quickly determined the problem with my furnace. The part needed to be special ordered but Jake was able to get it working until the part arrived 10 days later. I'm so grateful as it's been extremely cold. He came by today and installed the new part efficiently. He is so nice and so professional! I'll definitely use South hills electric again!!

Half of my electricity was blown due to a storm. The storm had had caused a power surge. From the first call made to south hills electric they had great customer service. Got both of my appointments that was required scheduled asap. Always called at least 20 minutes ahead and both of the technicians that came out (Delton and Steve) were both very knowledgeable. Took the time to ensure that everything that had happened and was needed to restore was fully understood. Also during and after made sure everything was back into place and very clean.

Dalton came out first to check out my busted water heater and give me a quote, super chill and explained everything clearly without making it a big deal, no pressure just straight-up honest. Isaiah showed up the very next day to do the work and man he killed it. Super respectful, knew exactly what he was doing, worked fast but didn’t cut corners. Even took the time to double check everything before he left and made sure I was good

Excellent work. On time and on budget. Installed new service line and cut off box for relocating hot water heater. Difficult existing conditions were handled competently. Mimimal amount of drilling to snake line between two rooms. Clean up was complete. No mess. Congenial and respectful staff who explained all work and answered all questions. Highly recommend this company for its quick and attentive response.

The technicians were polite proffesional and friendly. The quote was a bit high. They came out quickly, but I did use another company.

I recently contacted South Hills Electric after experiencing a partial power outage in my home. They promptly dispatched two electricians, Steve and Dalton, who were both knowledgeable and professional. They took the time to clearly explain the issue and the necessary repairs in a way that was easy to understand. The pricing was very reasonable, and the quality of their work exceeded my expectations. I’m extremely satisfied with the service and would definitely recommend South Hills Electric to others. The technician was excellent. Professional, efficient, and thorough. The scheduling was quick and easy. Have to give this 2 stars because of the rates. $525 to install a junction box, wire, and a new outlet in an open space (no wire fishing) and less than 10’ distance. I priced the cost of materials - less than $30. Yet they charged $150 for “installing” (no conduit or fishing required) 10ft of wire. $100 for installing a junction box, and $150 to install a surface mount receptacle. All this on top of the $129 trip charge. This was a very simple job; less than 2 hours in and out. I expected to pay between $250 and $300. I was so shocked that I called to see if there was a mistake, they assured me that there were no mistakes.
It is a shame because the service was great, but the prices for this simple work tell me I can’t afford to go back to them for future or more complex jobs.

Dalton was on time, professional, and extremely courteous. Even though they had my street blocked, he walked to my house to complete the job. He definitely fixed our problem.

The team at South Hills Electric has been very responsive in addressing some of the issues with my hot water boiler. There have been a few crisis moments during evenings and weekends where they were responsive and helpful.

My mom is 91 and relies on this company for her electric. They are fantastic! Always within the time frame they give us, they call just before arriving, and they are professional and provide excellent service. Jake has been terrific, always finds the problem and is quick, efficient, and great quality. Definitely out go to electric service.

Called another company that didnt show up and then gave a quote over the phone of 8 to 9 hundred dollars without kniwing the issue. Called south hills electric around noon and they sent a tech out the same day between 3 and 5. Dalton explained and showed us the problem with the burned receptical. He replaced it for us, answered all our questions, asked if we had any other issues, all for less then half the cost of the other guys.all in all, i would definately recommend you and use use again if another problem arises. Dalton was very professional and polite. If i could i would give you a 10 star rating. Thank you again.
