Wonderful people. Came right on time got to work and got the job done right. Very pleased. Had vent system cleaned out and the next day had carpet cleaned in bedroom.

Very knowledgeable and professional personnel. Family Room carpeting had not been cleaned since initial installation over 10 years ago. it now looks marvelous.

The only reason this review is 2 stars and not 1 is because the gentleman that came to do the work was very nice and courteous, and I think that deserves something.

I am thoroughly disappointed with the actual results of service however.
When they came to do the estimate to clean my sectional sofa I thought it was very very expensive even with the 50% off special they were running. The estimate guy convinced me however that they were professional and had a guarantee that they would not damage my furniture and that you dont know what you might get with the 'cheaper guys' so I decided I would go for it.

This sofa is vintage and one of a kind and I just love it so I wanted to try and clean it. Well the guy came. He sprayed it with some cleaner out of a spray bottle for 'pre treatment' then he had a bucket of soap and water and he sort of scrubbed it with a big sponge thing and then he sucked it up with the hose from the truck. He got here at 2:55 even though they said between 1 and 3 and he left at 3:56. The whole hour he was here I watched him and he said "it might look a little better when it dries" "I dont think this is going to brighten up" "At least it will smell clean and be sanitized"

In the end it doesnt look any cleaner. $175 down the drain. This service would have been $300 if I didnt have the coupon. I have never had upholstery cleaning before, what a joke! I would have at least spent more time on each square inch had I tried it myself and maybe that little extra time or elbow grease would have made more of a difference. NEVER TRYING THIS AGAIN. I could have spent less than half of that and had 'the cheaper guy' come out and do the same thing and be less disappointed because at least the cost would have been less. So much for going with the professionals! I just wish, If they knew they couldnt do anything for me they would have just told me 'hey look, cleaning this isnt going to make a difference", or at least after trying a spot they said this isnt worth $175 lady sorry. Nope. "at least it smells cleaner" thanks :( My sofa still looks dingy and now im broke :(

I am a repeat customer of Coit of PGH, I was so impressed with the job the Residential Sales Representative Nick Coholic did, I knew I would use them again. He was punctual,helpful,knowledgeable and most of all very professional. I really think it is important acknowledge when someone goes above and beyond all expectations… Nick did just that!

Customer services is absolutely wonderful! I was very disappointed when my area rug was returned after a week- it looked exactly the same as it did when they took it. I was very displeased but they took it back and actually cleaned it because when it was returned yesterday- it was beautiful! Will most definitely use again!

I've had nothing but great experiences with this company Paul is my salesmen. I have carpets cleaned a few times a year at a commercial facility in Monroeville they accommodate the after-hours work and always do a great job!

Drenched carpet, quoted wrong pricing, nothing changed except left with hard carpet. The carpet was laid 2 years ago, just looking for brightening of traffic areas. There were no stains! Took over 3 days to dry was such a swamp every window was fully steamed. Never again!!!! Don't waste your money!!!!

After having my furnace replaced, I hired COIT Pittsburgh to clean my ductwork. After they cleaned the ducts, I continued to have dust/soot coming out of the ducts. They came back out to "seal" the ducts as I was told the blower on my new furnace was more powerful, and blowing what was still left in the ducts out. After the "sealing" process, it got worse. I called and was told it had to dry. It got no better after several days and COIT agreed to refund my money. (This took 5 weeks.) Still having an issue with dust/debris being blown everywhere, I called my HVAC guy who suggested replacing the ducts. When he came to quote that, he noticed there was no evidence that the ducts had been cleaned (he explained they are typically drilled and plugged in order to get the cleaning apparatus into the ducts). When he took the ducts out, it was more evident that there was a serious issue with the cleaning. HANDS FULL of dirt,dust and debris remained in the ductwwork!!!! I contacted not only the manager, but the owner of Coit Pittsburgh. Responses were not timely or consistent. On more than one occasion, I had to ask for the courtesy of a response. The explanation from the owner, Don Sebastion, was "We are only human, and sometimes fail to live up to our standards as the leader in our industry." So, I incurred the cost of replacing ducts and many hours of cleaning up a mess that would not have been necessary had COIT done what they were hired to do!!!! "We are human" hardly seems to be an explanation for accepting money for a job that evidence suggests wasn't even attempted!!! I would not recommend ANYONE hire this company for duct cleaning. Hopefully, the way they handle the other portions of their business are more competent and ethical.

