The experience we had with Jared and his team was simply excellent from start to finish. He was very professional, prompt, and knowledgeable from the estimation phase to completion of our outdoor living space project. We immediately felt comfortable with his non-pressure approach to estimation and design.

Jared and his team are dependable, hardworking and extremely pleasant to work with, and we mean the whole team. Jared was able to help us reconfigure existing landscaping and hardscaping to bring our beds, fire pit area, etc. to a “final” state that we are extremely happy with. Something our past landscapers were unable to do. Jared is meticulous with every detail and treated our yard like it was his own. He was present throughout the entire job and made sure we were ok with the progress and any suggestions he had on changes/improvements to the plan. I would highly recommend him for any job, he and his team are worth every penny spent.

I have hired several landscapers in the last 3 years, prior to finding JJ Landscaping, and I can tell you without a doubt Jared and his team far surpass any of the other landscapers I have hired in the past. JJ landscaping completed a fairly big job of landscape installation and hydro seeding for grass.

One of the many things that sets this company and Jared apart from the others, is the pride he takes in his work. He was on the site daily, to ensure everything was going to plan. He even would make adjustments as needed. This in turn makes the quality of the job superb. Even after our job was complete, Jared would text us w/ further watering instructions secondary to the high temperatures and lack of rain.

Jared is fantastic w/ communication and keep us up to date with the project. He is always available to answer any questions that may arise. This is by far one of the most important qualities in a landscape company in my opinion.

His team is the hardest working I have seen. They clean up daily after their workday is completed.

Honestly, if you need any work w/ landscaping design, do not look any further and hire this company. Trust me, they are 100 steps above any other landscaping company.

We looked at a couple of different companies to create our outdoor space, but Jared was far and away the best. From initial design conversation sto the final product, Jared created an outdoor space that exceeded our expectations. He used the character and design of our house and brought in elements that are timeless, functional and visually pleasing for everyone. His professionalism, communication, and timeline was an 11 out of 10. He took our blank backyard and transformed into a space we can use for years to come. His crew was professional, efficient, highly-skilled and had a strong work ethic. To say we are happy with the end result is an understatement. Our yard looks like something out of a magazine. Jared never cut a corner, shared options and worked to make it a space that is functional and a beautiful addition to our home. If I could give more than 5 stars I would!

So glad to work with Jared and his crew! We had a fairly large landscaping/hardscaping project done on the front portion of our property. Jared worked with us to plan a contemporary design that matched the style of our house. From the start, we could see that he is an excellent communicator and well versed in design and horticulture. Jared and his team were amazing. I had a general idea of what I wanted to do, but Jared took it to the next level! His vision and his suggestions were right on. In fact, he added several features (without additional cost) that really enhanced the project. He is definitely detail-oriented and is a hands-on manager---I met with him several times during the installation of my fire pit (see picture). He also used Belgian bricks to form a beautiful border around some flower beds--and tied it all together by adding Belgian bricks to the fire pit. . His team was wonderful---they definitely have a work ethic! I highly recommend Jared Johnston Landscaping.

Jared installed a new lawn and landscaping at our newly constructed home. He and his crew did an exceptional job. They were professional, provided guidance and executed as promised. We received regular updates on the progress and next steps. It is rare to find a contractor a who effectively communicates and does a great job. I will use Jared again for any of our landscaping projects.

Our front yard was completely overgrown with weeds and just awful looking. We also had several trees that decided to die all at once together adding to the haunted house vibe.

Anyhow, Jared very respectfully diagnosed our problems and drew up a low maintenance solution for us (we are not skilled yard people). When his crew got to work, they really got to work. I have never seen such hard working people. Anyhow, with Jared's knowledge and vision, the front of our house looks incredible now. We went from the worst looking yard in the neighborhood to at least top 5.

I hope to post pictures soon when some things grow in a little more. I also wish I had a before picture to show just what an incredible transformation Jared and his team performed.

JJ installed an Ohio stone retaining wall, graded our yard, planted trees and shrubs + mulched around our yard, and hydro seeded. Jared and his team were extremely professional throughout the whole process. Not the cheapest on the block, but there is no question they overdelivered on value. He knows what will look great as a finished product and made helpful suggestions throughout the process. Very knowledgeable about plant species and care. Highly recommend.
