We have super high bushes in our backyard that are not easy to trim. Ryan has always been able to schedule us in a timely manner and we are very happy with his work. The bushes look great when he is finished. Ryan is very professional and does great work.

Ryan is the best I have found for taking care of my lawn. His honesty is one of his best qualities. In the past, lawn cutters would come even during a drought when the grass wasn’t growing. Ryan doesn’t take advantage like that. He cleaned up my leaves in the fall and took out a stump. I can’t say enough good things about him. And we’re not related! He was referred to me by a friend who extolled his virtues.

I couldn’t be happier with the work done by Zingrone Landscaping. Almost all the grass in my backyard died over the last two summers, and I needed someone to assess the problem and recommend a remedy. From the first meeting with Joe, I had a sense that he had the expertise to do what was needed. When his crew came to do the work, they were friendly, professional and respectful of my property. I look forward to having a beautiful backyard again.

I could not have had a better experience with Zingrone Landscaping. The work was meticulous and impressive.

Zingrone Inc. Construction and Landscaping replaced our small backyard pond’s skimmer box, waterfall pump, and added new plumbing to circulate water within the pond itself. They provided a detailed estimate shortly after coming out to review the worksite and showed up to do the work as scheduled. They were courteous, professional, and handled any complications that came up during the project. Even followed up the next day after completion to check on things.

This company is wonderful. The employees are very professional, and the owner is knowledgeable and available. They completed a large landscaping job for me, and when I was not thrilled with one small element, they immediately made adjustments the next day and reviewed it with me to make sure it was how we wanted it. It is such a relief to find a company that does an excellent job and responds promptly whenever there might be an issue. We will be using them again. As will our neighbors who were impressed with our new yard.

This company quoted me ~$16k for a job that a well-established local nursery, in business since 1974, quoted ~$9k for. That’s nearly double for the exact same materials, labor, and work. The only difference? This company tried to pad their profits by more than half, hoping I wouldn’t notice.

The job wasn’t anything special—basic, boring, straightforward work. Yet, they tried to spin it as though it were some monumental task to justify their wildly inflated price. I’m sure if they respond, they’ll trot out the usual excuses: "Oh, it’s more difficult than it seems" or "We charge more because of our experience." Don’t buy it. It’s all BS. The reality is, they’ll take you to the cleaners if they think they can get away with it.

Save yourself the headache and your hard-earned money. Get multiple quotes and don’t fall for the smooth-talking sales pitch. There are plenty of honest companies out there who will do the same work for a fair price—this one isn’t it.

Update: The owner replied to my review by accusing me of being “racist” because I sent a South Park clip as a joke about the pricing, and he threatened to “contact the authorities” That response tells you everything about how they handle feedback.

Joe and his crew worked on a few of our projects (Landscaping, pavers, walls, etc) and every project was done extremely well and very professionally. I will continue to use Zingrone Landscaping for all future projects. His communication was excellent. Thank you for your help!

We hired Zingrone Inc to clear rubble, trash and old trees from an overgrown empty lot next to our house. There was concrete rubble, and piles of reeds that had been cut down and never removed. It was causing mice issues in our neighborhood. Zingrone Inc was responsible for grading the land, removing the trash, and planting grass to turn the lot into a useable lawn. I am extremely happy with the final result. The grass has grown in evenly and there is a slight slope. Joe and the other team members were professional, transparent, and very informative. The work is very high quality, and I highly recommend.

From first meeting to last day of work it was a pleasure to work with Joe and his crew. Cost of project was $17,500 which included creating beds for 64 plants and shrubs around three sides of our house. It took 2 weeks to complete. Joe delivers on what he promises and his prompt communication instills confidence. He is different from landscapers that work in our neighborhood who use the same design and shrubs/plants for each house, no matter it's structure. We wanted something that fits the architecture of our house and Joe worked with us on achieving that vision. Excellent on communication, pricing, design, knowledge, professionalism (both he and his crew), and scheduling. Zingrone is the company you want if you are looking for fresh, innovative design and an overall great experience!

I had Zingrone Landscaping do some front yard work for me in May. I had numerous spots in the yard where I had either no grass or dead grass. In addition, I had areas where stones were popping up, overtaking the grass. Looking at it now, you can't tell I had any issues. Joe even made sure that the areas got hosed down when I was out of town. Zingrone also did work for me last September. I couldn't be happier with the work that was done. I wouldn't hesitate in having them do work for me in the future. Joe Zingrone is a pleasure to talk to and work with.

I have a small but steep front yard in Squirrel Hill that is planted with ivy but was terribly overgrown with wild grape, bindweed, and other things. The slope is too steep for me to manage and it was a real eyesore. Zingrone came and did the work about a day after I signed the contract and the guy who did it worked really hard and did a great job. He made sure that I was happy with it before he left and gave me some tips on how to maintain it. This is the second biggish job yard maintenance that Zingrone has done for me, in addition to bi-weekly mowing--and I couldn't be more pleased! Great to work with!

Joe and his crew did an outstanding job transforming my overgrown 25 year old landscaping into a beautiful creation. What was a short time ago and embarrassment is now the envy of all of my neighbors. I could not be more pleased with the excellent work done by his extremely talented crew.

I had a totally overgrown city corner lot. Joe and his team cleared the lot of a rusty broken chain link fence, vines, bushes, weeds, and poison ivy quickly and efficiently. The lot was then graded, making it a perfect blank slate to install the hardscape. Joe was masterful at taking my abstract ideas and turning them into a work of art. I wanted a design that is low maintenance, aesthetically pleasing, and appropriate for an urban setting and I got EXACTLY that! His team of workers are skilled, professional, and every so patient! This was not an easy job, especially during this summer’s heat wave. The logistics were formidable, but they were certainly well equipped for the job.
