Reviews of local pros in Springfield, Pennsylvania

After buying a fixer-upper in Springfield, I needed some chimney work done and called Choice Springfield Chimney Cleaning for an estimate. They were able to come out just a couple of days after I contacted them, which was really convenient for my schedule. Brian did a full inspection of both the roof and chimney, and everything he found matched up with what my home inspector had already told me, which showed me right away that he was straightforward and honest. Brian took the time to explain everything clearly—what was in good shape, what repairs were needed, and the reasons why. He also went over all my options so I could make the best choice for my home. The repairs were finished quickly and stayed within my budget, with no surprises or hassles along the way. When the crew came out to do the work, they were all very friendly and professional. They made sure to clean up thoroughly after themselves, so the only thing left behind was the great job they did on my chimney and roof. I’m very happy with the service and would recommend them to anyone in Springfield looking for reliable chimney sweep services.

i had a really good experience with the chimney sweep service in springfield. they gave us a free estimate, which was nice. we needed some masonry repair, two layers of flashing, and a new chimney liner. on the first day, melvin and ezra found a group of bats living between the flashing and the chimney. they talked with us about what to do, and we got a pest removal company to put in one-way doors for the bats. melvin and ezra worked hard those first two days to get as much done as possible. after the bats were gone, melvin came back to finish the flashing work. i highly recommend their chimney services if you need anything done.

After moving into my new place in Springfield, I noticed there was an issue with my damper—a part didn't seem to fit right and it wouldn't close properly. I called Choice Springfield Chimney Cleaning and Melvin came out to take a look. He quickly figured out what was wrong and fixed it so the damper now works perfectly. The whole process was quick and smooth. Melvin really knew his stuff about fireplaces and chimneys, and the price was fair too. I highly recommend their chimney sweep services to anyone needing help with their fireplace.

ezra is a skilled chimney technician who did an excellent job rebuilding the chimney at my rental property. he installed a new stone chimney cap and even returned after the roofer to make sure the flashing was correctly fitted into the masonry. recently, he also assisted with a metal flue at my home. the work was done well and the pricing was fair. i highly recommend choice springfield chimney cleaning for anyone needing chimney repairs or maintenance.

my experience getting my chimney cleaned and having a new chimney cap and chase cover installed in springfield was really good overall. the materials they used seem top-notch and have a lifetime warranty. after the work, i used my fireplace and it draws great now, so the sweep job was clearly done well. ezra was the one who handled my appointment and was very reassuring throughout the process. even when there was a small mix-up with one of the parts, he explained everything and made sure the right piece was ordered quickly. they had to leave the old part in place for a short time, but once the correct part came in, they finished the job nicely. i liked that ezra promised to send me photos of the work since i'm not about to climb up on my roof to check it out myself. after the job was done, i asked for the photos and got them, which gave me peace of mind that everything looked good up there. the communication was friendly, and even though it took a bit longer than i expected, i appreciate their effort and how well my chimney is working now. i haven’t seen any leaks or issues since, and the warranty gives me extra confidence. overall, i’m glad i chose them for my chimney sweep and repair in springfield.
