Great service! I asked Joe to “help me make the front of my house look better” and he did all of the brainstorming, made suggestions and problem solved where necessary. Very knowledgeable, friendly and easy to work with. Highly recommend.

They removed a collapsing retaining wall and installed a new versa-lok wall at my house in Swissvale. Great communication the entire time, reasonably priced, and finished the work in a couple of days even after discovering/removing a SECOND retaining wall behind the first. Would definitely use again.

We had 150ft of drainage installed and two sections of our yard re-graded because of excessive surface water. JBirds completed the project as we discussed, on schedule, at a good price and was very respectful to my existing landscaping. They even took the christmas decorations off a tree they had to move before they dug it up, which made my wife very happy. I would call them again for sure. Thanks guys !

French drain, surface drain, sidewalk and reseeding work was completed today. The work was done very professionally and a sidewalk was replaced well. The employees were very qualified and handled rock and trenching issues very well. Most importantly, the water problem was resolved!

JBird’s Landscaping replaced my front porch, sidewalk, and steps. They did a wonderful job. The price was very reasonable and the work they did was great. Jay and his entire crew were very friendly and knowledgeable. I would call JBird’s back for any future landscaping or concrete work.

They have done a major earthwork and waterproofing project around my basement which prior to that leaked like a sieve. It is all dry now thanks is to them. Well done!

We had a 60' Versa Lok wall installed by J Birds Landscaping. They started and completed the job in less than a week and were very professional in the way they completed the work. Exceptional work done by Jay and his employees from start to finish. Thanks for a job well done!!

The actual retaining wall I had them do is acceptable, but the work that was done caused the pipe from the nearby spigot to break inside the basement causing thousands of dollars in water damage. Additionally, a 110 and 220 line was hit by the workers that ran from the house to the garage and they refused to take any responsibility for it and would not submit to their insurance, sending a letter from their lawyer stating it was not their fault. Finally, the overall cleanup after the job was completed was unsatisfactory with chunks of concrete left for me to deal with and mud and dirt all over the driveway.

We needed a busted retaining wall removed quickly and everyone I had talked to was completely booked for months. J Bird's landscaping was able to fit us in and get this done in a day! I am definitely impressed with this company and will be looking forward to using them again in the future. Very affordable, very easy to talk to and get what exactly what you want/need.

Jay and his team came out for a retaining wall that needed to be replaced on. They were on time, very professional and courteous. Did an excellent job and even made took some of our suggestions into consideration with the build of the wall. They worked tirelessly and kept the work space very clean. Would not hesitate to hire again or recommend to a friend!

JBird’s Landscaping did an exterior French drain around our house. They were fast but also very thorough. We were very impressed with the attention to detail and care they took to do the work right, especially being so close to the house and foundation. We’ve had leaking/wet yard issues since buying our house and finally got the work done. The price was great and we couldn’t have been happier with the job. Highly recommend!

Jay was contracted to excavate a hillside and construct a wall in front of a garage. He arrived on time to bid the project and gave an expert opinion on the best products and methods. Jay was with his crew for the duration of the project and expertly operated large equipment in very tight spaces. He even was an excellent liaison between some picky next door neighbors. The job was completed on time and on budget. I can not recommend Jbird's landscaping enough.

Jay and crew replaced our wooden retaining wall with Versa-lok stone. We are very happy with the finished product. Our neighbors can't believe the entire job was finished in 1 day!

We had an issue with water laying in our backyard. Got a couple estimates and J Birds was the best price and offered above and beyond what others were willing to do. They came put in a big French drain system in my backyard and down the side, also putting some trenches in as well. With all the rain we have been getting my yard now dries pretty quick and the water no longer ponds. From start to finish they were pretty quick. I will definitely use them again for future projects.
