I have used Pittsburgh Lumberjack Tree Service several times , both in my work as Grounds Keeper at a local university and on my own property. They are prompt, professional, and clean up after themselves. I have and do highly recommend them.

I have used Pittsburgh Lumberjack for three different jobs. Their office staff is professional and timely with emails and phone calls. The quality of the actual work is top notch. It can be hard to find contractors that conduct themselves professionally. Pittsburgh Lumberjack does a great job from start to finish at a fair price.

I am a first time user. I called the number on their website and got response quickly. They arrived on time. I removed one big tree and trimmed several others. The work was done nicely and my back yard was as clean as nothing has happened. I will recommend Lumberjack Tree service to others and will use it in the future.

Excellent job and great price. I had two trees removed that were extremely close to the house and difficult to get to. I had contacted three well known companies for bids. None of them got back to me. Joe gave me a bid on the spot and at an excellent price. I would highly recommend using this tree service.

Joe, Tim, Ann and the crew are all Top Notch! This is the second time that we have used Pittsburgh Lumberjacks. They did a great job the first time when they took down four enormous pine trees. This time they took down a huge maple, ground the stump, planted a new tree in the same spot. In addition, they trimmed both of our front maples, dead wooded the
willow and will be cabling one of the maples this week. They have a hard working team that never stops and the clean up is so good, you hardly know that they were there. Great company! Great people! Fantastic job! Thank you all!

I reached out for an estimate and was very pleased with the timely response and professionalism throughout the entire process. They recognized the urgency of the situation and showed up the next day to take down a nuisance tree that posed a danger to both my neighbors and my house. I would absolutely recommend this company to anyone who needs any tree work done.

Pittsburgh Lumberjack Tree Service was fantastic! I approached them while they were working on a neighbor's yard and requested a quote. They stopped by my house the same day and gave me a (very fair) quote within a few days. They removed two very large trees from the side of my house, ground the stumps, and trimmed a large overgrown tree. They were wonderful and I will happily use them again in the future!

Very efficient and reasonably priced! They came out and gave me an estimate within a few days of contacting them and less than a week after that the work was done. Other places were quoting me crazy amounts and said they couldn't come out to do the work for months. I'd totally recommend them for all your lumberjack needs!

I’ve had a total of 5 fairly large trees removed from my property on two different occasions. Two the first time and three the second time. The woman I spoke to on the phone was very friendly and was quick to get ahold of you with any scheduling changes. The price both times were very reasonable and they were in and out in no time without even so much as a twig left behind. They even took it upon themselves to clear up pile of old large branches that I piled up next to one of the trees over the years. They were also very careful not to damage any of my newly planted trees ( all are about two feet tall and could be easily missed) with the equipment they backed onto my lawn. I’ll definitely be hiring them again if need be and would highly recommend them.

The Pittsburgh Lumbaerjack is the best company to take care of your tree needs. They did an incredible job taking down 3 trees that were aiming towards my home. There were so many things that they could have hit when taking them down, but their extreme caution they were successful in avoiding the house and play set in the yard. These guys are the best and I will have them back again. I have been using their service for several years and they never disappoint!!

My husband and I were EXCEPTIONALLY pleased with our entire experience with Greater Pitt Tree Service LLC. Not knowing who to call to trim our two Japanese maple trees, I saw their ad in our Church Bulletin; so, I took a chance and called them. I left a message and within five minutes, I received a phone call back from the General Manager and we immediately set-up an appointment for an Arborist to come out and look at the trees. He came out the next day to evaluate the request and gave me a reasonable estimate. So far so good -- I was quite impressed with the prompt service and efficiency of these two individuals. Shortly thereafter, I was given a date of service. The three gentlemen who came out did an AMAZING job of trimming and GREAT clean-up afterwards. They, too, were very professional, helpful and friendly. At all times, we were treated with respect and politeness from everyone at Greater Pitt Tree Service LLC.

Greater Pitt Tree is an awesome company to work with! It’s hard starting out financially as a new home owner, but I was offered a very affordable price, which I’m so thankful for. Everything was scheduled in a timely manner, and everyone was very responsive. The crew left the property even more neat and tidy than it was when they arrived, which I appreciated so much! Jimmy, Carlos, and Stephanie are all so nice and great to work with. If you’re considering having any tree work done, look no further! Im so happy that this summer I will be able to sit and enjoy the sun in my patio now.

Amazing service the very same week I initiated the quote request. The crew was professional and great at their job. I even told them that I was more then happy to recommend their work to serious inquiries but I was planning to take all the credit for their handiwork in casual conversation. Very pleased with Greater Pitt tree service. The arborist was very knowledgeable and explained things about our tree that we never knew. The crew arrived a week later and followed the arborist’s directions when trimming the tree. I would be happy to refer this company to anyone needing their expertise.

I have two big oak trees in my yard, they are beautiful and unfortunately another tree company came and butchered them last summer after a branch fell on my roof. Because of this, it caused possible long term damage, Arborist Troy came and explained the treatments he could do to prolong the life of my beautiful trees. Troy showed up on time and spent the morning, making sure the job was done and with care. I am happy with Greater Pitt, my only regret is not having them come to me sooner, but I am confident my oaks will be around for a long time because of the care they received. Thank you Troy! The company delivered very efficient and professional services exactly as promised. The sales representative for the company did a very thorough job of explaining the entire process, and the cost estimate provided seemed very reasonable. Payments receipts and scheduling were promptly issued, and the coordination of work was clearly communicated through every step of the process. The workers that came to our house got straight to work, and they managed to safely remove two pine trees from our property in about two hours. The whole operation is a well-oiled machine from start to finish.

Greater Pitt Tree Service was a Fantastic experience..First from Mike M. Coming out to our home and being extremely friendly,fair,and professional…He said our job would take 3 hours and he was exactly right…The Tree Team arrived at 8:15 am and started working at 8:30am and was totally finished by 11:30am..The Team of Christian,Tony,Hugo,and Jauvier were simply amazing,hardworking,and a true experts in there craft…We couldn’t be happier with the outcome of a sad situation of Lantern flies killing our beautiful trees that have stood for 60-80 years and our grown sons played on as children and we are saddened that our Grandchildren can’t do the same..
