I was getting frustrated with all the berries and twigs falling on my back deck so I decided to contact a tree service I was also getting my garage redone and needed some tree removal around the garage. CPL contacted me in one business day even was willing to FaceTime me so that he could give me a quote came out the next day with a team of at least six people and completely changed my entire deck and backyard I’m so happy with the service he was very nice he allowed me to point out other dead tree limbs to be removed his prices are very reasonable and his overall customer service was amazing. I would highly recommend CPL!

Storm back on July 28, 2022 snapped off one trunk of a three trunk Hemlock and deposited it into my neighbors back yard by way of their shed also. Chad was recommended and responded the same day I reached out. Provided an reasonable estimate and two days later the entire tree was gone. Thanks Chad and guys for a job well done.

I contacted CPL Landscape and Tree Service with several other positively reviewed tree companies that either didn't return my phone call or failed to keep the agreed upon appointment. Chad at CPL came out the same day I called and gave me a fair quote on the removal of a large dead maple and trimming of a large pair of elm trees. Chad and his crew showed up on time on 1/17/21and did a great job. The warned me ahead of time that there might be some scarring of the lawn from the removal. There was some but it's nothing that a little dirt and seed won't cure once spring is here. They had the chipper on site and did a good job of cleaning up when they were done. I would recommend CPL Landscape and Tree Service to anyone looking for a reasonable, reliable, and professional tree service company.

The entire crew was kind to our whole family, respectful of our property and did a great job trimming our large tree. Very responsive and was able to do the job the same day as the estimate. Highly recommend.

From the moment I met Chad until the last leaf was taken away, Chad's crew was quick, efficient and thorough. Chad himself is responsive and a pleasure to work with and his price was very reasonable. We had a huge infested, compromised tree that needed to come down completely. The stump grinding isn't even completed yet - I was eager to get this very positive and unsolicited review out there as people are dealing with storm damage. They also trimmed an overgrown holly and cleaned up every last twig.

THE best price by far! Chad was a delight. Fair, prompt, kind. Two huge trees, plus a neighbor’s tree in one day. Then cut up my wood giving me two cords for next winter!!!! When done they cleaned up every piece of wood as if they’d not been here. Highly recommend!

These guys are the best! I first used them on a recommendation from a neighbor. A large pine tree was knocked down in my front yard during Hurricane Sandy. Chad was at my house within an hour of my call. The price was very reasonable and the tree was removed within 24 hours. Since then, I have used them numerous times to clean up trees in my yard. Chad always takes the time to walk the property and make recommendations to keep the yard safe for my kids. The price is always very reasonable and the work is completed within the given timeframe. I highly recommend CPL and would not call anyone else. I will be using them again in the near future.

Chad was absolutely amazing to us this past week. We had horrible storms come through the area on Monday and a tree fell on our car. We called Chad on Tuesday for an estimate and he came right out. On Thursday the tree was completely removed off our driveway. My husband (Anthony) did all the communication and had nothing but positive things to say about Chad and CPL. Chad and his crew were here yesterday to remove a tree and trim & prune another that were between my house and my neighbor. It was tight space. They handled it. It took no time at all. I'm planning a solar panel installation and needed the neighbors' tree tops trimmed back. Chad came out the next morning after I called and gave an estimate on the removal of trees lining the back of my property, which I was very happy with. One of the other companies I called said they wanted no parts of the job bc of trees behind my shed and how difficult it would be to get to them. Chad’s team did an awesome job removing all of them and cleaning up after.

Chad and his crew are phenomenal! Most of the reviews on here are for tree removal, but don't sleep on the landscaping part of this team. My lawn had grading issues; they pulled up my patio, corrected the grade in multiple locations, and put the patio back even better than it was before. The crew was also friendly and professional. I have already hired them again for removal of a dead tree, and I know that their work will be just as thorough and careful. Thank you for the excellent service, Chad!

We used CPL to cut down four trees and prune one. It was a major project. When we first met Chad, he was one of the nicest and down to earth guys. He made me feel comfortable with all my questions so I can narrow down everything we wanted done. Chad worked with me daily with all the weather nuances until we were able to get a good schedule in.
They came on the promised day with a GREAT crew and went to work right away. These guys are top-notch!! They do everything safely and efficiently until all is done. What impressed me most is the meticulous efforts they all made spending more time cleaning up then cutting. I would recommend them for any small and definitely any BIG jobs you have.

