Dalton called ahead of arrival and was very professional and thorough. I have been using South Hills Electric for many yeasrs to check my AC in the Spring and Heating in the Fall. I am very pleased with their customer service and will continue to deal with them in the future.

When I called to book the gentleman who answered was so informative and upfront about cost. Then when Jake came out today he was so nice and knew quickly that it was Duquesne light who needed to replace our electrical box outside. He got them out to my house quickly and all our power was restored!
I was a nervous wreck my house was going to catch on fire they reassured me to not use any appliances until they came the next morning. Got me an appointment so quickly and called before he came so I knew he was on the way! I couldn’t be more happy and appreciate of South Hills electric. Thank you Jake for all your help!

South Hills Electric was great! We had power out to multiple outlets and rooms. The electrician was knowledgeable and explained the issue and resolution well. He was also very kind to my 3 boys under 10 who love to ask questions and watch any contractor that comes to our house. I would recommend south hills electric tin the future and will call them with other electrical needs.

Jake was our technician. He kept us informed when he was on his way, as well as keeping the workspace clean. He definitely is very detail oriented and customer focused!! I cannot praise Jake enough. Steve is knowledgeable and professional. After the storm Steve came in, talked me through the work needed and fixed everything and the cost was reasonable especially for an urgent issue

The service tech was very friendly, called me with a time frame of when he was going to arrive. I explained the problem, he quickly diagnosed the issue with the AC unit. Showed me the problem as well. He then checked to see if my unit was in warranty still, which it was, and then did the routine tune up. He said was fast, efficient and friendly. Would highly recommend.

Remodeling a home, South Hills Electric came in at a far better price than competitors, and the professionalism was not what you expect from "tradesman." Super nice folks. They finished the outside service, "all the way up" and a new, bigger panel in basement (and wired it), IN ONE DAY! Need it done fast, at the best price? Was very responsive when I called for service on our furnace. The furnace was acting up and not running correctly so called to see if they could come out the same day. Originally was suppose to come between 3pm and 5 pm but when Sven found out that I had turned the furnace off and that my mom was home by herself since I was at work, he called and said that he would be there shortly. So after 10 am he and a apprentice showed up and spent a hour trying to find the problem and finally fixed it but said that the heat exchanger might need to be replaced eventually. Thank you for such great service and was very nervous leaving my mom home with a furnace that wasn't working correctly.

Called them after our furnace suddenly died during the coldest day of the year. They had a technician there that day, and were able to replace the part the next day. The service was prompt, competent, and family. We were very happy with our technician, Dalton.

We had a further breakdown, with the igniter, just a few days later, and they again scrambled a technician, Jake, despite it getting a Sunday, who solved things that day. Not entirely thrilled that it wasn't noted in the first visit, but it's understandable.

Jack the technician was polite and very knowledgeable of the problem I was having with my air conditioner. He was able to find the problem and make the repair quickly. I also liked that he was there when he said he would be and the price was fair and reasonable. Keep up the good work.

So HIlls Electric has been handling all of my electrical and HVAC needs from a whole house unit, 5-7-10 ton roof top units on commercial bldgs, maintenance contracts on boilers, HVAC and scheduled maintenance contracts. These guys are awesome, courteous and never EVER a butt crack. Have not had any issues and often when I do have an issue and I call, they give me a solution over the phone....mainly because they are familiar with my systems. I can't say enough for them and I refer them to other s often.

I’ve been using South Hills Electric since we moved into our house in 2013. They are professional and responsive: they show up in the window promised, they do their work quickly without leaving a mess, and they communicate clearly about the work they are doing. Over the years they’ve installed a new furnace, air conditioner, and water heater for me, and I’ve always been happy with the work and had no problems with anything they’ve installed. They aren’t cheap but they aren’t the most expensive out there, either, and I’m willing to pay a little more for reliability. Definitely recommend!

A great experience with South Hills Electric. We had an emergency electrical problem and our power was shut off by Duquesne Light. Jake from South Hills Electric came out and explained everything, what needed to be done and why, and gave us a good price (a FRACTION of what another electrician quoted us - obviously a scam). Jake and his team were at our house that day until the job was complete - they were courteous and respectful of our home, and everything was cleaned up when they were done. The office staff coordinated an inspector to come out the next morning and then for Duquesne Light to reconnect that day. Jake even made sure he was here when Duquesne Light came out in case there were issues and he needed to be on hand. We could not be happier and are so glad Jake and South Hills Electric were available. A great company with fantastic electricians and staff.

On April 29, 2025, my property sustained damage from the severe storm that knocked out power and downed trees. When I got home from work, I found that two trees in the back of my house had fallen and ripped out the DLC power lines from the house, destroying the connection. After DLC informed me that I was solely responsible for hiring an electrician to repair the connection, I called South Hills Electric and spoke with Pat, who set up a visit to give me an estimate on the repairs. A week later, after talking to my insurance company, Dalton and Isaiah arrived at my property and installed a new connection and new electrical panel. They were professional and got the work done with minimal mess and within the estimated time frame. Dalton then returned two days later to hook up the DLC wires.
