Had a bed bug problem in our apartment building and Nick from Sani products came and sprayed. He came back several times and went above and beyond to make our apartment bedbug free.

They were the only pest control that responded to me and fit me in the same day. Very effective service and friendly as well. Dealt with invasive yellowjackets with no issue.

I wanted to call another exterminator but my landlord requested we call these “professionals”. My boyfriend had just rid his apartment of a pretty bad case, so we knew all the signs and what we were up against. I had a bagged bed beg that I found on my bed skirt, I have plenty of bites on my body. And when these dude couldn’t find any bed bugs they asked my room mate how my mental health was... I am beyond disgusted with the level of professionalism this company displayed. Bed bugs are a large enough of a hassel. Do yourself a favor and call literally anyone else.

They came to my house twice to deal with carpenter bees. Both times they left a message saying they would come, didn’t wait for me to confirm the time was OK for me, just showed up and started spraying my deck with bug poison (I have edible plants nearby). The second time, I didn’t even get a time estimate, I just suddenly heard someone shuffling around my deck one day at 9 am. It was terrifying.

By the way, it took me calling them 4 times over the course of a month to get them to come a second time (I was taking advantage of a warranty they gave me). Also, so far the bees seem unconcerned about the poison.

Bought a house which was serviced by this company. Termite traps were not maintained. Some were side ways, some were empty and some were buried. Found obvious activity during the last few years.

They also use an answering service and are impossible to get a hold off. Avoid.

Also they send aggressive marketing via things that look like bills.

Edit: Also found extensive carpenter ant infestation. These people are crooks. Amazing.

Edit: These crooks also drilled a hole through my downspout pipes. Absolutely disfunctional company who will destroy your house.

We bought a house on the contingency that the seller get a pest problem resolved. All this company did was charge the seller $60 saying that the couldn't find the pests' entrance point, and left. No traps, no poison, no follow up. When we moved in it was clear that there was still very much a pest problem. I contacted another company and they immediately identified at least 2 possible entrance points, sealed them, and placed traps.

We love and recommend the services that Sani-Products Pest Control provide for our building. Ken is the best! He pays attention to detail, is very accurate, knowledgeable and kind. We have been using Sani for years and continue to do so.

This was the second time we've used the Bug Muggers (Sani-Products).The first was at our old house in Greensburg for termites and now after moving back to the Pittsburgh area, at our new house for carpenter ants. I was referred to them by both my sister and my dad... they're now used regularly by our family! I have nothing but amazing things to say about their business. They are reasonably priced, on-time, and SUPER friendly and communicative (it's SO nice to be able to shoot them a text instead of waiting and playing phone tag)!

Both Jim and Nick are the absolute best! They are so kind and professional and I really just enjoy having conversations with them! My husband and I both work from home and have a baby and a large dog. Nick had availability on one specific day to treat our house but I did not happen to have childcare that day and we needed the baby and dog to be out of the house. He was SO flexible and accommodating with us so that we could make it work. My husband was supposed to let him in but when a work call went long, I actually had to speak to Nick through our doorbell and let him in. While I felt HORRIBLE about it, Nick was so nice about it and go with the flow. My husband eventually was able to come down and speak with him, but overall the entire process was SUCH A BREEZE. Nick texted me when all was done and we were good to go!

They always go out of their way to make it work for their customers...they really go above and beyond. With Covid and remote work and just being a busy mom, it's hard to sometimes get everything to line up properly and make it all work. I really trust Bug Muggers and never worry that I'm going to be mistreated or priced unfairly. I love supporting smaller businesses, especially when they're run by such great and nice people who genuinely value their customers. It's hard to find anymore. I always joke that I'll be their #1 customer forever because of my fear of bugs haha (I just KNOW I'll be calling again once bee/wasp season comes around LOL). With a new house, we don't know what problems we may come across as the seasons change and as we continue to renovate, so I really feel great knowing that these guys are just one call away.

I rarely write reviews, but I feel confident recommending them to anyone and if you're looking for pest control, take a chance on them. You won't regret it! Thanks again! :)

High Chimney sweep & Repair and Gas Fireplace of Pittsburgh PA and John are fabulous. Knowledgeable service, deep understanding of the chimney, incredibly clean and prompt. Not only did they get our wood stove and chimney in great shape but taught us a lot about best practices to keep it working great.
