Reviews of local pros in St Davids, Pennsylvania

Daniel and Team were great. They knew exactly my needs to remove 17 small annoying stumps to open front and backyard giving us a clean landscape to be creative Spring 2021. Thank you

Always nice when you get the owner of the company on the phone when you call. Got a quote within minutes and stumps were gone a couple days later. Nobody else would touch the job due to the steep slope in my backyard. Thanks Stump Munchers!!

Super fast response! Was lucky as he was about a mile away when I called (1:18p). Got a good price to get it done right away and had two stumps done (20” and 12”) by 1:41pm! Another thing off the honey do list! Big Thanks!

We had been trying to make an appointment with another company for weeks, and was treated very rudely by their staff - I finally reached out to Daniel at 1pm and he literally came SAME DAY to grind 7 stumps in my yard with his amazing grinder. Very nice guy, excellent work, amazing prices and I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone.

Daniel answered the first time I called and came out the same day. Did a great job removing three stumps for me and taking out a few shrubs. Fair pricing and quick service.

Wow - what a service! We needed our stumps removed within 24 hours for a fence install and they were available within an hour of calling. They were quick, helpful, and delightful to work with. Would use for future stumps!

Daniel was able to match and beat a better price quote i got from another. He was able to come out much quicker too and did a fantastic job. Highly recommend.

Dan Murphy was called and responded the same day by performing the needed stump removal. His price is fair, he is personable. Couldn't Have asked for ore

I had a large stump and the companies I called in the area were either not equipped for the work, or they were quoting astronomical prices. Daniel came in the evening and grinded the unsightly stump to pieces. I had to pay a hauler to move the pile, but I'm happy with his work.

DO NOT HIRE. We had then out to our home previously, and they did not clean up anything after they removed stumps from our property. Even still we saw past that, and hired them again to come remove some more stumps around our patio and pool area. This time they ruined our in ground pool by hitting the water line. Flooding our yard and costing us a lot of money to repair. When confronted about it instead of trying to help they said “we aren’t liable for this” and left. We also have come to find that they are not insured. Not my idea of a good company. What about you?

Stump completely removed. Area of stump was a concern as on a sidewalk in front of a business with glass windows on one side and passing cars on the other side, plus a sewer pipe near the stump. Barriers were erected and stump was removed in a very professional manner without any issues. I called to get an estimate at 1pm and stump was removed at 5 pm same day. Would hire them again.

Stump Munchers did an excellent job after we had a dozen trees removed from our property. They responded and scheduled quickly and they were able to do the entire job in one day. Really conscientious on site too!

called stumpmunchers talked to Dan and gave me a reasonable quote over the phone. came fast and only took less than 15 min to finish for a 3 foot in diameter stump with roots spanning 6 feet above ground. great service. don't know why i didn't call them sooner. thanks Dan

I had a HUGE stump that no other company wanted to touch.
I reached out to Stump Munchers.
Dan called me back first thing in the morning and said his guys could be out today.
By noon the stump was completely gone and the area total cleaned up.
Excellent work!
I HIGHLY recommend Stump Munchers!!

We called Daniel and within hours he was over and did the job quick and clean! His helper was very hard working and we were extremely happy with the work! We would highly recommend and would use again in the the future if needed!

Daniel was fantastic! We called and he came out only a few hours later. Very responsive, kept us posted on his timeline, and reasonably priced. He gave us his perspective and went above and beyond what we asked. Will keep him in mind for all future needs. Highly recommend.

Dan was very professional and excellent at what he does. He came out same day I called and did a fantastic job with my 3 huge stumps. Price was fair and I couldn’t be happier.

I called for two stumps in my backyard. I measured them but apparently bc of my hill it required deeper work. The guys came into backyard, looked at stumps, I conversed with them and they left without telling me why. The truck just took off. My husband called a couple days later and owner said it would require more money and work. At least tell us that. They literally took truck and took off without explaining. We found another company that charged a good price and had two stumps done in an hour.

Stump Munchers came to our home within 24 hours of my first phone call to Daniel (the owner) and ground down a tricky oak tree stump. His employee, John, came out and handled the job professionally and neatly. Would definitely use Stump Munchers again.

Stump Munchers is amazing! They munch those tree stumps, shrubs and bushes like no one I've seen before!

I called in the morning and they were out same day within hours. They took out a 2 foot diameter Magnolia stump with lots of root structure. The machine they had was ridiculous and fit through my 48 inch gate opening with ease. All in it took about 15 minutes. Operators are skilled, friendly and professional. Shavings left in a neat pile where stump use to reside.

To top it all off, $cost was very competitive. Would use them again in a heartbeat and highly recommend them to anyone in need of some solid stump munching in the PA suburbs and surrounding areas!

Hired them to grind a large stump. They initially left the stump too high, but were happy to come back and fixed it without any issues.