I called CPL after reading so many positive reviews of the business. I had called one outfit who refused to do the work and another who never even came to give us an estimate after setting up an appointment. CPL's owner, Chad, returned my call quickly, and came out and gave us a very reasonable estimate to remove some fairly large tree branches, trim back some trees that had grown too close to our house, trim up a large boxwood bush, and tear out a painfully thorny hedge that was tangled in ivy that ran the entire length of our front lawn, roots and all. Chad and his capable crew arrived this morning, less than a week after my first call, and had everything taken care of and cleaned up in a few hours. Chad and his guys are friendly and know what they're doing. I would recommend them to anyone who's looking for a good landscaper.

Chad and his crew came out to remove 4 trees from our backyard and they made it look easy! I had no idea how they were going to do it since my yard backs up to my neighbors on one side and my other neighbors on another side and my yard is fenced in. They strategically climbed, cut, tied off and dropped down branches making their way to the top. Then cut all the way down to the ground. They brought the chipper and chipped and took away all the debris. It was fun to watch! I asked to leave some for fire wood and they stacked it very nicely for me. Chad and I chatted and bit while they worked. He’s a down to earth nice guy. His prices are more than fair! I would HIGHLY recommend them for any of your landscaping needs! I will for sure 100% call them if and when I ever need anything else done!

I am completely satisfied with the work Chad and his crew provided for tree removal. Chad visited for estimate the day after he and I spoke on the phone - he was the first one to come out of 4 other estimates I had requested, AND THE MOST AFFORDABLE estimate. He was able to honor the "essential worker" discount for me, which was very appreciated.
After 4 proposals from 4 different companies, I decided on CPL, because (1) other companies gave me 6-8 weeks delay when Chad told me he can try to do it in 2 weeks, (2) his proposal was the most affordable.
Chad was able to squeeze me into his schedule when there was a cancellation 1 week after I sent him confirmation to his proposal.
Next thing I know, the tree I've been meaning to remove for past 5 years is, poof~, gone. They cleaned up after their business, not a single mess was left behind. I highly recommend this business. Thank you, CPL.

Chad and his team were excellent. We had 8+ trees and ground debris removed from a .33 acre property with very tricky terrain - large sloping hill and tight quarters between neighbors. Cranes were required to safely complete the job. His pricing was very competitive and personally managed the execution of the job.

Chad and the team at CPL were a pleasure to work with from start to finish. Chad was extremely kind and transparently worked with my husband and I throughout the entire process of coordinating with PECO to remove a tree in our backyard. We had a very overgrown multi-trunk wild cherry that was in a difficult location on our property boundary. Chad (the owner) was extremely accommodating and timely in meeting with me for a quote. He had done work for many of my neighbors and is a local guy. We were able to quickly agree to the price and shook on it. Two days later, I received the written proposal. The quote was dramatically lower than one I received from another well-respected company. Chad suggested the difference might be equipment, as his crew were climbers and they didn't use lifts or cranes. This was something not even mentioned by the other company.

Two weeks later, his crew spent over 6 hours removing the tree, navigating not only our yard and fence, but also our neighbors, where the chipper truck needed to be parked.They even removed a section of our metal fence for access to the tree. Everything was left in perfect shape afterwards and the cleanup was immaculate. Chad was on-site most if not the whole day. HIGHLY recommend!

Mike Shields was recommended to me to solve a difficult issue with a leak behind a concrete landing at my front door. Mike's crew, led by the company's V.P. Ed, first completed the job of demolishing the old stoop and exposing the problem that caused the leak. With the cooperation of another outstanding general contractor, Matt Morgan at Top Notch Construction, the damaged area of the home was reconstructed and waterproofed in just one day. The Shields Landscaping guys then returned and built a beautiful new concrete landing. All of this was accomplished with speed and precision despite numerous challenges presented by bad weather. I recommend this company for their "Can Do" attitude, quality work and fair pricing.