This company came to do air duct cleaning and my husband already did most of the work by taking down all the vents in the whole house. When i asked the manager why did your workers charge me $395.00 for 40 minutes of work. He was suppose to get back to me and never did. I will never call them again or refer them to any. The will over charge you and you will never know until someone brings it to your attention.

Did job neatly thoroughly and quickly .From a previous cleaning yrs. ago the ducts already had the holes prepared which made there job a little easier. From their previous visit for estimate l was already quoted a price in which a 35% discount was given and because it took less time than expected more of a discount was given. I chose a Sat. for my convenience and was called 1/2 he prior to visit .Ducts were cleaned and sanitized ,won't need cleaning again for several yrs. Price was just a little over 300 dollars for 5 room 1bath 12 vents . In home free estimate prior to the choice of a date that you need it done lm sure all estimates vary it's up to you to accept or not .l was satisfied.

I had service in Monroeville on Bucknell Dr. The carpet was very stained and dirty. The tech was great, friendly, efficient and knew his job completely.
The carpet looks like new and every stain was removed. Will use Coit again.

Made an appt for estimate on cleaning refinishing a hardwood floor after plaster fell on it. Rep told me late morning around 11-11:30 am . This guy shows up 2 HOURS EARLY. I'm not ready but ok fine, come in. This guy also didn't even know if it is hardwood and suggested deep cleaning but no idea what finish could be applied. Completely unknowledgeable and not professional with time frame. Called their office and this same woman rep offered nothing but excuses, no apology, no rectifying the visit. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY FOR ANY CLEANING SERVICES. PERIOD.

Had tile grout cleaned. Tech spilled solution on my stainless steel appliances. I was left a message that check was in the mail by Bob the manager but after 2 weeks when I had not received it I called and was told it was cashed which is easy to prove that I did not. The secretary Sam hung up on me. Use any other service to clean because you could end up with your house looking worse without accountability on their end.

Within 24 hours of posting this review, COUT dropped off a check for damages to my appliances.

I had my ducts cleaned by COIT Great service. You could hear the debris from 53 years going through the hoses. The 2 gentlemen that came to the house explained everything and were friendly as well as professional.

Coit was hired to come out to our rental house to clean floors, cabinets, walls, and ceilings. It is partially our fault for trusting someone did a job you hired them to do but we were met out by the workers which we then paid. After going through the house we noticed nothing was actually cleaned we called them back out and they confirmed the work wasn't done the house was still a mess after many calls to them to follow up they say we owe them money that they didn't charge us and tried to make us pay them after admitting they didn't do the work that was in the contract. After many more attempts to resolve the issue they refused to do anything. Terrible company with terrible customer service.

Have used this company to clean my drapes For YEARS - no issues , happy with service . I called this time and they sent a very rude condescending individual named Steve who’s main concern was how old my drapes were. I had my drapes custom made and he acted like they were garbage .I’d have to sign a release , they wouldn’t be responsible , so on and so forth, ok fine then he looks at my kitchen drapes , new and never been cleaned and said they will be ok and then the next sentence out of his mouth was to sign a release for them too . After just telling me 2 seconds before it was ok . Then we asked if they could be cleaned with chemicals while hung while cleaned , previous coit person did this . Back to all the bs about age of the drapes . He was rude , arrogant and I will never use coit again . Need to learn how to treat customers with respect .

Have used COIT a number of times over the last few years. They have cleaned carpets, have cleaned a number of our area rugs, have cleaned our window treatments, and today cleaned some of our furniture. They do great work and are always professional and respect our property. Have used other cleaning companies in the past but once now that I found COIT I now won't use anyone else.

Bernie and Rico were awesome sauce this is a before and after yes my floors were dirty but thanks to Coit I'll always be back. Thanks Marianne Mason

The workers that came to clean 2 rooms; hall & steps, were very nice & polite. They worked quickly and though my rugs look great, they were still wet in areas even 4 days later. Now my house smells like a wet mop! Which is worse than it was before they cleaned my rugs from my old dog that passed away peeing in my house. Very disappointed...

Great experience! Professional and easy to schedule. We had carpet and a sofa cleaned. Eric did a fantastic job!
