I am very pleased with the yard work I had done. I had two large areas that were extremely over grown. The workers were very professional and extremely hard working at a very reasonable price. I would highly recommend them for any type of yard work and I plan to use them again in the future for my landscaping.

We had two large and difficult projects that needed done on a deadline. One was the clearing of a hillside that had become overgrown, and the other was cleaning of a sidewalk that had dirt from a hill next to it that had spilled over and rendered the sidewalk almost useless. Both were completed as promised in terms of appearances and time. We will definitely use MLS Landscape & Design again.

MLS completely removed our lawn and planted new seed. They also planted colorful plants and flowers. Everything grew in beautifully!

We are very happy that we chose MLS. They were easy to work with. They did a great job at a reasonable price. Our landscaping looks great and the drainage issues were addressed.

Great, high-quality landscaping at a reasonable price. We have used Matt’s Lawn Service at two homes, both with yards that are large and have challenging slopes. They’ve always done a GREAT job. Our old house was in Whitehall, and most recently, I called on a Monday to see if they could service our house in Peters. Before they could even call back, they came out on Tuesday to check out the job and cleaned up our lawn same day. Kellen and team did a BEAUTIFUL job! Super friendly too. We generally try to mow ourselves but it’s so helpful to have MLS as our go-to for lawn care when we need it.

I needed Sylvan to tackle roughly an acre of lawn that had been miserably neglected and to completely re-think a landscape plan for the front of my home. They did a fantastic job giving me a ton of options, presenting me with detailed plans, accurate estimates, and communicated throughout the process. Brian did an incredible job providing a new landscape that the entire neighborhood loves. My lawn looks better than I thought possible (and it's still early in the season). I could not recommend Sylvan more enthusiastically for a professional and full service landscape business.

We have been working with James and Sylvan Gardens for two years now and it has been fantastic. They were able to completely transform our backyard from an overgrown mess into a colorful and eye catching scene. James is always very responsive and quick to answer and address any questions or concerns. If you are considering commercial or residential landscaping and you do not know where to start I suggest you call Sylvan.

The Sylvan Gardens team recently relocated a patio and installed sod in our backyard. They were reasonably priced compared to other bids and were great to work with. Will definitely look to use them again for landscaping projects in the future.

Brian and his crew were very professional, timely and worked very hard. He continues to monitor the progress of our plantings and will replace any that didn't quite make it. It is hard to find trustworthy and reliable landscapers but Sylvan exceeded our expectations!

We had a HUGE pile of leaves (a dump-truck or more) on our driveway (which I blew there with a leafblower from around the house). We paid a lot of money to get them removed last year. I put a request on Home Advisor, and got only one response--from the guy who did it last year. I flagged John down when he was in the neighborhood, and he said he could do the job. He and his crew arrived today when they said they would and finished the job in less than a hour. They were fast and efficient. Very pleased with their services, and hope to hire them for our other landscaping needs.

Sylvan Gardens has serviced two of our properties these past two years. Their landscape designs have added so much value and overall curb appeal. Their workmanship is top quality. You as a purchaser will get a great return on your investment.

They did such an amazing job. They executed the design I was hoping for, offered great recommendations on plants, and provided amazing service and installation. They were incredibly responsive, showed up when they said they would, and created a beautiful landscape design we are so happy with.

I cannot say enough great things about Sylvan! Brian met with us (several times) to come up with a design for our small backyard that was essentially unusable because of a weeded hillside and swampy yard.

Most other landscapers came out, took one look, and said "put in a retaining wall" and gave us outrageous prices. Brian's plan took into account that a retaining wall would most likely fail because of the amount of water coming off of the hillside. His plan that included a boulder wall and dry creek bed is perfect!

Our crew was headed by Guillermo and they were awesome! My husband and I couldn't wrap our heads around how they were going to do it even as it was shaping up. Their skills and knowledge amazed us and we still can't believe what they pulled off.
